How'd your weekend go Tammy? I'm getting confused on where you're at, if you don't keep your ticker up to date! I had to change mine, I put on a pound and a half this week. :cry:
 
Hello everyone,Thank you Mish,Cannon,Tina,Dari.Yeah I used to move my ticker no matter if it is up or down but for some reason I don't want to move it UP where it should be,I am hoping 2 weeks will put me back where I left off and I can move,I just don't want to get more discouraged than I am already!!
I can see moving it up a lb or 2 BUT 8-9 lbs I can't do it.I will work harder I had some pizza yeatserday but I ate right the rest of the day I did a MINI walk to try to get back into the flow.I will get to that happy place again,Tammy
 
HI Tammy! stopping by to catch up, keep you chin up 8 lbs for me is TOM water weight, you can kick those off in two weeks you know you can, just start chugging that water, keep walking and eating right and you'll be there in no time.
 
Good morning Tammy!!!! If we can focus the weight will come off so quickly!!! Just have to get back on the ball! Glad you were able to get a walk in! It has been hot here too but we are a desert heat so it's nice and dry:D I found a new snack that I am liking and thought I would share: Activa Fat Free Vanilla yogurt with walnuts crumbled into it. So yummy and the cups are only 70 cals!! Apparently it's good with honey too but I am afraid to put too much in. I was reading Oprah.com yesterday and they had this "Best Life" diet guy talking about snacking and food choices. It was interesting. Worth a read if it's still there! I hope you are having a good day. Even if it is mini walks getting out there is the hard part. ONce you have that down you can crank it!!! (I've seen you... Hey tammy!! Been a while, just poppin in to say hi!!!! Hope to be on here alot more than i have been, llol. great to see ur doin good:D Everybody is doin so great, im so proud of all yall.
 
I figured out 1 thing that may help alot is do not grocery shop when your tummy is growling then you wind up throwing oreos ices cream pizzas in the cart and taking them home then having to wake up to them everyday because I couldn't devour all it in 1 day I bought about $20 in BAD foods lastweek and it is all gone so I went out lastnight and bought grapes watermelon chicken mixed veggies plus I have a big pot of veggie soup I made before all this happend.So I am hoping for better days ahead.

Pinky yeah I did that lastnight went and stocked up and lots of healthier foods.Mish I am feeling it girl,I am back on let's see how day 1 goes!!Tammy
 
I try and keep stocked up especially on sweet fruits like nectarines and strawberries that way when I get a sugar craving I have something sweet and not so bad for me. That and I always have a huge tupperware of mixed salad greens and veggies in my fridge so when a mealtime rolls around I have one less food group to worry about cooking and it helps me focus on making a healthy meal to go with the awesome veggie salad. I also keep cooked brown rice in the fridge so we can just grab it and microwave it instead of worrying about spending a ton of time cooking healthy and then cheating because we are lazy.

my "cheat" food is those 60 cal sugar free pudding snacks...I love the carmel flavor! And its almost like not cheating!

I think talking about food is my favorite subject.
 
oh yum.... pudding!! I made a fruit salad last night with bananas, peaches, grapes, nectarines, strawberries, walnuts and fat free vanilla yogurt! So good and healthy:) Have I had any... nope. I was so stressed out last night and I ate and ate... chips and salsa and ice cream bars. Sigh. But yes I am still feeling good and back on so day one for me too:D lol. You sound like your off to a good start with the healthy fridge! Good luck!! I am sending good thoughts your way. It does feel so much better to get on track!! Have a great day!!
 
Ok so far I am off to a gr8 start but I will update tonight when the day is officially over.I am not really counting calories anymore just eating healthy and until i am satisfied,I am howderver going to estimate ans aty between 1200-1400 a day.

a huge bowl of my Veggie soup made with green peppers green onion celery carrots green beans 1 pk lipton noodle soup 3 beef buion cubes stewed tomatoes
2 small boneless chicken breast prepared in a skillet w/ water and lemon pepper

I am kind of on strict mode today but tomorrow I plan to have the usual egg beater healthy mad turkey sand ect.Thanks all for kind words and good to see ya back IWAN!! I have had those carmel and vanilla puddings deluce I think it is?Did you noticed the fat free says 100 cals but the 20% less sugar is only 60 cals?Hmmmm lol
 
I did notice the difference between the two but only because I was entering it on my spark nutrition page and it kept putting 100 cals so I'm going to have to enter the sugar free ones so I can keep an accurate cal count. Our connection is so slow today though and spark won't load so I'll wait till they fix the connection. Hope your day is successful Tammy!

Well I feel I am back on track,I was much happier today and I ate my menue plus a south beach snack.The main thing I am happy is about is me and my oldest Nia(9) walked a walk with me that totalled over an hour and a 1/2 about 4-5 miles!!I feel great plus I went to the tanning bed and got my tan on lol.Wooohooo I survived day 1 now for day 2,whats weird is NOT 1 craving today and I am not hungry.C-yas tomorrow,Tammy

Ok I am on day 2 of restartin and it's going ok I just don't understand how you can be starving 5 minutes after eating lunch,I had a bunch of grapes and a turkey sandwhich on lite wheat w/ ff cheese and mustard?
I am killing time and going to have my snack here in about an hour and a 1/2.
I refuse to have a BAD DAY!!My kids have a baseball game at 6 today I may walk home from the game it is like amile and a 1/2 and I will go for a 2 mile walk tonight after sunset (my fave time to take a walk).
