Summer 2010 challenge

I currently weigh 156 lbs, and my goal is to loose 36 of those by July. Hopefully. However, i know that is hard. Starting tomorrow, I'll start eating healthier and exercising more. To kick start my weight loss I'm gonna do the Hospital Diet. Hopefully I get some quick results that will keep me motivated throughout my diet plan. Anyway, i am excited about this and cannot wait to kick things off :D
 
..you are kidding me right? They are saying that if you follow this you will lose 10 - 17 pounds in a week. REALLY?

Viva, I salute you for deciding to work on your weight. We all are but a diet like this isn't going to kickstart anything. Anything you do lose will just be regained. Proper weight loss is intelligent planning and knowledge. Look around the site and read stickies.

Please use your head and not listen to crap like this. You shouldn't do a diet, you should be making the small changes in your life so you lose weight at a reasonable and healthy pace. 10-17 pounds in one week is NOT either of those. It can be really harmful. Please take time and research this Hospital Diet.

Or are you talking about the Hospital 3 day diet plan or one of the dozen 'hospital plans' I have found.
 
Goals are merely a measurement of what can be accomplished when something is highly desired.

I am up for the challange to reach my goal as well. On Feb 19 I tipped the scale at 223.8lbs. As of this morning, I am sitting at 212.2lbs. My goal is to get down to 175 but 4July2010. That is roughly 16 weeks to lose 37lbs with just over 2 lbs a week. When I look at the overall total as a whole it feels unreachable. However, when I break it down by week, "Oh it's VERY do-able!"

Who else is up for this challange?
