We're playing sardines....ever play that game? One person hides and everyone else has to find them so that in the end you're all squished into a tiny place...its fun.
 
okay, I weighed in today, even tho im suppose to weight until friday, and I weighed in at 284 :( It just keeps goin up...i think its because of TOM this time though :( he should be here tomorrow. But still, I am getting soooo discouraged!!! I am so close to giving up...I am gonna move my ticker again...in the wrong direction again, BUT, hopefully it will go back down my next week :-/ We'll see.....its really hard getting motivated again :( I hope it turns out better :) Well, ttyl, byee~

welcome to the forum, and DONT GIVE UP! There are a number of factors that could be leading to the weight fluctuation like water weight! so give it a good week before you start thinking it wont work!

hey don't worry about weight fluctuations, just 2 days ago, I was at 193.8, but I gave it a few days, and the weight is now at 191.6. So, it's pretty easy for the weight to go up and down in the same week. i mean, look at wrestlers, to make weight, their coaches wrap them up in the warmest things they can get their hands on, and tell them not to drink anything all day, and only eat a little!

Don't be down on yourself. keep your chin up! You can do it!

First I want to say, welcome back to posting. Coming here, giving and getting support and encouragment is a GREAT way to stay focused!

Now...we all know that there are daily weight fluctuations...a lot of things cause that - if seeing those fluctuations effect your motivation level, then maybe you need to put the scale in the closet until Friday and leave it there.

What is your eating/food plan?
Have you gone to or ? If you aren't already, you might consider setting up an account and tracking your food - you might find that you're going over what you think you're having, or that your sodium might be high, or your fiber is too low.

If you are using Spark or Fitday, and if your numbers are looking good, then maybe you need to try cycling your calories.

Emily, you CAN do this! You are WORTH doing this for. It's a lot of hard friggin work sometimes, but you DESERVE to live a healthy life - you just have to work for it.

As T2 says, keep fighting the good fight. As time goes by, you WILL see results!
 
okay, i changed my ticker...AGAIN!!!! I think this one may motivate me....a little, because with every pound I lose, the fish gets further and the shark starts showin up, its cute, I can't wait til we all can see it :D

his NEMO costume for Halloween it is so darn cuite we are getting
another year out of it.

Are you taking your measurements as well?
Even though that scale might not move or even move up, you could still be losing alot of inches!
I know that's what it's gonna be like for me.
I haven't been losing alot of weight these past few weeks, but every 2 weeks, I'm gonna be taking my measurements and the last time compared to the first. I've lost alot and it's really encouraging :)

thanks everybody!!!! oh and also, does anybody have any workout plans they are willing to share? I havent been walking hardly at all, and I really need to keep exercising, so i am desperate for some workouts!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE share, thanks!!!!
 
PS~I have tried measuring, and I have lost about 5 inches, and I hope I keep losing more, even tho the scale says I have gained weight. and tammy, yes, the scale is my friend, but he lies!!! lol, he tends to be more of a friend with my water weight, than me, lol :p
 
for a workout plan.. just try dancing in you bedroom... 30 - 45- 60 minutes of shakin' your booty will do wonders... and it's fun too.. :D

lol, dancing is very fun! I like to pretend like rockstar, more of a pop dancer though, lol. So, yea, that sounds great, thanks! If u know anymore, let me kno! Thanks lots Mal, u always seem to have an answer for most thigns! :)
 
Congrats on doing so well!

I have a real hard time keeping workouts interesting.

One of my favorite recent exercises has been hula hooping. Target sells a dance hoop that is heavy and designed for adults that comes with a video. It's kind of unusual and fun.
