Supplements, name yours

so abear, even though GNC Creatine Monohydrate doesnt have creapure in it, you think its good to take?

I also wanted to ask you where I could find some prolab creatine that has creapure. I went to a health food store and I couldnt find what you were talking about. Thanks for all the knowledge!

I would recommend always looking online for supps. DPS usually beats any price I can find anywhere else. I used to buy ABB Adrenaline Stack by the case. My gym would meet the prices I found online and order the supps for me. Just try to deal with the guy who runs your gym. They are usually not too greedy.

quick questions:

1st) Have you guys taken creatine? and if so, any health problems? what were the good things?

2nd) I take creatine after I workout? Why?

3rd) Creatine gives you energy to pump iron and makes ur muscles absorb water. What else does it do?

4th) Can I take creatine with milk? (the instructions said juice or water)

1) yes, i've been taking it on and off since 1995. no problems whatsoever. the good thing is the main reason i take it, it allows you to do more reps with more weight. that combined with good nutrition and plenty of rest/recovery allows for good results.

2) take it after a workout because insulin helps escort creatine into the muscles. take it with your carb/protein shakes post workout.

4) some ppl do take it with milk and say they do fine. experience will best answer that
 
how much creatine do you take a day and do you take it on non-workout days? do you take the same amount on non-workout days as workout days??
 
im envious of all of you guys still taking creatine (i assume that means it works)...i tried it 3 times and it never did a damn thing for me...so i just use budget whey brand protein (great stuff and cheap) and a multivitamin. i think one of these days im going to give NO2 and glutamine a try and see how they work...

from what i've read and heard, NO2 gives you greater pumps. remember how arnold said in pumping iron, "the pump is like cuming."

wow, did i actually type that

but getting a pump doesnt really have anything to do with muscle growth.
 
I tried NO2 and I pushed hard.... I thought it was a complete waste of money.... would rather take something else then buying that again....

I've tried Cell-tech...JUNK too. I bloated up like Mr. Stay-Puff. It's basically a bunch of sugar, creatine and something added to burn a little as you choke it down. Nothing worth the money IMHO. I believe abear said in a different thread that he tried it as well. Look for his response.


1-AD is pro-hormone, check more info for yourself starting here if you like.


I haven't tried it myself, I find Tribex 500 to be all the extra "test" boost I need.
 
Detroit Muscle, what creatine do you take then? if you and abear use prolab im gonna shoot for prolab. and im not gonna even f.u.c.k. with that 1-ad
 
I've done 1-ad. It gave me incredible drive in the gym. It will kill your sex drive though. All I wanted to do was workout and fight.
 
ok all you pros out there. i got some creatine today, and im going to start using it. i got one problem though. the guy at the store says im supposed to load this - take 1 teaspoon 4 times a day for 4 days. then i only use the 1 teaspoon creatine before i work out and i dont use it on off days. is he right? advice ppl??
