Consumed
Lunch: Tuna with whole wheat bread (360 cals)
Dinner: Chicken breast with potato salad (470)
2 cups of green tea w/ sugar (30)
Total Calories: 860

Exercise 20 mins calisthenics (crunches, squats etc): 105 cals burned

Thoughts
Woah, calorie count is wayyy too low today. I think it's because I didn't eat breakfast (I slept in very very late). But I'm not going to binge now to get my calorie count higher. Plus it's almost 9pm. I had tuna for the first time in ages, it was so delish! The perfect lunch. I only needed half the can which is surprising. I took too much chicken for dinner though. Still need to work on portion sizing. Exercised for a bit. Overall a great day :)

Hey we are about the same height and weight :) I'm only trying to get to about 60kgs though (132lbs)
Awesome that you have little treats for yourself for every goal!! I contacted the photographer that did my wedding (she's a good friend of mine) and when I reach my weight goal I'm going to have a pro photo shoot!!
Keep up the awesome work!

@luzdafuzz, thanks. How exciting, a pro photo shoot! You betta work it girl ;)

---
Weighed in at 152.8 this morning :)

Consumed - really bad day!
- Granola cereal (450)
- Chicken burger (540 cals)
- Chocolate (130)
- Soup (40)
- Green tea(20)
- 2 multigrain chips (17.5)
- doritos
- chicken, macaroni salad
Total: 2000

Thoughts I slept in through breakfast again, can't let this become a habit. The chicken burger was really good. Stupid daylight savings time stole an hour from me! On another note I'm no longer considered overweight due to my BMI. Yay! :D

I'm proud of myself for not binging on the chocolate we have here. I only had one serving size (in the past I would have at least 5). I think that if I start eating the proper serving size on the package (instead of taking however much I can fit on my plate) it should help with portion control and weight loss.

Today I ate a lot of random snacks. I know they say you should eat 5 smaller meals throught the day, but I hate doing that because it increased the probability that i will over-eat. I like to stick to 3 basic meals with some snacks in between, but i obviously didn't do that today lol. I ate way more than I wanted to and I really could have done without the chips and chocolate. And now you see my biggest problem --> consistency. Yesterday was really low but still healthy... and today was really high and unhealthy. Tomorrow WILL be better. I'm not quite ready to give up just yet ;)

How many calories are you aiming for in a day? Maybe you're not eating enough and letting yourself get too hungry- like to the point you'll grab and eat anything. I find it easier planning what I'm going to eat the night before according to what I'm doing the next day or where I'll be- keeps me in line!
I wouldn't worry too much about a bad day, they happen... as long as you brush it off and try again tomorrow!

I am also the same weight and height and aiming to get to 135. Your goal is so low and I was just wondering if you have ever been that weight? I'm curious because although 135 is my goal I wonder if I could ever get lower? I'm excited to follow your journal and see your progress - keep it up!

Lucy - Thanks for the suggestion about planning before hand! That's a great idea. And yes I brushed it off, today is a new day. I felt bad for eating all that junk so I probably won't do it any time soon. I aim my calories to be between 1200 and 1500, give or take.

chubbygirl - Yay! I'm so happy that we have the same stats and congrats on losing 12lbs so far. Yes I've been 120 before and I feel like it's my ideal weight. At that weight I still have a little meat on by bones but the slim characteristics I want in my body. Also, I'm allowing some wiggle room so even if I gain some weight back I'll still be in the 120's.

But we are probably built very differently, maybe you will look perfect at 135. I think it's just a matter of losing weight until you feel comfortable in your own skin :)

Intake
Cereal (300)
- Tuna on 2 slices whole wheat bread (350)
- subway 6" (460)
- Acai protein shake (411)
- lots of water, a cup of green tea
- bagel + cream cheese (300)
Total: 1821 calories

Exercise
Walking around campus for quite a bit, 50 crunches

Thoughts Today was a good day :) I got an acai protein shake from Jugo Juice (don't worry, no fads here i just like the taste). It was so expensive, I want to start making my own smoothies and save money - I'll see if I can convince my mom to get a blender.

Hey - welcome to the forum :) I am also 19. I started at 155 lbs last September and now I'm at 133. I am 5'4" though and my goal is 125. So we are quite similar! You carry your weight well - you don't look like you weigh 155. Congrats on the loss so far, looks like you'll be getting your hair done at the salon in no time :D

Thanks!! That sounds great. Yes in the past I would use food as a reward (for example if I ace a test I'll get myself chocolate or a huge combo of fast food) but now I try not to associate emotions with food

Doing good so far today. Gym later tonight, I haven't been there for a week or 2...busy with midterms! But now that midterms are over i'm back on the grind :D

As for eating I'm doing good so far today. and by good I basically mean I haven't over ate lol.

Intake so far
B - Apple, buttered bagel
L - Maple pecan danish

*Lots of tea and water. I also had a small treat because my classmates were presenting and handed out some chocolate. I only had ONE piece and it banished my chocolate craving. Then and there I realized that whether I take one or 20...it all tastes the same. So it's better to take 1 and avoid all the excess calories

I know it looks like i eat not very healthy but to be honest I used to eat MUCH worse than this...macdonalds and other fast food....candy...chocolate...a family size bag of chips in one sitting...yea I know I'm not that big but I still ate a lot of garbage food, up to 3000 calories a day...I used to run long distance and I was sooo skinny but then I stopped running and look what happened =/ anyway ys back to food I am trying to create a LIFESTYLE change slowly for example today I ate an apple during breakfast...I'm just taking it one step at a time so I know it will stick. I know myself and if I'm hooked on McDonalds one day i can't eat only ice crackers the next day...thats cruel and unusual punishment lol...so yeah I'm just slowly changing my habits one step @ a time

I know exactly what you mean... I used to eat pretty much the same as I do now, only a bit lighter during the day... then I'd come home and eat a family bag of chips and half a litre of icecream :smash: I'd probably in a normal week have 4 days of 4000 cals and the rest of the week would be 1200-1500!
