Back home again!
I don't know how much of a low down on the trip I'm going to write, I guess because there were some boring details, some annoying details, and some beautiful details.
The cabin we stayed in had 3 stories to it, I was on the lowest of the 3 stories. So I was up and down the stairs a lot - so that does count for exercise.

At least my legs benefited from it.
I was a little annoyed by the fact that the parents that chaperoned did not get to be paired up with their own child.

I don't understand it, but each day that we were out and about they wouldn't let us be in the same group as our own child. So, I guess I might have started out annoyed.
TN is a beautiful place. Gatlinburg is so commercialized! It should be renamed - Ripley's (as in Ripley's believe it or not!) because there were like 10 different Ripley "museums" of sorts. Even the aquarium we visited was a Ripley's aquarium.
We visited the national park too - and again I was in a separate group from my ds. Really, what's the point in chaperoning if you don't get to spend some good quality time with your own child? It's not like I would've given him special privileges - I would've and did follow "the rules".
We got to see bears! We were on the bus when we did, but one thing that really made me wonder what the teachers were thinking was that at one point she asked who would like to get off the bus to "see the bear?"

Until the other teacher stepped in I thought for sure I was going to have to add my 2 cents and just let them know how unwise of a move that was. I wouldn't have cared if the kids would've gotten mad at me either.
Anyway, it was cool, but long, and I'm glad to be home.
During the national park visit we went hiking and walked the whole day, other than that and the flights of stairs, I had no real exercise. But my weight is maintained from when I left, so all is good.
Well I'm going to go take a shower and go out and enjoy some Indiana fresh air.
