OMGoodness! That's the biggest splinter I've ever seen!! Talk about ouch!! I would have past out. lol

Howdy,
Well I am on my last day of TOM and boy did I overeat again.
I don'y know why my eating habbits change dramatically when I "start"? I totally blew the whole weekend and today. I was suppose to go to the YMCA and fill out papers to get started BUT hubby wakes me up at 5AM to tell me he was going to meet his brother up at KINGS ISLAND AMUSEMENT/WATER PARK after work and I am still 1/2 asleep after I woke up at 8AM I realized whart was said and I told hime he does that all the time tells me shit when I am asleep sfter I made plans 1st GRRRRRRRRRRR I AM MAD........His brother did take 2 of my kids to the park as well but here it is 8:36 and I haven't been able to go anywhere or do anything today.It's me my daughter and the baby.Well I promise to be back on track when I open my eyeballs in the morning,Tammy

just remember you promised us!!!

Hope you find it easier to stay on track. I just refocused myself. I made a list of 10 reasons why I want to lose weight & I will look at it daily as a reminder on why this is so important. Kick me back into gear. Read that tip somewhere & if figure why not?
 
First of all, I agree, that's a HUGE splinter!

Second of all, I can totally relate to eating like crap during TOM. I did the same thing. So hopefully we can keep control soon during that time!
 
Maybe u can have your schedule for the day/week written out on a board next to your bed so your DH doesn't do that as often. Not sure if it'll help lol.
 
I will try anything at this point.This is where I get so dag gone aggervated for I made it to 174 then once again here comes "TOM" then bounce back to 180 that seems to be my main weight that I bounce between.The last time I hit 182-184 so I am glad it didn't go that far.Anyway I am back on and I will try to plan ahead and maybe be broke next time TOM comes lol if I am broke then I can't go out and buy the foods I deathly crave lol.Ok it is 1 PM and I havent had lunch or breakfast but this is do to being full from yesterday.I am going to cut up some watermelon and have a WW meal.Ok I can do this,Thank you for the support you all I wouldn't have hopped back on the wagon so quickly if I didn't have you's.Tammy:hug2:
 
Good morning Tammy!!! God I took a long break. I had a terrible weekend too. Thurs, Sat and Sun I did 4 hours a day of major yardwork that kicked my butt. Great calorie burn and I should have lost weight right??? WRONG!!! I put on 5lbs!!! I ate so much and went to bed pretty much everynight with that full sick feeling!!! So we both didn't do so well, however it seemed you stayed pretty close to 2,000. I will swear one of my days I went all the way to 3,000!!! Welcome back though. I am trying to do the same thing. I had a good day yesterday and my cravings are MAJOR!!! TOM is at it with me too and what's sad is I will have another episode in a week:( sigh. I hope things get off to a good start today! Good luck to both of us!!
 
Glad to see ya back Mish! Sorry we had bad weekends and I may have had a day close to 3,000 to I tend to forget and leave some of the bad foods out when I am eating them.Atleat we are back on track and I gained 6 lbs the last time I gained 10 so I am going to have to work harder and deal with my monthly problems a little differently,Tammy
 
Ok another bad day but not a total loss.I didn't eat breakfast or lunch I know skipping meals BAD but we ate at CHEDDERS and I had the chicken alfredo w/ garlic bread and a coke so atleast 1500 cals there and some sara lee strawberry cheesecake ice cream 320 calories there for a whopping total of 1820 CALORIES.I did come home and walked 45 minutes and this includes the very hilly streets.

I also went to the YMCA and filled out the papers and they took my picture and I paid then they asked if I brought my kids so they can have pictureas made and of course left them with hubby so I can fill out paperas in piece.
Anyway I told them I wasn't working out today plus I didn't know where to start and what to do so they said I should sighn up with a trainer for a 12 week orentation program so I said OK and it's on for THURS at 6:30.But OMG
the anxiety kicked in,such a big place ,not knowing what to do where to go heck they have daycare there and I don't know where that is?So lot's of questions I can't believe how nervous I was can you imagine the day I actually get to workout.Tammy:eek2:

Dont they bring u on an orientation walk thru the common placese u will need to go? Perhaps can ask them. Hope u have fun when u start on Thur.:) So glad for u!
 
No worries Tammy. Soon enough you will know the place like the back of your hand! It was duanting to me when I first joined the gym but it is a second home to me after these years. I even acclimated myself to a new one this year! It's nice when the people start saying hi because you have been to a class with them or you see them all the time. Bad days keep coming. It will get better. TOM can't last forever and your right. There has to be a better way to deal with the cravings instead of cave... just need some tricks?? hmmmmm. Hope you have a good day. We can do it... we've done it before!!
 
You will be fine Tammy - someone will walk you through all that !!! Im so excited for you - your gonna start working out at the gym with a trainer you are gonna drop girl - you so will you just watch !!!

I don't know if I want a "program"I just want to know what to do 1st and how to work the machines,also where everything is,they have indoor/outdoors pool's daycare,a indoor track,locker rooms,tumbling classes for your little ones lot's of astuff and so far I know where the front desk is and outdoor pool and thats about it lol.
I know I will work through the anxiety and do the right thing,I am just a nervous,shy person when it comes to stuff like this.I was hoping since I lost some weight I would feel compfy enough to go to a place like this but I dunno?Well I will update later,Tammy

Did you happen to watch Oprah the other day? This topic was covered on it. I can't remember the details other than there was hormones involved and the body craves salt?? Something about iron and such.

The cravings are normal apparently. I'll have to google it for confirmation on the specifics, but just know that you are not alone in your TOM habits.

lol... i mean an orientation tour of the place so u wouldn't get lost. Not the 12 week orientation program. I'll faint if it takes 12 weeks to show you around the whole place.
anyway how did the first session go?
 
Nice work on joining the club.. now it sounds like a challenge getting in there. Wow a 12 week orientation training sounds like it must be extremely thorough. Maybe it is a tour & 12 weeks of personal training or something. Good luck.

Where are ya and how did it go ??? You went yesturday right ??? You will be fine girl - It took me alot to take some steps I took too - it is all abt the growing process lol...you are ready for the next step adn now you are doing it :):):)
