Hey Tamara,

I thought I would stop by and see how you were doing. It looks like your well on your way and have had some major success in the weight loss department already :)

Soda is evil. I still struggle with diet soda especially.... It's one of my vices. I guess there are worse ones but, I feel kind of bad about that one. Wadaya do though? We are all human.

Great job on the exercise!

Aww hun hope ur not having too bad a day...the bad days are always a time when i come on here maybe 3 or 4 times! I find it sooo helpful to type away the worries!

Thanks! But today got even worse once I got to work! Although my food choices may have suffered, my calories were still ok.. minus the soda. Did I mention that soda is evil? :reddevil: I know I shouldn't drink it, but it's just so yummy... evil and yummy!
 
L: 2 chicken wingettes w/ BBQ sauce, mozzarella sticks, creamed spinach, and a banana. 639 calories.
S: Cereal bar and a banana. 245 calories.
S: 2 chicken strips. 235.
S: Lemonade. 100 calories.
D: Crispy chicken salad with ranch, and coke. 975 calories.
S: 2 scoops mint chocolate chip ice cream on a waffle cone. 350 calories.
Daily calories total: 2544.
Water: 7 glasses.
Exercise: None, day off because my joints and muscles are killing me!
Work: 7.65 hours.
 
My calories for yesterday... (if you haven't noticed I usually tend to post them after I get home from work, so usually around 12-1am.)...

B: Hummus, whole wheat crackers, chicken wingettes w/ BBQ sauce, and a banana.
L: Whole wheat pita pizza.
S: Mint chocolate chip ice cream cone.
S: Yogurt and some waffle fries.
D: 1/2 whole wheat bagel sandwhich with ham, turkey, cheese, cheese spread with mozzarella sticks with ketchup.
S: Reese's peanut butter cup and chocolate almond chip ice cream cone.
Daily calorie total: 2378.
Exercise: 55 minute cardio.
Water: 7 glasses.

Yesterday was horrible... 2 ice cream cones? Fried waffle fries? Mozzarella sticks? No veggies? *sigh* well at least I drank most of my water and I had some whole wheat stuff? ... today is already going better, except I haven't really eaten much of anything.

So anyway!!! Yesterday was also my weigh in! I lost another 2lbs!!!!!!!!! :D
So I have to be doing something right! Steady weight loss is better than no weight loss! :hurray: :party:
 
Breakfast: Orange juice, 1/2 yogurt, 1/2 cereal bar, 1/2 whole wheat bagel sandwich.
Lunch: Popcorn, watermelon and honeydew, whole wheat cheese quesadilla.
Snack: Small salad with ranch.
Snack: Cereal bar.
Dinner: Rice-a-roni with pork and corn, 1/2 a coke.
Snack: Ice cream cone.
Water: 8 glasses.
Exercise: 55 minutes.
Work: 6 hours.
Daily total calories: 2547.

So that whole one cheat day, or rather, ice cream once a week isn't working for me, if I buy it, I want it every night!! *sighs*... I'm going to try really hard not to eat any more ice cream this week... that means hubby doesn't get more this week either... :reddevil: hehehe... but he thinks that's :icon_bs:... I think I did better than yesterday though?

I'm super depressed... I don't know where I'm going with my foods... I actually have no idea if I'm over doing the exercise or under doing the exercise... I just got finished crying my eyes out to my hubby, and I just don't think he understands!!! I did 25 minute express hi-def sculpt of the FIRM, even though I really wanted to do the 55 minute workout... I just couldn't get myself motivated to do the whole thing, and I HATE the express workout...I wish I could do the other videos but I can't do them because I suck and I'm too fat to move that fast or do the moves.... on top of it my knee is KILLING me and continues to pop every time I lunge or bend it at all! I just don't feel like I can do this anymore.... and I don't feel like I'm eating healthy at all... I don't know what I'm doing... :cry: ... *sigh*and it doesn't matter anyway.

Sounds to me like overdoing the exercise. If you aren't enjoying it, I wouldn't bother at this point. Exercise is good for your health, but not particularly useful for weight loss. And from a health perspective, walking is excellent exercise.
 
Thanks Ally. I enjoy the high-def sculpt video a lot! I honestly love the 55 minute workout... I was just feeling crappy about not being able to do the other videos... or able to do the amount of high-def sculpt that I wanted to do... if that makes any sense...

