Sticking to it!

Ok todays been good
Went shopping today stocked up on loads of fruit + veg etc, only unhealhy thing in my shopping basket was a pack of Blue Ribbons (chocolate bars with only 99 calories) :D
Been really ill the past few days like feeling tired, light headed and sick. People keep saying its maybe because I'm eating too little but I've eaten much more than I normally would this last week. Anyway have bought some multivitamins + iron just incase I'm lacking. If I'm not feeling really tired in the morning will do some exercise. Hopefully my gym membership comes through the post in the next few days!
 
Today I'm feeling a bit better. Just drinking a glass of prune juice as I'm feeling a tad bunged up due to my three day binge over the weekend.
Gonna try and eat mainly fruit and veggie's today just to refresh my system a bit. Have apples, pears, strawberries and lots of different veggies in the freezer :)
Gonna also attempt at least 20 minutes on my mini stepper if its still not squeaking!
 
My body has finally decided to relax again!
Whether it was the prune juice or the large amounts of alcohol I drank last night, I don't know. It's weird after I've been drinking I always wake up skinnier, you'd think it would be the opposite?
Yesterday I did really well in terms of food, had country crisp cereal, light choice's chicken and broccoli, and steamed veggies in honey mustard sauce. Then for snacks had strawberries, an apple and one blue ribbon (only 99 calories)

Today I've had weetabix with semi skimmed milk and a healthy living paella with chicken and prawns. Later for dinner I'll probably have a big plate of veggies or soup or something. Then munch on my apples in-between!
So glad I'm finally back on track and my gym membership should come any day which I will start on monday for 2 weeks!
 
Ate a chinese and drank yesterday but still woke up feeling ok :)
Had the chinese about 2.30 and then just had a few crackers and an apple in the evening as I knew I wouldn't be hungry
Think its this prune juice you know! Been drinking it for the past few days and I swear by it keeps everything working nicely :p

Hehe, you actually just get dehydrated from the alcohol, so you will weigh less. Nice to think of it as skinnier though :D

I've been doing quite well with my snacking recently, eating fruit if I'm peckish. Especially strawberries and apples.
Also discovered these new veg packs you can buy. Not sure if McCain's is just an english brand but they've launched a new express range which is veg you can microwave in 5 minutes and comes in a low fat sauce e.g. Broccoli, red peppers and soya beans in a tomato and herb sauce or baby carrots and green beans in a honey and mustard sauce.
I love them and they're so easy to make!
Still drinking my prune juice and adding apple juice, not too much. Just a little bit every day seems to make me feel better :)

Also went out for lunch today for a friends birthday to a traditional english pub. Was very tempted by a big roast dinner and chocolate fudge cake! I was strong though and had lemon and garlic chicken skewers with roasted vegetables and a tea afterwards :) Very proud of myself as I usually would have though ohh its a special occassion what the heck!
Have my last exam tomorrow and then I'm finished uni for the year! Gonna go and join the gym with my two week pass so hopefully this is a good few weeks.
I already know I'm gonna be drinking a lot, however lately I've switched from my favourite (cider) to a spirit and low calorie mixer. I know I should cut it out but after the next two weeks I'll be home and hardly drinking at all.

Unfortunately its not always like that, or I wouldn't have a problem!
Feel like I've lost weight this week though, been really good with my food. Todays normally my cheat day (or the point where I loose all self control day) but hoping it wont be too bad. Going to my friends house for lunch whos cooking an Indian meal which will end up being my main mean of the day. And despite the sauce it will be chicken and rice so its better than any silly takeaway I might of had.
Haven't joined the gym yet cause I've had a hectic week and also I'm a bit sunburnt which means when I move normally it hurts! So can't see me on a bike or elliptical just yet but think I've compensated by being really good with my food!
 
Im quite proud of myself this week.
Haven't overeaten since last Friday :D and won't be doing that today as I really don't wanna ruin my progress. It's strange though I've drank quite a lot this week (its my last two weeks of university) but it hasn't affected my weight at all which is good! Gonna weigh in tomorrow morning finally, haven't done it in ages since I always have a binge just before the weekend which is the only time I can weigh myself so hopefully I can finally change my ticker woop woop!
Hope I can make this last, going to tenerife in a month and would be great if I could reach or be near my goal by then.
 
Woohooo! Finally got to change my ticker after ages of not weighing myself. Gone down 2 pounds which is a relief. Think I'm one of them people who has to be careful about having cheat days as its extremely easy for me to put on weight since I'm only trying to loose a small bit. Gonna do my best this week aswell, I know I'll be drinking but I'll be really good with my food like lots of fruit and veg and try not to eat out very much.
So glad its finally changed :D Should be able to reach my goal now, go on holiday a month from today so thats a pound a week. I can do it!


P.S. Sorry I haven't had much time to post in other peoples diaries lately been a very busy few weeks, but will start again soon!

