Hopin' I'd be sleepy after watchin' Without A Trace, but I'm not.

I'm fixin' ta just take some Nyquil and I hope it knocks me the hell out.

I'm in a so-so pissy mood bc I'm freakin' TIRED.

We may finally get to have some winter weather Monday-Tues.
At this time they are saying we'll ahve a winter-mix storm.

Bring it on!! I'm sick to death of the 60's-70's in Dec! Today was 75* and tomorrow is going to be in the freakin' 80's. :rolleyes:

(Wow...Hubby just called....He's gonna have Friday-Tuesday off...Heck Yes! That means I get to sleep in tomorrow!!! Thank GOSH!)

I'm still gonna drug up on Nyquil though to make sure I get to bed and stay in it! My poor self needs a lot of freakin' sleep.

Hey Stacey, where are you and how are you feeling? I hope you finally got some sleep, you poor thing. I usually go to bed mad early, like last two nights at 8:30pm, but usually around 10:30pm, and then I wake up around 2am and stay up to almost 5am. Seeing as I have to get up for work at 7am, this schedule SUCKS. I love it when I sleep the whole night through. Have you looked into taking melatonin for your insomnia?

Antyways girl, hope you're doing great :).

FINALLY, hubby is improving so I won't have to baby him as much..lol ;)
The insomnia is tearing me down let me tell ya.
I have tried that before and it didn't work.
I don't have a choice now, I'm gonna have to blow money at the dr. office bc I bet my hormones are off track and in the past, they have had to give me 7 days worth of hormones to get me back to normal.
I still won't be able to get sleeping pills though bc our ins. doesn't cover them.
Last time I went to get them filled - 15 pills were gonna be $115 :rolleyes:
I had to tell them to keep 'em.

Sorry to hear you're still having trouble with the insomnia. I think it must be partly mental--the more you think you can't sleep and want to, the harder it is to fall asleep. Do you drink caffeine in the evening?

Congrats on 15lbs and 172!!!!

That is absolute crap! It is very unhealthy to say the least to live with poor sleeping habits. It has been linked to cancer, heart disease and other conditions. With this in mind, I think it is very poor of insurance company refusing to support insomnia medication. Anyway, I do hope you start to sleep well soon.

Have you tried things like yoga or any type of self meditation to help with your sleeping?

You might want to look into your diet. I have read of documented cases where dietary changes greatly helped insomnia suffering patients.

It's a shame that you have been busy being Mrs Nurse. I am pleased that your hubby is improving. Hope that he is fully recovered soon.

I am sorry that you are still having trouble sleeping.

Did you ever try the turkey sandwich not long before bedtime with warm milk? A lot of people know that warm milk can help. There are good things in both turkey and bread.

A lot of people think that yoga meditation can help lots. Most of the time I lie down to meditate, but you can sit cross-legged or lie with your legs going up the wall. I think that you should be able to get books out of the library on yoga meditation techniques.

Cory is going to be beside himself at C-MAS!

The next high dollar item is an IPOD.

Those of course will be his main items and he won't get much else..LMBO!

That's already a cost of $333 :eek:

So thankful for hubby's OT..

Some other things that will be under the tree for him will be lil gifts like a Hot Topic gift card {his favorite store at the mall}, cologne, stuff like that.

We don't mind spending a lot bc we remember how much fun/exciting C-Mas was when we were young.
He'll be 14 in Jan. and the way time flies, it won't be long and play time will be over. He'll be in college and working.

I love the fact we can spoil him with some things.

It's a holiday after all.

Plus we are freakin' excited about Rock Band! LOL! I cannot wait! :D
