SweatPea is going to sweat it all off...

Hey There Sweetpea!! Great job on all your exercise, WOW that's just incredible, no wonder your losing that weight. What did you start at weight wise?? And where is your TICKER?? I can't see your progress? I know your down in the 160's I wish I was down in the 160's right now. LOL How tall are you???? I think that's totally awesome of you to help out that gentlemen during dialysis, really that's a wonderful thing for you to do. AHHHH speaks volumes about who you are!

Hey Miss Ladybug,

I left my ticker in the casper weigh-down challenge, cause my sig was too much for it. :( Anyway, I will put it back after this challenge - or when I get tired of that quote.

I haven't lost as much since being here at WLF - but at one time I did weigh 210. My weight is right now at 168.5 - it's a slow progress for me. I must be doing everything wrong - since I started my weight loss journey about 7 or 8 yrs ago. :sigh:

Hey Sweatpea!
Glad to hear that you got your exercise in early. And another window?! Aren't you guys about done with windows yet? LOL
What's this is see about a recipe....hmmmm? You must tell me all about it.
Have a great day watching the window guys and your absolutely the sweetest for helping Bud with his dialysis. I wanted to but with everyone in our house being sick this week didn't think it was such a good idea. Hopefully we can get in on the next rotation.
Talk to you later!

An apple pita recipe that Hajni mentioned - guess it's in the recipe threads. I think it's the apple breakfast thread.

We actually have like 4 more windows before we are finished. This will probably be the last one for at least 3 or 4 months (I'm praying so anyway!)

Great workout, SweatP!
I prefer to get it done early in the morning and out of the way, that way its not hanging over my head all day. Keep up the great work!

Thanks! I don't mind when I get it done - but I had to get it done early today or likely it wasn't going to get done. :)

Hey now,
You know your doing great! You haven't gained anything since being at WLF so must be doing something right. Right?
Keep your chin up! You'll get there.
Besides ya got me to encourage you all the way.:hug2:

Just got to toot my own horn.

I went to Wally World tonight to pick up a few things. And I was thinking of getting something to nibble on, but instead picked up two fitness mags!

Yay for me!

2 fitness mags, WAY TO GO!! I hope you found some good stuff in there, please share if so, always looking for good tips!! :) Bells right, even though you've been at it for awhile, you haven't gained back and wow you've lost quite a bit, so your doing awesome!!!

Oh there's lots in the mags.

The only thing I don't like are the ads. They have so many that are "special" 4 page ads that when you first start looking at them it looks like an article.

I got one on Nutrition, so hopefully I learn a thing or two from that one.

I am feeling so run down today - it's probably from lack of sleep (cause I went to bed late last night) and too much caffeine. I don't know. I have been drinking lots of water and stayed away from the caffeine since my morning coffee.

I didn't get in any exercise, and don't feel like it today. :(

Ok, haven't been posting here in a few days.

I worked out on the DDR the other day - that was fun. Although I don't like this version as much as I liked the other version. The funny thing is is that with the Wii you use the hand controllers too - and my arms are sore!

I haven't worked out yet, but it sounds like my basement has been taken over by the kids, so I think I will get out a video or the DDR since I haven't exercised today yet.

I went in and subbed again today and get to go back in tomorrow. Then, I got a call from another school for some training since they are a Montessori school.

So I'm staying busy enough.

I also got a call that a good friend of the family passed away. I'm kind of sad about it because I haven't gotten to see him in about 2 yrs. I had written him a card a few days ago, just didn't get it sent out.
But then I'm also glad that he has no more suffering.

WEll off to exercise....

Hi Ya!

Awww...So sorry to hear about that! :hug2:

Thought I'd pop in since we've been chattin' in dance it off thread.. ;)

Hey, the DDR is a great way to burn fat/cals!

~Great Job!~

:)

Have A Great Night -

*Stacy

HI SweatPea,
Sorry to hear about your friend's passing.

Good luck with your exercises. How are you doing food-wise? And you mentioned somewhere medications might be the problems in your weight loss effort. Have you ever find anything out about that?
Hope you are having a good day!!

GO GIRL!

:confused:I heard caffeine stunts your growth, and disables your cells from intaking Nurturance. Is that true?

(by the way.. where I live there are two Montessori Schools, one is private, the other I think is public, i live in canada, ontario. Is that where you go.)

I would as well like to metion how strong your are towards your friend passing away, I hope things are going okay right now, have you got to see the family, is he far away, will you be going to the funeral.

Hi all - yeah things are ok with me about my friend passing away. He has been in so much pain for the last 4 or 5 yrs, it's ok, and it gets to be a relief after awhile - so much worrying in the past. I've got huge faith and I'm good with that.

Nasseny - I can't grow anymore anyway, but there are so many different studies on caffeine, you never know what to believe. I get most of my caffeine from coffee - and studies on that change like everyday! Anyway, I guess if I have one vice it's that. :sigh:

I'm in Indiana - so I guess there are Montessori schools here in the U.S.A. too.

Hajni - I guess I'm just going to keep going with the flow. I haven't talked to the dr. yet. My appt. was changed because she was out of the office - so it's in another couple of weeks now. No biggie. I will just keep exercising. I know my nutrition isn't as tight as it should be - and that's something I have to keep working on.

Stacy - thanks for stopping by, I did stop by your journal, but felt like I was being a stalker, so didn't say HI! :) I will stop by again and say hi - now that you stalked me first. :p

Yesterday I got in 30 min. on the elliptical and then 15 min. with weights - upper body. Not as much as I have been doing, but I was super tired after messing with kiddos all day. They wear you down!!

Anyway, today is a day here at home...relax...watch tv...pet the dog...oh and some exercise...it's all good!

SweatPea, I agree about the coffee. The only time I gave it up is when I was pregnant (wasn't hard, had no cravings for it at all). Not just the coffeine but it is almost like routine to me. I get to work, I make myself a cup and slowly sip it until is gone and I am ready to take the day!! It is so part of my day I would be lost without it!! LOL
And there are studies and counter-studies and more studies, at some point we just all have to make up our minds about what we believe and go with that... :rotflmao:
Have a nice day
Hajni

Well I can't agree more with all the "studies" - I think you just have to make up your own mind anymore.

I did get on the elliptical for 30 min, then worked my abs and stretched for 15 min. Ugh, my right thigh does not want to stretch like it used too. :( I think though with more and more work, I can get back the flexibility.

I've been doing well with eating and getting in my water as well!

Look at that AVI girlfriend, you and Bell are so cute in changing them up and making them so adorable!! I love it! Great job on getting in that exercise even when your not feeling totally up to par!! Keep on doing those stretches as your thigh will eventually work it's way down! Trust me, I had the same problems about a year ago when I started taking this Pilates, Yoga class I thought I was going to break in half, but now it just knows what to do, our bodies take time, so just take it slow!! Did Bell take that pic?? You two I swear should go into photo gallery's or something. LOL :)

Actually I had to take the pic all by myself. But thank you! It took a lot of doing to get that one. ;)

I actually just dressed up for the Halloween challenge - and will probably do the same for our fall fest - but instead of the skirt (in other pics) I will wear jeans.

Anywhoooo -- Thanks!

I love pilates and yoga. I used to be more flexible when I did it more often (at home with videos) and when I was in martial arts. I think that's why my thigh is so tight - because at martial arts we were always pushing the limits.
