My mom is kinda the same...she will come out wearing an old shirt of mine and say "isn't this the shirt you couldn't wear anymore? I think it looks real good on me!" I want to kill her! lol

Keep your chin up, your doing well and you should be very proud of yourself!
 
man i have a rollerblading mom that does the same to me "oh well ill get my real work out later when i go by myself"(but she aint pushing no stroller with a 35lb kid in it!)grr what pains. posting at curves is a great idea. i hope you find a great one to w/o with you K!

Thanks ladies... i was so freekin hungry last nite when i got home and i had a beer and a half...but ya know i didnt care..I busted tail all day...sometimes its just miller time...or should i say Sam's Summer Ale time :-D
Watched the Biggest Loser last nite..man those people are brave to go on like that and put themselves out there...wow!

Andreas and I watched BL last night,,,( he likes the girl in the cat eyed glasses)..But I have a question...did that guy lose 28 lbs in a week???...What is the time frame?...
 
Yes KC..he did lose 28 in one week...Thats crazy number aye! These people have never dieted however or probably worked out..so im thinkin that maybe why..but they have jillian and the other guy...? bob? killing them on a regular basis. It ticks me off when i see that though and i cant get the scale to move. I love that show though..it inspires me to kick some butt..usually ill workout a bit to it... very cool.
I agree w/ you about my ex workout idiot (LOL you kill me KC!) ...she is mrs skinny blonde now and i can hardly stand being around her at times. I am going back to Curves soon...but its kind of when is more like it. Currently im carpooling on the 2 days I go into the office... so i use our Works gym there and leave w/ the girls... so the other 2 days i work at home and in those situations i would need someone to watch my little one since they dont open early enough in the am for me to get there, workout and get home for my hubby... so im not sure what im doin.
Oh by the way...ill be right over for a brewski... here i come!

Ok food today
B: 2 slices of rye bread w/ jelly , coffee

L: 1 rib & leftover succotash
1 glass of soy milk

S: 1 slice of anadama bread w/ 1 piece of ham & 1 tbsp coleslaw on it

D: 3 oz of haddock oven fried w/ succotash, 1/4 c coleslaw
1 pudge free brownie w/ 1 scoop of vanilla ice cream

1 glass of soy milk before bed

Exercise: 20 min in Bootcamp (my son was my captain..i think he liked that too much)
then we rode our bikes for 20 min
Im going to do about 15 on the elliptical
water; 80 oz
gotta get better on that again!
 
yeah, I had a friend that was close to my weight, at one time years ago, and she went on some crazy starvation diet. And then ate nothing but chips and salsa for a while. Now I think she is a size zero. She thinks shes too good for me now, like when she looks at me she gets disgusted..... WTF she should know where I'm comming from, she was once in my shoes, but she thinks since she did it all fast and crazy, that I can too. BUT here's the thing, something called GENETICS! Her family is on the skinnier leaner side my mom and gramma have curves baby, curvy butt and big thighs. So this is something I may not be able to escape all together but I hink having a JLO body is better than a paper doll skinny ass body anyday!
SO to sum things up, while she is affraid her body is too boyish to wear skirts now (no womanly figure) I am gonna be lookin hot as hell..... hee yeah!
 
work out bitch lmao!!! too funny....im sure youll find a way better buddy in no time. your son sounds like an awesome one to start with. :) bootcamp captain my son would have a field day with that lol
 
Ok...Ive had it w/ the scale...Literally..I am working out everyday hard and Im up like 4 lbs!!! WTF!!!! How is that possible? I dont think my salt intake has been high but maybe its water! I havent been as good w/ my water but still..im working out like an hr to an hr and a half a day! Im really frustrated. The weird thing is my body feels better so go figure. I am ditching the scale for now...for at least a month & then we'll give it a shot again!

my food for yesterday

B: 1/2 cup egg beaters w/ 1 slice of ham, 2 asparagus spears diced, w/ 1 slice of anadama bread w/ sugar free jelly
coffee

S: 1 whole wheat pbj w/ sugar free jelly & 1 cup of soy milk

L: 3 slices of turkey breast w/ salad fixins, 1 pear

S: 1/2 cup leftover succotash w/ 2 oz leftover chic

D: 1 hamburger on a bun w/ veggies, 1 slice of pudge free brownie w/ 1 scoop of ice cream
1 cup of soy milk

water: 80 oz
Exercise: 1 hr at the gym ( elliptical 30min on fat burning interval & treadmill for 15 min) cool down the other 15 w/ a short cool down walk
walked in the evening for 20 min pushing stroller at a good pace

Today so far

B: egg beater scamble w/ 2 asparagus spears, 1 roasted red pepper (diced) 1 slice of ham diced on a whole wheat tortilla w/ 1 oz of cheese
coffee

S: pear

L: salad from friendlies
going grocery shopping ... yuck!

