In search for motivation in my weight-loss i ended up here. So many times I have tried with my whole heart just to give up just a few weeks later. And to be honest I´m tired of starting over. I need to find a way to keep me motivated.
I think part of this is due to me trying to hard. Don´t get me wrong, it works great in the beginning when my motivation is on top. But a couple of weeks in something disturbs the rhythm and I stop getting the results I´m use to. And somewhere there I feel like "whats the point", and just gives up.
So my challenge for this time I think is to set my goals a little lower (or slower, I´d like to get there sometime but it can´t be tomorrow), so I can keep it up for longer and don´t feel discouraged if there are times when things don´t go as I planned.
It´s going to be hard, and it always was, because I´m so easily disappointed in my self and hard on my self. But I feel different this time with more belief. And I´m trying new things, like writing here.
So to the stats.
I like counting calories, weight and so on. But I´m not very precise, and it has to be that way. That I have discovered along the way, I will not keep it up if I spend to much time on it. I don´t think the numbers are important in them selves, I just use them along the way to document and keep me motivated.
SW: 91kg (April 2017)
CW: 81 kg
GW1: 74 kg (puts me in the upper normal bmi-chart)
I have other GW to but I think I will hold on to them until I have done some more progress.
My BMR is 2240 kcal
My goal is to lose 0,5kg/week
That means I can eat 1740 kcal/day
So I´m 14 weeks away from my 1st GW. Just before Christmas, good timing
If I feel really motivated I will try to eat 1240 kcal/day (-1kg/week) but beware of feeling like a failure if I can´t keep that up. 0,5 kg/week is better than nothing. And also important to feel like I eat enough, I don´t want to make myself tired and stuff.
Until next time! Stay strong <3
