SunnyDee's Diary

*drags diary from page 4* things are getting busy around here! Hope you are having a great Tuesday Sunnydee :)

If the B.C. bud is aplenty, the vagabond population will explode.

Be prepared ;)

You look a hydro grower anyway
Haha. Oh that BC bud. It's world-famous, for sure. Just to clarify, despite the contents of the dream I told in your diary, I'm not actually a pot-smoker. lol

i can't wait for these promised pictures....

:D

I wanna see too! :D
They're coming, I promise. I'm building up the suspense!

::: scratches head :::
I'm still not sure if I understand T2!

Is this some strange Newfoundland language?
;)
Nah, just pot-talk :p Newfoundland language would go something like this: "How's ya gettin on me ol' cock? What's ya going at? Down on Garge gettin on 'er tonight or wha? Ya knows b'y!"
Put that in standard English, and I will arrange a reward of some sort! Must be specific too. For example, if you don't clearly identify what "Down on Garge" means, NO PRIZE FOR YOU! (Disclaimer: Prize may have no monetary value)

I just wanted to say hello since we are on the same team.

Spring Flings!
Hello back! Spring Flings rock.

*drags diary from page 4* things are getting busy around here! Hope you are having a great Tuesday Sunnydee :)
Thanks for rescuing me from the depths of page 4. Good grief! Things really are busy.

Expect to see much less of me this week. Classes end tomorrow and I have my first final exam on Monday. So, this week will be dedicated to studying. Booo...

Breakfast
Special K Vanilla Almond w/ skim milk
Cranberry juice

Lunch
3 chicken balls w/ cherry sauce
Beef & brocolli
Vegetable fried rice

Supper
Michelina's Lifestyles herb chicken & penne w/ vegetables
Bowl of grapes

Snacks
1. Fieldberry yogurt
2. A bunch of Mini-Eggs and some little solid chocolate eggs. (My mother showed up today and bought me a bag of Mini-Eggs! Then I get home from the hospital and find a package from my sister which consists of nothing but Easter junk! My family wants me to be fat. I gave a whole bunch of it away to my Mom and roomie. I'll let them get fat instead.)

Ah, exams they can be a pain in the butt. But good luck with them. You'll do fine. Look on the bright side, at least you're at the end of your school year. I still have 5 more weeks.

LOL, Bay Area talk can get interesting. For example, if I said, "Yo, Cutty, How you giggn'?" is like, "Hey friend, you dancing tonight?" .

I can't blame ya. Someone has to take a stab at interpreting it. I'll post the answer tomorrow evening.

Stopping in to say good morning :) Also wanted to say good luck on your exams!!

Jo

Gads, I've tried every translator on the net!
Heehee. You'll never find it. You'll especially never find out what "Garge" means from a translator. I'm surprised the well-traveled trucker doesn't know that one.
The funny part is, I could say that little spiel to any Newfie in the world and and (s)he would know exactly what I was saying, even though most of us don't actually talk like that.

Thanks for the good luck. I need it! The vanilla almond is delicious. The vanilla is pretty subtle. They're aren't eough almonds in it for my liking, but do love it. I never tried the yogurt and berries. I'm a big fan of the red berries one myself.

We had another poster awhile back from New Foundland, but they never posted much. I love Great Big Sea so I get some of the expressions, but very little. Hope you're having a great day.

Hey, I'm not such a tease. I simply don't have enough willpower. :(

Great Big Sea is pretty cool. I like their really traditional-sounding stuff like "The Night Pat Murphy Died". Very fun. lol
