If your feeling really hungry after a workout it is ok to eat back some of those extra calorie you burned but I prefer not to and that is fine with my dietitian.
 
i'm not usually hungry after a workout and if I am I just have yogurt and berries

Breakfast
60g Muesli
125 ml semi skim milk
1 coffee w/sweetner

snack
grapes
2 cruskits

Lunch
chicken
garden salad
spoon of coleslaw

snack
1 apple

dinner
bbq chicken
frozen stir fry vegies

dessert
yogurt and berries

I've had a really bad day work wise and fiance wise everyone pushing my buttins so i'm pretty pissed off and I plan to take it out on my treadmill tonight then walk the dogs once its cooler

happy calorie counting everyone :)
 
Exercise is the best thing for stress relief. And well done for doing that and not looking through the cupboards as most of us have done.
If youre close to the border I guess the smokes from us. Up to about 5000h now. But there is a few going in vic
 
another great day for me food and excersise wise

breakfast

small amount of bbq chicken

1 chicken breast sliced and cooked w/.spices
frozen vegies

went for a half hour walk in my lunch break < not bad for a rest day
 
Also add to yesterday a 15min walk with the dogs

Had a sneak peek on the treadmill :hurray: very happy but not official weigh in till friday!

I have been doing so well and i'm so excited for the next few months its going to be so good :):) so happy

Eh, hasn't the heatwave been AWFUL!?? Normally it wouldn't bother me (I live in the Pilbara... just desert all around) but on holidays down south at the moment and my parents have crappy air con.

Well done on a good start!!

we have more heat on the way its a nice 29 here today much cooler but creeping up again over the weekend :)
 
Haha yea, I think we average around high 30s/ low 40s most of the time... I have amazing air con at home though so can't even feel it, I only ever go outside to swim too so the heat doesn't really affect me. There's a cyclone in the area now though so I think we are expecting storms for the next week- it's supposed to be 'wet season' at the moment but everything misses us, something to do with the heat radiating off the salt mines. Hoping for some decent storms!!!
 
we need a good storm here with lots of rain in it would be nice

well I did great today
at work my boss opened up some choccies that we all got in a hamper for xmas and I said no so she grabbed the container with nuts and fruit and yogurt things and i still said NO as I had just had lunch before I would have said yes but willpower is sooooo strong

Great job on passing up the snacks! As far as the weather goes... I have snow here. I'd be more than happy to share...lol. :)
 
Great will power. Have to say mines been great for the first time ever. Think that's what I struggle with the most, and probably would've gone for some nuts still.
Beans yuk lol. That gave me a giggle. I don't like them either but I also got quite sick from them as a kid so just stay away now.
Our temps have dropped below 20 for past couple days now, bit windy. Those few 30-40 days kill us in the south as we arent used to it lol. the fires still going strong, about 9000h now. So it's very smoky here in town.

weight in day tomorrow i'm excited but nervous, i'm having a feeling fat day today :( think a lot of that is I have my monthlys and feeling bloated and generally blah also VERY tired :( and i'm hoping that it doesn't have a impact on me weigh in but i have a feeling it will :(

last night with the lasagne mum made garlic bread and I had 1 slice :( been trying not to eat bread but I thought it wouldn't hurt but I also didn't eat my yogurt and berries as I was so tired after my work out I showered and went straight to bed

burnt only 342 cal yesterday but better then nothing while I built up to 5k, once the challange starts I will up it a bit more :)

Sounds like you are doing great! Sometimes it's just the right time and you are in the right headspace to commit to exercise and sticking to the eating plan - it just sounds to me like you are firmly in that place!!

Keep it up! We're all cheering you on!! Looking forward to hearing how the weigh in went.
