SunnyDee's Diary

Maybe you could venture into foreign movies territory and try checking out their horror films.
That's a great idea. I did try out Japanese horror flicks, but they really didn't work for me. A little too predictable. I could literally sit there and go "Ok, something's gonna jump ouuuttt... now!"

LOL......when i was little i watched "American Werewolf in Lodon" to this day fullmoons and foggy nights still kinda creep me out!!!
I like "American Werewolf in London", but I don't find it scary. I mostly just appreciate it as a classic, the same way I appreciate "Night of the Living Dead" and "Nosferatu".

As for movies - I'm a bad one to give advice, my all time favorite is Gladiator ;)
"Gladiator" is in my top 10, for sure. Maybe even top 5. I love that movie. Joaquin Pheonix was so amazing as Commodus that I couldn't help projecting my feelings towards the character onto the actual man. I actually hated him for a long time and couldn't watch his other movies because I loathed him so much. lol I think that's the only time that has ever happened to me.

Hello! I'm not so good on scary movies but I saw "It" when I was too young and it creeped me out for years too! Hope you are having a good weekend!

Funny story

I know, Rachie. "It" is a truly terrifying movie! I don't care what anyone says!

I can't believe I forgot to tell my crazy story from yesterday. I was coming home from the gym, walking up a busy street that intersects with the street I live on. As I was crossing at the lights, a couple of cop cars drove by. I didn't really think much of it. Then some dude who was stopped at the red light starting honking like crazy and waving for me to not cross. (I still don't know what the purpose of that was. It's not like the situation was dangerous) I kinda looked at him like "What's your problem, psycho? The light says walk, so I'm walking!" So, I crossed the street and turned to start walking up, when I saw a huge moose running in zigzags back and forth across the busy street, with cops chasing him! Hahaha. It was so bizarre! Poor moosey! Apparently he had already been hit by a car before the cops got there and animal control didn't show up for about a half hour. So I guess they euthanized him when they got there, since he was already injured. So I guess it's a funny story with a sad ending...

plenty of brain rest here :)

wow you really do live in canada :) not many places down here you'lll find a moose running around in the street... poor moose :(

Yeah, we'll call it mindless entertainment ;)

I know! I felt very Canadian, watching a moose on the loose in the city. Weird!

Congrats on getting the paper finished SunnyDee :) I know the feeling all too well! Working on another one of my own now :( Weird about the moose! When I am back home in Wales we get stray sheep wandering through our neighborhood but obviously not quite as dangerous as a moose though! Those are some big animals!

Thanks everybody. Papers exhaust me. I just keep reminding myself that the semester is almost over. April 12 can't come soon enough.

Grrr... I'm getting annoyed with the rep system. I try to give lots of reputation, but I've seen that annoying "You must spread some reputation around..." message three times already today. So, if you said something deserving of rep and I didn't give you any, it's not my fault!

I've been slacking off with writing in my daily foods. That's just because I've been incrediblly busy with school work and didn't want to do anything that involved recalling information from several hours back. Be it known that I have been doing very well with my foods though. I didn't eat enough fruit yesterday (only 2 servings), but I did have lots of veggies. And I'm chugging back the H2O, as usual.
TODAY
Breakfast: Granola w/ 1% milk, cran-grape juice
Lunch: Vegetable soup
Snack: Apple, 3 unsalted crackers
Supper: 4 homemade baked fishcakes w/ ketchup
Snack: Small bowl mixed fruit (strawberries, canteloupe, pineapple)

Apparently I'm starting to like fish! I've always liked some other kinds of seafood (crab, lobster, shrimp, scallops), but I never liked any fish. I've been trying to incorporate it into my diet a little more. My roommate made fishcakes today and decided she was going to make some for me too, because she was convinced I'd like them if I just gave them a chance. Turns out she was right and I absolutely loved them. I'm very happy about this because I'm not really much of a meat-eater and fish is a great choice.

Aww thankyou for the Rep points-i've only just worked out how to give them/view them etc-that cheered my morning up :)

A moose

there was about 20 geese blocking my road once hissing at people trying to pass...that was scary enough.

Hope your having a great tuesday :)

Congrats on getting that paper done!!! You wanna come and work on one for me?? I have one requiring 6-8 sources cited coming up at the end of my semester, which ends 1st week of May. Of course then the next classes start end of May. :( ..should I or should I not skip the first summer session.. decisions decisions.

You're welcome! Geese can be terrifying. Holy crap, I'm not kidding! I've been chased by geese before. I have a funny story about a goose. One time in Toronto, my dad and I were in the park and I took a picture of him. When I put the camera down, I saw there was a Canada Goose right behind him, coming with her beak wide open. I was like "Dad, look out! Crazy goose!" When we got the film developed, the goose was actually in the photo, running for my dad. It's a hilarious picture!

I feel your pain. And I'm sorry to have to endure that. However, I absolutely refuse to come do your paper for you. :p Heehee. Good luck with it though. I hope it doesn't stress you out too much. Is there any particular reason why you want to do courses over the summer? Or can they wait?

Good Morning SunnyD :)
Good morning, hunny-bunny! Well, it's the afternoon here now. And a very beautiful one, I must say.

Happy equinox, everybody!

The first day of spring has finally arrived. Felt like it would never come. Now if the weather would just stay nice from this point on, I'd be a very happy woman...
