OMG, Amy is so BEAUTIFUL! And you're really good at hair straightening. I finally did mine myself last week as I didn't feel like running out to the salon for a blow out when my sis was visiting. It came out decent, not great, and it was a real pain in the ass so not sure I'll be doing that again.

BB, I check in on your diary periodically too. I've just been really busy with moving and my sis and her 2 kids just came to visit for the past week. I'll check in on you and my diary shortly.

Hey Little Miss Running machine! How was your weekend?? I'm BEAT today! We had severe storms last night and tornado's, so needless to say I was up all night long! I can't sleep when it's possible it's heading in my direction and it was straight for us, however in an hours time it shifted northeast, so we just missed it, THANK GOSH! However, with tornado sirens going off every few hours who the heck could sleep. OIY! I'm going to try my best to take my Group Jam class and my circuit training, but I'll be out like a LIGHT when I get home, they say more storms later tonight too, damn this OK weather! It's muggy here! Did you get any your way?? I know your a bit South east of us. Well, I hope we have a great week I have a feeling I might hit a great new loss this week, I"m crossing my fingers! OH and the winery was FANTASTIC!! have a great week miss thang!

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I have a CHI for straightening my hair and I spray on a leave in condition beforehand to help relax the curls. I wish I had the time to just go have it blown out but I'm just too busy right now. My hair is almost always curly because of teh hassle. I didn't know you had curly hair though. I'd like to see a pic of that. I'll bet it's gorgeous!

Kimmy!!! I've missed you!! My weekend was pretty uneventful except for Saturday night. My friend and I went out for dinner at Boscos (YUM!) and then to a bar to have a few drinks and listen to a cover band play. Our husbands got together and watched the kids while enjoying a movie and a beer. Other than that I stayed home because of the bad weather. We had rain and storms here all weekend and they here all week too. Unless it stops for awhile in the evenings, I will be doing all my running indoors. How was Ladies Night Out?

I may not see a loss this week. TOM finally came yesterday so I felt like crap and didn't watch my cals, didn't feel like it. I am back to 1400 today as usual and plan to work my ass this week in the gym, but with all this water retention and feeling gross, I don't know how the scale will treat me.

Oh well, I have lost 7lbs since starting the new med so I'm happy to see ANY loss.

And guess what??? Looks like you and I are on the same time of the month. LOL LOL I just had aunt flo show up about 30 minutes ago, GOOD that means by Wed she will be gone, and HOPEFULLY a good weigh in will occur for me this Friday morning.!

The ladies night event was AWESOME! we had a great time and stayed in a local town Inn instead of driving home after all that wine. The food, entertainment, company and wine were all Top notch! We made great friends with the owner of the winery who has invited us back to stay at her place the next time. And the town commissioner offered us the same kindness, I guess you can't get any better than that! Man do I feel bloated! and not much like jumping around doing group jam either, DANG IT! I hope that changes before 5

Aunt Flo is a bitch and I hate her right now. I was two weeks late this time and the ickiness is much worse. Bleh!! I am going to have to summon the force to get my ass in the gym tonight!

The wine tasting sounds like it was a blast. I wish we had event like that around here but the closest winery is 3 hours away. I need to come over to OK some weekend and join you!

The damn scale said 168 this morning so I may not post a loss this friday. I think it may have been the little binge on sunday and possibly the 3 beers I had on saturday night. I drink Fat Tire and I'm pretty sure it's loaded in calories since it's a darker beer and pretty strong. Calories were 1390 yesterday and I'm at 1107 so far today and I've already had dinner. I'll probably have a turkey stuffed pita pocket for a snack before bed to get them a tad higher.

I got a 75 minute workout in last night and burned 600 calories by the end of it. I'm not sure how many I continued to burn after I took off my HR monitor, but I know I was still cooling down. I got 40 minutes of cardio and 35 minutes of weight training (full body). I plan to get another hour in tonight here at home. Sean's flying and Bella is sleeping so I will be able to burn some cals.

I hope so. I have a new goal to meet. I am going on a float trip on April 26th with my office and I will be in a canoe most the day and hiking and swimming the rest. I'd like to get down to the 150's by then. 159 is fine as long as I'm officially out of the 160's before the trip. That is 8lbs in 4 weeks so it may be doable. I'll be busting my ass to reach it!

You are such a beauty and more importantly, have an amazing personality and I love you to death. You're seriously one of the most amazing people I've ever met and it sucks ass that you don't see that about yourself in a way that allows you to be ok with 168 on the scale.
I know we both have our mommy issues and sometimes I wish we could just stick both of them in a box somewhere and just move on. I think at that point the scales would no longer be an issue... Just remember that you're not her, and that right now, just the way you are, you're stunning.

Aw thanks sweetness! My mommy issues are getting better. Since our LONG talk, she is learning that I am not going to change to please her.

And trust me, after the past year, I am VERY pleased with 168. I really want to be back in my old clothes though, feel like my old self.
