Hey Stan!! I know how you like it, so I stopped by to shake my pom poms for ya! :D :D :D *OHD shakes and shimmies her way out of the thread*

Thanks again for the shake OHD, you know I love it so much :D

Well, today I got a bit angry with my subconciense. I went to the bathroom this morning and thought "Why am I doing this? There's no difference, I might as well give up".

I don't know why I thought it, but fortunately I managed to push it to the back of my head and reminded myself of what I've achieved already, of how my clothes are starting to feel baggy and of that shirt I want to wear on the office xmas bash that's almost ready to fit me again. I guess it's times like that that can lead to cheating on yourself.

But I beat it :D . I might stick my subconciense on ebay or something to get rid of it now. For Sale, one subconciense, slightly used, rather twisted, may lead to self destruction if left unchecked.

Anyway, back to business. Today's food has been...

Brekkie - weetabix 210
lunch - soup, dunkin bread and an apple 330
snacks - apples 100

leaving me with 640 cals so far. BUT, I'm treating myself to fish and chips tonight after I've been out (soft drinks only, zero cals). If I have a small amount of chips, only eat the fish and not the batter and have mushy peas and a couple of pickled eggs (yum), it apparently comes to 770 cals.

which will leave me on 1410 cals for the day.

todays exercise was the 1.6 mile work walk which was once again done in the company of the same girl as yesterday. she's not been very well recently so asked me to walk slower meaning it wasn't a noteworthy time. She'll not be there tomorrow, so I can zip along as fast as I like - might even do 2 laps.

I also received an invite to go with a friend to the gym. I said I needed to shift a bit more weight first but that I'd be up for going around the springtime.

I'm off out in a bit so I need to go and get ready, which means I wont have much time to visit other diaries tonight :( i promise to catch up tomorrow night though when I'm in all night long.

thanks for dropping by and happy thanksgiving day to all you stars and stripes type peeps :)

QUOTE]

HeHeHe...cute... that happens we all start doubting ourselves at one point or another...for me when I start noticing the progress is when I start freaking out and self sabotaging...

Thanx for dropping by, Ive actually been meaning to drop by your diary...just havent made it this far yet...But now here I am, LOL...

I am Cerella, nice to meet ya and I am here to help ya on your way anyway I can...

Hang in there Stan! The self double can really throw you off sometimes. I think we all go through that. The best thing is positive affirmations. When you think something negative, like ' I can't do this, whats the point', pretend that you are a good friend, what would you say to them if they were feeling low. I think we tend to be way to hard on ourselves sometimes. But you handled it sooo well!! Yay Stan!!

Keep up the great work buuudddy!! :D:D

Thanks for dropping by guys - good advice too

I've been feeling a bit poorly today with a sore throat and can feel a headache lurking not too far away. I suspect it's only man flu ;) but coming down with something is something I've worried about, ie if I'm sick, am I going to be able to resist those little treats to make me feel better? I'm sure I will be okay, but it does sit in the back of my mind.

Anyway, I'm not going to fret over it right now 'cos it's the weekend! :D And If I can juuuust drag out the onset of illness for a day or two, at least I can take a day off work if I need to :p There's nothing worse than being ill on a weekend and getting better for Monday morning! lol

Right, today's food has seen a first for me! We've got two girls in the office who come from Stoke-on-Trent which is a town in the North of Staffordshire. Now, whereas if you travel anywhere else in the entire known English speaking world you will find pretty much the same cuisine, if you travel to Stoke you may as well be on the planet zog when it comes to some of their dishes and we managed to persuade our two 'Stokies' to provide examples for us, which they did.

Today I had oatcake for the first time (apparently there are 2 types, this is the North Staffs version) and in it, a measly helping of cheese. I have to say that despite my initial reservations, it was absolutely delicious and I'd recommend it anytime. Next week they might be bringing in another Stoke delicacy in the form of 'lobby' - no, I'd never heard of that either! lol

So (and after changing apple types to one I like better)...

Brekkie - weetabix 210
Stokie tasting - oatcake 300
lunch - tuna salad & apple 225
snack - apple 75
tea - beans on toast (with basil! lol) 541

Leaving a total so far today of 1351. Hmm, not as much as I though! Better beef it up with a cucumber sandwich later, so lets say 1465 ish.

It was market today today so on the way back from my 1.6 mile walk I dropped in and got a new work belt. It has 7 notches and I'm starting on the third one in - 4 to go then! Can't wait to go back and get another one

Thanks for dropping by again :)