Ok I'm gonna have a McDonalds today but there are a few reasons for it lol
Basically I'm going to a concert from 2 till 9pm where there will only be fast food on offer as we won't be allowed out of the stadium. So this McDonalds is gonna have to last me from about 1pm till the rest of the day as we are not allowed to take food in!
Already had my breakfast which was about 400 calories (country crisp cereal - big bowl!) and from Mcdonalds gonna have Quarter Pounder Cheeseburger meal which is 820 calories. So all in all about 1220 calories so very close to my daily goal. Usually after I have Mcdonalds I feel full for the rest of the day aswell. Its weird I was gonna have a chicken burger but it actually has more calories!!
It also helps that I can keep track of my calories by not eating at the stadium instead.
 
cheeseburger meal has 820 cals?! Wow, that's actually less than i thought, what with the chips and everything. Now i'm getting ideas....lol.
 
Haha I know! I was suprised it has less calories than most of the chicken burgers, maybe its the mayo or something?
But that did keep me going all day so don't feel too bloated or anything today :)
Had a maaaassive bowl of cereal this morning so still not hungry, but gonna try and eat something soon maybe vegetable soup. Drinking tonight as its an end of year thing, theres gonna be chocolate fountains and stuff but gonna try and stay away from it, i prefer solid chocolate anyway. And will be dancing lots! Looking forward to another loss by Saturday!
 
I'm actually really proud of myself. I've been drinking alot but trying not to cheat on my food. I know I shouldn't really be drinking but it is my last week at uni and after this week I will probably hardly drink at all! Max once a week, but yeah definitely feel like I'm losing so actually looking forward to stepping on the scale this week providing I don't binge any time soon! I feel like my attitude has changed alot aswell, rather than constantly thinking about my next meal now I just think about it when I'm actually hungry :)

Four weeks till my holiday!!
 
I ate quite alot yesterday but just calculated my calories and was actually within my target :)
Was walking round London all day but tried to make healthy choices still had my normal breakfast (weetabix and semi-skimmed milk 200 calories) then went to pizza express and they do this new healthy kind of pizza which has a whole in the middle with salad in it and is under 500 calories, then had a desert that was low fat frozen yoghurt and strawberries which was only 180 calories so not bad for eating out! Then had a chargrilled vegetables wrap from M & S (260 calories) and later on had a special K bar which is 90 calories. I did then of course drink but stuck to vodka and diet coke and was walking for about 5 hours round London which is alot more than I usually do!

I know genius! And its was actually sooo nice and I didn't feel guilty afterwards.

Feeling a bit bloated today even though I've eaten well all week, so decided to look at pictures of curvy women in bikinis lol and come across some pictures of Coleen Rooney. For those of you that don't know shes a famous footballers wife over here. But unlike the others she looks like a real women
This has made me feel so much better about wearing a bikini when I go on holiday and I know I don't need a washboard stomach. Still wanna get to 115 but I'm not gonna worry about it as much as I have been.
Will weigh in tomorrow if I feel better as I feel too bloated and hopefully I'll be one pound nearer, if not I'll wait till next week :)
 
Woke up feeling a bit better today, didn't weigh myself though as I still feel like there's a lot in me so gonna weigh myself on Friday morning when I'm home again.
3 weeks tomorrow till my holiday so every time I feel like bingeing gonna focus on that.
Had my cereal this morning and thinking about either having my roast dinner which will probably be the only other things I eat today or some smaller meals. Roast dinner is a sunday thing though and has a lot of vegetables so I'm not sure what to do hmmm?
 
Ahh haven't had a great two days. Went out for dinner with the boyfriend yesterday and had a huge pizza and chocolate cake, then today had an indian. However I'm a firm believer everything happens for a reason and before I tuck into my yummy chicken tikka I decided that I'm not gonna eat any takeaways up until I go on holiday also that I'm going to try my best to give up sugar.
It's exactly 3 weeks today till my holiday and want to feel as good as I can when I'm there. So rather than complaining and feeling guilty I'm trying to think of this as a good thing!

Going shopping tomorrow so that will involve lots of walking around. Going to attempt to eat only fruit and vegetables just for tomorrow just to make my insides feel a bit better!
Then I'm working Friday and Saturday this week so lots of walking up and down stairs for 5 or 6 hours.

Aims
Eat healthily - as much fruit and veg even if I don't always feel like it
Exercise - I cut down but gonna try and do bits here and there if i have time
Sugar - have to cut it out! Once I have one chocolate or buiscut I don't stop (this ones gonna be so hard!)
NO TAKEAWAYS - if I try and justify it on here, put me in my place!

21 days and counting, it really is crunch time now. I'm sure I can do this if I really focus.

Hehe, I decided to give up sugar this morning, what a co-incidence (well maybe not, I guess we ARE on a weightloss forum :p )

So we can do this together! Day 1, so far so good! I am also only drinking green tea and water today, whoop!