D?: Half of a honey bbq super melt with broccoli. 680 calories.
S?: Half of a honey bbq super melt with cheesy fiesta potatoes. 830 calories.
S: Chocolate almond chip ice cream cone. 370 calories.
Daily calorie total: 2760.
Water: 8.5 glasses.
Exercise: 25 minute cardio, express option.
Worked: 7 hours.

Alright, so, I miscalculated my calories when I thought to myself "I want an ice cream cone, because today was crappy"... well now today is even crappier because I was off the amount of calories I wanted to eat by 160 calories, one of the scoops of chocolate almond chip ice cream... I feel like a cow... but I'll say like a pig since we don't have a cow icon... :piggy:

Hey sweetie hows things? Looks like your'e doing pretty well!!

Sounds like you are def overdoing the exercise if your knee is agony! If you are overdoing it at the mo, then i would maybe do a bit less cardio so that you dont hate it. Strength training is brilliant for boosting the metabolisim and isnt usually horrific :D:D Even just a wee walk is better than nothing!

Dont beat yourself up abt the ice cream...if you enjoyed it then count it as a treat and move on! I had a really stressful few days and i devoured chocolate and wine but i dont really regret it cos i wanted it and i enjoyed it! You're doing great :D

Though today felt like a horrible day too, this entire week seems impossible to me. I don't feel like figuring out all of my calories at the moment because it's 4am, and I really should be getting to bed. But I feel all flabby and gross today... super gassy because of ice cream I've been putting in my body on a daily basis, and not drinking all my water today totally did not help.

I feel like a big fat blob right now... :cry:
 
It's only 160 calories. Just cut out 160 today, or if that'd make you hungry then cut out 80 today and 80 tomorrow. There are any number of ways to adapt to going over your calories. Or you could just not cut anything out and add 10 extra minutes to your cardio for a few days.

Whatever you do, don't beat yourself up over 160 calories.
 
It usually ends up being 370 calories actually, 2 scoops on a cone, or like last night, 3 on a cone. Here's my stuff for yesterday...

S: Cherry Pepsi.
L: Sandwich containing: whole wheat bread, mustard, smoked turkey, ham, pepper jack cheese, along with a banana and 4oz cup of pomegranate juice.
D: BBQ pork rib with lo-mien (with mostly carrots and broccoli).
S: Ice cream.
S: Half whole wheat pita pocket with turkey, and pepper jack cheese.
S: Ice cream.
Daily calories total: 1990.5.
Water: 3 glasses.
Exercise?: 855 calories burned.
Work: None.

D: BBQ pork rib with whole wheat mac n' cheese, broccoli, fruit salad with fat free whip cream. 894 calories.

Daily calorie total: 2090.
Water: 7 glasses.
Exercise: None.
Work: 3.50 hours.
 
Can i ask what a smore is??? Sounds very interesting! Dont think we have them in the uk!

Your cals and water consumptiona re pretty much on track :D:D you are putting me to shame!
 
Um, I don't know if I spelled it right or not but it's one marshmallow with a piece of chocolate in between two graham crackers.

B: 3 turkey sausage links, english muffin w/ margarine, pomegranate juice.
S: Half of a turkey and cheese sandwich, cereal bar.
L: Chicken quesadilla with broccoli.
S: 2 chicken strips and 3 french fries, lemonade.
D: Cheesy fiesta potatoes, 2/3 cheesy bean and rice burrito, chicken gordita.
Daily calorie total: 3383, which is over my maintenance level, which is really bad... I guess I'll just have to do better tomorrow.
Water: 11 glasses.
Exercise: 55 minutes of cardio, used 15lbs weights for a portion of the video, used light weights for the rest of it.
Worked: 7.87 hours.

By the way, I weighed myself this morning and I lost another 2lbs!!! :D Yes, I know, it wasn't time to weigh-in, but I felt great earlier about it, but now I feel a little shitty!

So I thought yesterday was embarrassing, well today is definitely embarrassing... I ate more calories than I wanted to, even went over my recommended amount at ahealthyme.com, *sighs*... although I didn't go over my maintenance level... I totally suck!

B: 4 sausage links, a banana, pomegranate juice.
L: Turkey, cheese, cream cheese whole wheat bagel sandwich, a banana, pomegranate juice.
S: Chicken noodle soup and a side salad with egg and ranch.
S: 1/2 a chicken quesadilla.
D: 2 hot dogs in a whole wheat sandwich roll with 3oz of watermelon with 2.5 calories of fat free whipped cream on top.
Daily total calories: 2845.5.
Exercise: 25 minutes of cardio.
Water: 8 glasses.
Worked: 4.50 hours.

PS: I'm going to start REDing days where I think I should have done better.
