hey! Don't feel bad about 16 minutes. I did exactly that long yesterday too, strange, huh? I only ran for 16 minutes because I was pressed for time. I figured 16 minutes was better than nothing (usually try to do 30)... I haven't gotten a stitch in a long time. Those are awful. I hate them! Watch me now get one at the gym tonite, LOL.

16 mins is definitely better than nothing. I usually run for 25. I can't believe I got a stitch though. I think it happened because I wasn't hydrated enough. It definitely wasn't because I was overworking myself. I was taking it nice and steady.
Sammy - I hope and pray that doesn't happen! Funny that we both ran 16 mins though! Weird.

My study date turned out to be less productive than we had hoped. Kyle and I tend to chat way too much about random crap and get distracted. Every 15 mins it's like "Hey remember the time..." We got 2 chapters covered and we'll get together again tomorrow. The Chemistry section will soon be finished! Wish me luck!

I slept in bigtime this morning. Now my eating will be throw off for the whole day. I'm usually having my morning snack at the time I ate breakfast this morning. Oh well, I guess I won't get as many cals from food today, but I'm planning to have drinks tonight so it's probably for the best. Heehee

Gotta do some more studying today. I'm not excited about it... This is summer! I'm not supposed to have to do anything that requires concentration. Gimme a break!

Bowl of Honey Bunches of Oats with almonds w/ skim milk, glass of apple juice

Lunch
Black forest ham & cheese sandwich on whole wheat, pineapple chunks

Supper
Baked honey garlic chicken breast, spinach salad w/ low-cal ranch, scalloped potato, glass of chardonnay

Snacks
1. Apple
2. 1/2 cup fieldberry yogurt w/ walnuts

One thing that sucks about summer - too many people are missing for the Forum. I want Rachie, Tyly, M, Jenn & PC back. I miss those girls! And of course I miss Randy. Things just aren't the same without him. And there are others as well. Doesn't it feel weird around here when people are missing? Hopefully they'll be around soon.

I hate when people go missing from the forum, but I've been on here long enough that some of the best people on the boards when I started have left. The good thing is I've met some other great people on here since then. I intend to be here for quite some time.

Thanks for writing in mine. It seems like less and less people are, which is fine, but its always nice to know people haven't given up on me and that support I get is greatly needed.

Studying, huh. Yea I hate having summer classes, they are such a drag, especially when you want to be outside swimming, walking, or biking, but your stuck studying and attending classes. I plan to just do Sept through May fourth this year. Gonna take my time getting my bachelors. Than I will see about my graduates. I want to be a librarian.

I love Books!

anyway good luck on your MCATS... I heard there really hard.

That usually works! ;) But it ended up being quite a low key night with only a couple of drinks. Which was still a blast!

Good! Can't have you running away on us. Yeah, it's good to try and seek out new people on the forum, rather than just sticking with the same ones all the time. I feel bad that some new people seem to get ignored and end up leaving because they don't get the support they need. Everybody needs support!

I write the MCAT on Aug 16. :eek: It's gonna be a scary, scary day in my life.

Well, I stayed up way too late last night and slept in way too late today. I had a sleepover with 2 of my girlfriends, which always results in staying up too late and being sinfully lazy the following day. So, thus far I've only eaten a bowl of granola with raisins & skim milk. :confused: But I'm currently baking a chicken breast and am going to make a garden salad to go with it. Yummm.

I agree, I miss those girls!! :( But hey, at leats you're still around :) Oh yeah, and I almost dropped off but I DO have a desk job, so not likely!!!

:p No worries baby! I made a delicious supper tonight and then realized I had no white wine in the house and was very disappointed. :( It would have been marvelous with my chicken.

I know! I think it's going to be really hard. :eek: But I'll just hope for the best. But I'm proud of reaching my original goal, that's for sure!
 
Making your original goal is really an awesome accomplishment. Those of us who have been here for some of your journey are extremely proud. Happy Canada Day.

I love Canada, I really do. I love living in the land of free healthcare, colorful money and gay rights. :D It's really a shame that we have such a lousy prime minister at the moment. But, fortunately, the government does not necessarily make the country. It's bizarre that we have such a conservative PM, yet we remain such a liberal country. Good for us!

I have to work overnight tonight from 3pm-8am. Yes, you read that right... a 17 hour shift. Of course, after 11:30 pm, there will be sleeping involved. :) I'm staying at the dorms with the camp kids tonight. Last week was all prep work. This is the first night that camp actually starts and there will be students there. Should be a fun time!
Anyway, my plan is to go to the gym tomorrow morning when I get off work. I'm considering also going before work today and just making it a light workout... I think I will.

Breakfast
Slice of whole wheat toast w/ light peanut butter, 1/2 cup yogurt, glass of apple juice

Lunch
Garden salad w/ low-cal ranch

Supper
2 slices of pizza (we ordered pizza for the camp kids)

Snacks
1. Cup of grapes
2. Apple, 1/2 cup of yogurt
