Starting Over

OMG Annabelle is just gorgeous! And whata cake lady. Absolutely beautiful. So just checking in on my good buddy Amy. You're looking really well and I'm so pleased to see you're into the 150's, that is just incredibly great news! What have you been doing to lose about 5 lbs there. The meds helping still? I mean you were always so disciplined to begin with..

So have you cut Annabelle's hair at all? It looks like you've at least clipped teh bangs. I did Angeline's ends once, but the curls keep it looking much shorter than it is so I thought that might be the case with Annabelle. She is just so cute! Reminds me of my little girl HAHA being as they're the same age, with brown curls.
 
Aww...Annabelle is so cute. Her hair looks like it's got a bit of a reddish tint to it. Maybe it's just the lighting. You also look gorgeous. I agree with Claudia that the cake was fantastic. You didn't make it yourself, did you?

Are you crazy painting your kitchen when you've already got more than enough on your plate? You a masochist or what?? :D

Hey Claud!! So good to hear from you! The party was great, and I got the cake at a local bakery that specializes in unique gourmet cakes. They are friends of mine so they always make my cakes and cut me a deal with the price. You should have seen my wedding cake, amazing.

I'm watching my calories still. My thyroid dose has changed plus I'm twice as busy with Sean gone so I think both has contributed to the weight loss. I'm not getting to work out as much as usual but I think I make up for it with all the extra tasks I have now (lawn care, errands, caring for Bella, chores, etc.). I'm so tired and busy in the evenings that I don't even feel like eating dinner so I usually force down some salmon and leave it at that.

I've had Bella's hair cut once but it keeps growing! It's actually past her shoulders but you can't tell because it's so curly. La nena and Bella do resemble each other with the dark curls and darks eyes. Both beautiful little girls!!

Thanks BB! Bella's hair has a reddish tint if the sun hits it just right. Otherwise its just dark brown, like her eyes. No, I didn't make the cake but I do enjoy making artistic cakes like that when I have the time, which is never lately. Maybe I'll make her cake next year...

I started regretting painting the kitchen after just the first coat of primer!! It was brutal, I had to stay up every night until 1am to finish before Bella's party. I couldn't do anything until she went to bed and that's usually 8:30. It's done now and looks great. I'm completely renovating it, but I will be hiring someone to do the rest. I am replacing the countertops, backsplash (with glass tile), the appliances, the flooring and installing crown moulding. It should look amazing when I'm finished. I hope...
 
Ugh..don't even talk to me about kitchen remodeling..lmao. I'm soooo ready for mine to be done. Take before and after pics so we can see the change. :) My countertops are being installed tomorrow and I'm scared I'll hate them once they're in. It's so hard to tell from a little swatch what the big picture will look like. But everyone who's seen the swatch says they'll turn out fine. I sure hope so!

What color did you paint the kitchen?

Yeah, I don't enjoy it either. Plus the kitchen is sooo expensive to renovate. I painted it an "olive gray" color. It looks great with "burnt orange" and tan accent colors. The backsplash tile will look great with the walls.

Be sure to take pics of your place too!
 
I'm still here! Things have been crazy lately with Sean gone. By the time I get home from work, feed and bath the baby, play with her before bed then cleaning and laundry, I barely have the energy to get on the computer to see what my lovely ladies are up to. The weight is holding at 158-160 right now regardless of my calories staying between 1200-1500. Sooo this week is a "refeed" week. I'm eating 1800-2300 each day for a week then dropping them again. I hope to drop 10lbs by December 12th, gotta work my ass off!!

Headed to Ohio this weekend for my stepson's birthday so I'll be out. I will check back in next week with everybody. I really need to be on here more often, I need your support as well as your companionship!! It's lonely without my Sean here to snuggle and grope!

Keep the faith, girl. Only a few months until Sean's back. Then you can grope him to your heart's content. :D Is he going to Ohio with you? Where in OH? It's not so far from me, too bad we can't meet up.

Hey everybody! I'm dropping back in for a fly by update. Nice to hear from you Shannon. Looking pretty hot in the pic. COngratulations on surpassing your weight loss goal.

BB, we go to Columbus, OH to see my SS. How far is that from you? We all are definitely gettin gtogether next spring or summer!!

NOt much going on here. I am am my refeed and back down to 1400 calories a day. Been changing up my workout too so I hope I start seeing results on the scale soon. I'm going hiking after work tomorrow and am soooo looking forward to it. I need a stress reliever in a very bad way. Other than that, nada. It's pretty lonely without Sean here and work kinda sucks right now. I'll elaborate more later this weekend. I have to go get everything ready for tomorrow and take the garbage out to the street. It's exhausting being the man and woman of the house!!! TTYL this weekend!! Have a happy friday!
 
Okay okay okay. Here's some update pictures. Sorry it took so damn long to post. The first 4 pics were taken today and the last was a year and a half ago. Only one current body shot and the rest are head shots. I can see the difference in my face quite a bit especially at my jawline (as seen in pics). I think I was 175 in the before pic and am now 157-158 and in much better shape.
