SweatPea is going to sweat it all off...

Enjoy the family coming over. I think I know what ya mean - Ya love em, but the kids can stress ya out with the noise and running around like crazy.

100 pushups? Wow! I don't think I'm quite ready for that one. I struggle with 10 as I'm so top heavy, but I am working on shrinking that part of my body and doing pushups 1-2 times a week as part of exercise. Who knows, maybe one day that can be a realistic goal for me too!

Hey Yarm, thanks for stopping by. The 100 push-up challenge is over time, so I bet you could do it.

As for the fam, I was right some of them left after about 2 hrs, but then one family stayed for 5 hrs!

But, dh and I went for our walk as soon as they left. So we got in 4 miles this evening.

So with all the walking with dh and him keeping tabs on me in the evening (i.e. - giving me the ahem look when I'm going to go for that treat) it looks like I'm down a pound this morning.

I am right now at 163.5 - haven't changed my ticker yet though because the link to it is on my other computer.

We didn't get in our 4 mile walk Thurs. because by the time dh got home it was raining. However, he decided to get on the treadmill and since I was dressed for walking, I went ahead and got on the elliptical.

I need to start timing our walks so that we can start setting goals to get it completed in shorter times. Of course with the winter on the horizon, we probably won't get as many in. At least I'm not looking forward to that. But it's been a nice time taking walks and talking about our day during this time alone (except the dog - he sometimes wants to stop to take care of business!)

I'm starting my push-up challenge as of today. So if anyone wants to join me, come on over!

So good to see you and hubby working out together. And congrats on not packing on a ton of pounds while away from home this summer. I knew you were worried about that. Miss you!

:D

Hey BG!

Thanks for stopping by. Yeah, I didn't pack on a ton, but didn't lose any either! :smash:

Good idea on the 100 pushup challenge. I could use that one my self! Might join you, especially with this boot camp thing (I'm sure pushups will be a part of it). Did you start up a thread on this forum? It would be a great idea.

Yeah, the thread is over in the challenges - I would've linked it to my sig, but they are so limited on the number of characters you can have in your sig line.

Look at you! I love your new avatar!

Ok so dh and I walked a little over 3 miles tonight. We actually sprinted some of that - it was quite fun, dh kept asking me where did I get all the energy from.

I told him it's him inspiring me, he is losing weight yet again, and now I've got to be serious!!

Time for bed, 5:30 am comes awful early.

I thought J was looking a bit slimmer.
Way to Go J!!!!
Good job on the sprinting. I still get the urge to run but I haven't yet followed up on that! LOL :smilielol5:

Hey there! Congratulations on walking with your husband, and even sprinting--fun fun fun!

I'm going to check out your push-up challenge.

Are you going to bed early enough for waking up at 5:15am?

Just a drive by HELLO from a Caspers Teammate! I look forward to competing in this Challenge along side of ya!

Great job on getting the walking in. I'm trying to stay motivated myself in walking daily. Not only for myself, but for my poor pup who is such a good boy and so enjoys his walks!

Well I will tell him you said so - though I think it's only been a few pounds. ;)

Well thanks for checking up on me, and I think I'm going to bed early enough - if I'm there by 10 pm that's 7.5 hrs of sleep - of course I don't get to sleep right away most nights. ;)

I like the new avatar you are sporting - any meaning to it?

Somedays my "pup" can be quite annoying when it comes time for us to take a walk. We have to S-P-E-L-L it out so that he doesn't get the idea in his head, but as soon as he sees us putting on our shoes, he gets all wound up. I know he loves it, but why can't he just wait patiently, and then for us to ask him? LOL

So today was a blah day for me. It is ttom and so I feel like I want to eat, but thank goodness that at home there is nothing to eat. Except, I did make a no-bean chili dip and ate it with tortilla chips.

I am not taking a walk tonight, nor did I take one last night. Dh was out of town last night and has to work late tonight (he's in resting right now.) So, I have no motivation or will to go do anything right now. Except I'm going to do some push-ups for the push-up challenge. I could go exercise on the elliptical, but I just feel to blah.

In fact if it weren't for ds being at his fellowship meeting tonight, I would probably just go to bed right now!

Off to do push-ups...

Thanks!

I'll check out the thread. I think that I'm at about about 50 now that I've had two days of boot camp under my belt. LOL. Good luck!

What's in your no-bean chili dip?

Nothing good for ya! LOL It takes one block of cream cheese (I do use the low fat, so I guess that's not too bad), 1 can of no-bean chili, and shredded cheese. Spread the cream cheese in a pan - small one like 9x9, then the no-bean chili, then sprinkle with cheese. I think the original recipe calls for like 8 oz of cheese, but I just grab a handful.

50 push-ups at one time? You definitely have me beat!

Wii Fit!

I got a Wiiiiiii Fit!!!

And, my MIL bought me a food scale that calculates the cals/protein/fat, etc. of food! I owe her back for that one, but I'm excited. I weighed a banana - which I usually input at 100 cals, but it actually came out to 155. The peel was still on, but I was surprised to see the difference of what I would've thought it to be.