? not sure about the rest so far.

water will be better today...gotta get a new bottle & get my crystal light..I do really well when I have that.
 
Don't get discouraged...do you think its possible you could be gaining muscle with all the excersize?? I'll bet thats the case!
 
Maybe Korrie..I dont know... I am feeling a diff in my thighs and they feel tighter and I think its the jogging and the jumping jacks and stuff...I just need to kick it up the notch...but mostly i think it is a poor water intake ..I normally was takin in 100 to 125 oz...so im slackin
 
well, i've heard people say too that it helps if you shake up your routine...change things around a bit, like what excersizes you do, or the time of day you do it, ect
 
Muscle weighs 2-3 times more than fat but takes up 1/3 the space. So you may weigh the same on the scale but can wear smaller clothes AND you have a better metabolic rate. (You can eat more)
 
First of I just wanted to thank you for reading and writing in my diary...You are so funny....We have the same kind of humor!!!!!..Love it!!!!..lol
I notice that alot of the women here depend, on the scale alot....what about measure ments?...When I was at my first curves...after 3 months I had gained close to 3 lbs. I was soo upset because I had been working out like a saint and watching pretty good what went into my mouth......BUT then they measured me and I had went DOWN in inches!!!....So NewBride is right about gaining muscle!!!
Now I know it is hard for a person to measure themselves correctly...but Curves has teamed up with Avon and in book 20 they have a one hand button self measurement tape. It is only 4.99....Plus drinking that water really helps..maybe you can take just ONE water pill for ONE day and see if that helps.......or maybe you need to go see Santa.....lol
 
If your seeing a diffrence in your body then thats great! ditch the scale for a while, go by how you feel. water makes a big diffrence and shaking up the routine is a good idea. :)
 
Yeah..I dont know..Right now im PMSin like a crazy women and could easily become a terrorist if someone just handed me some fire power...you ladies know the mood im talking about. I havent had sex in like 2 weeks..or should i say good sex! You know the kind that last more than 15 min and includes some foreplay... my H seems to think low maintenance means less foreplay..Ive got news for King Dingaling...it doesnt. I may not care about SOME things..but that i do care about. Im thinkin I need to start "withholding" some things i do until i see some reaction on his part... and i guarantee there will be!
Ok enough raving.

Snack after lunch was 15 thin triscuits w/ 2 tbsp soy cheese

D: 1 cup of spag. squash w/ sp sauce & diced peppers and onions w/ 1 chic/apple sausage diced. a glass of soy milk

After dinner looks like im doin a glass of wine so that i stay nonhomicidal tonight :-D

Water..way better: 100 oz
1 cup of decaf green tea

Exercise: 1 hr: 45 min fat burning video w/ 15 min cool down & stretches

Good weekend lots of exercise & even cleaned our basement... very productive...good on the food too

started my period..yippy kayyay... but! I was told by 3 seperate people that i look to be losing more weight all of a sudden..I was like ...oohh yeah!

B: oatmeal w/ raisens, 1 tbsp brown sugar, 1 slice of anadama bread w/ margarine
coffee

S: 1 banana

L: 1 whole wheat grilled chic sandwich w/ veggies
1 glass of soy milk

S: 1 low sugar PBJ on anadama bread, 1 glass of soy milk

D: 3 small chic tenders grilled (no breading) w/ veggies, 1/2 cup of risotto

probably do something sugar free or some fruit tonight...

Green tea : 2 cups decaf
Water 90 oz

Exercise: 1 hr at the gym.... did 30 min on elliptical on fat burning intervals, did 15 min on treadmill
walked & cooldown the rest

D: hey look...chili again... 2 small bowls w/ 1 slice of homeade corn bread
2 sugar free pepp. patties

2 cups of green tea
90 oz of water

Exercise: none really... worked on my basement..so that counts..all the lifting & up and down the stairs im sure!

Today

B: 1 bowl of oatmeal w/ handfull of raisens, 1 slice of anadama bread
coffee

S: protein shake

not sure about the rest

Exercise: went for a 20 min walk/ jog this am w/ my son... also going for a long walk this afternoon w/ the baby & my mom
