Stickin' to it

Hi Photocrazed. I followed you over from Lemon's diary. :) I thought, wow, what a pretty girl. ;)

But then, I was just reading thru your diary and see that you are doing p90x. How's that going for you? And, how long have you been doing it?

Oh my god! I'm glad you overcame you facial disfiguration!!! LOL. That a great goal picture. I certainly didn't look that good my senior year! You are one hot momma then AND now. Keep it up. We'll get the rock hard abs together (although somehow I feel the urge to laugh when I think of ME ever having rock hard abs). Keep up the great work. You'll get there!

LOL. At first I was trying to figure out what in the world you were talking about, then remembered my artwork on the photo. hehe. Thank you so much for the compliments.

Hey Tasha,

Sorry to hear about the soreness in your calves. When I started my first leg routine at the gym last year my calves got so sore, it was probably the sorest I've ever been in my life. My calf muscles were so tight I thought they were going to snap off the backs of my legs, lol.

In that picture you look pretty smokin'. Very toned and athletic looking.

-Sam

Thanks for your compliments, Sam. I'm hoping that I can make it back to a similar look. I also hope that my legs get better sooner rather than later. I'm having a terrible time with them so far.. and it's the front part of my legs. :(

Very nice picture! You do look very toned and athletic!

Your menu always makes me drool...

:)

Tyly, I'm sure you are looking pretty dang toned yourself right now. And let me know if you want any of my recipes that you think look good. I'll do my best to get them for you. =)

Aww, Thank you so much Sweatpea! I started the P90X routine the latter part of last year, but now only really follow their ab workout. It totally kicks my ass, especially now with running, walking, and my lower leg workout. I'm not sure if you are doing the P90X or not, but their ab routine works the entire core system, so it's not just abs, it works hip flexors and such too.

If you make it through the routine, you will have done like 350 or so reps because you do 25reps for each exercise and there are about 12 or so exercises. OW OW OW .. my abs are really sore for days following it. :(

I haven't done the p90x yet, but I was looking into purchasing the program. I then decided to go a different route until I get back into shape (at least to where I know I can handle the p90x routines.) So it's good to hear that you still use the program even after a year.

Sounds like you are doing excellent with your exercise and food.

LOL, facial disfiguration! That's hilarious!! I've never had rock hard abs, but you know, maybe one day.

Tash you looked SO RIPPED at 130. I certianly do wish you get there again. In fact, I have the utmost faith that you WILL. We're all in this together honey.

Oooh pizza. That is definitely is my Achilles Heel food. Pizza should be one of the seven deadly sins... blizzards aren't far behind either.

I'm not sure how I pulled this one out of me arse.. but the scale this AM said...

157.8 I think I'm going to pass out. I definitely am not going to continue the pizza and blizzard diet though. haha

Write more when I get back from my meeting.

Oh wow Tash!! You ate all of that and STILL lost a pound! That's amazing. Congratulations, honey! I'm so proud of you.

Don't let the above list put you down. So you had fun eating for the past two days, relish in it, embrace the fact that you got to eat a peanut butter blizzard, and then let it go.

But you know what? You'll be doing so much cardio this week that your body will forget you stuffed it with so much grease.

Awesome hon, that you lost the weight regardless. Tells you that your exercising regimine is working!!

Big hugs to you, sweetie!

Big hugs to you, sweetie!

Thanks so much Rachel.

I just finished up todays W2D3 C25K and did 2.5 miles in 30 minutes. Not too shabby I guess.

I took some "in between photos" but I haven't gotten the kahoonas to post them yet. heh. Maybe once I get a little smaller I'll do that. =)

I'm goign to start posting all my food on Thedailyplate.com and using their system because I'm not sure I'm getting enough calories or if I'm eating too many some days because I don't keep a strict calculation of it. So, here's to trying to do that. =)

Wow Tash - just looked at your goal picture.

I'm so jealous - I've never been that toned in my life! (I'm soft - all over - always have been!)

I know you'll get there - probably sooner than you think. And as far as those rock-hard abs, if you keep rocking your workout like you're doing C25K - those abs will be there before you know it too!

Awesome job getting back on track today. I saw your post in the C25K thread - 7.0 mph - good for you! I'm still chugging along back at 5.0 mph!

5.0mph is better than 4.9mph, and guess what.. speed can increase over time. I'm sure I wouldn't be going this much if I hadn't already been walking/running/biking back in January and February before I started. =)

Thank you for the compliments. I just would LOVE to see those pink shorts again (on my body) hehe.

2.5 in thirty minutes is not shabby at all!! Great job, Tash.

Yeah, I'm not perfectly strict on mine either. But I can recognize whether or not I've ate enough on the days I run. If I've only eaten 900 cals by six, I'll load up on at least 700 cals in carbs before I go downstairs. I'm really not going to worry about not getting enough calories until I start feeling negative physically. Right now, I'm doing just fine and that's A-okay with me.

I hope Thedailyplate.com works better for you. It really is important to have a well rounded nutritional food intake.

You're really impressing me with all your cardio Tash, keep it up honey!!

You better just watch it, missy! Pretty soon your weight loss is going to leave mine in the dust. At this rate we won't be alter egos. Fantastic work! I am very jealous. I'm soooo tempted to jump on the scale tomorrow but I'm going to hold out for my weigh in on thursday. LOL. You better hope I catch up...or else...or else...I'm not visiting your diary! *sticks tongue out with hands on hips* Congrats!

Weight Update Tuesday: 157.0 Woohoo. :sifone:

Ok so, I didn't get to the gym last night like I wanted, but well, it's ok. I spent way too much time doing homework and reading (shouldn't have put it all off to the end of Spring break week). By the end of the evening, my head was throbbing so badly I wasn't sure if I would ever get to sleep. I have had to use excedrine twice this week, which is the most I've had to use it in about 1.5 months. I'm thinking because of reading.. I hope.

Todays Food:
Kashi Go Lean 1 Cup
1/2 C skim milk

Lunch:
Arnold sandwich bun wheat
2 tbls organic natural chunky pb
2 tbls low sugar jelly
1/2 banana

2.5 in thirty minutes is not shabby at all!! Great job, Tash.

Thanks, and you are very impressive yourself! Maybe sometime in the next year I'll run 5.5-6 miles straight. Haha.

oh come on.. weight tomorrow.. or today even. heh. (I'm a terrible influence sometimes) :reddevil:

I'm sure with all your hard work yours is going to be fantastic too! And I promise I'll cry if you don't visit me anymore. WAAAAAAAH.. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH and let me tell ya, it gets annoying after a while ;) LOL

Congrats on the weigh-in! That's terrific! Sorry about your headache from all the homework and studying. I know I will be in that boat when I start school up again next Jan. or so.

That sucks that it's the front part of your legs that hurt. Back when I first started doing plyometrics I would get shin splints and they were very annoying, and very tender. No fun at all :(

Take Care,
Sam
