70* Seriously???
That's it! I am moving!!! It is exactly 32* here and it sucks. Take it from a girl who works in a freezer, cold weather REALLY REALLY sucks when your in it 24/7. BLAH!!!

YEAH!! SERIOUSLY BELL, that's what I thought too, until the weather man said it about 5 times this morning. 32 one day, 70 the next, that's Oklahoma Weather for you!!

I heard Houston Texas has been running in the 70's for some time now, AHHHHH that southern weather! But, I'll take 70 RIGHT NOW, I'm FREEZING!!

Maybe, I'll call in sick tomorrow, that might work, I better get busy!! I NEVER CALL IN SICK. :waving:

Hi ya guys!

Hey Sugar Lips! I hope hubby starts feeling better soon.

Nice job on the calories today--and the exercise.

All this talk of cuddling your sons makes me remember these two brothers I used to babysit from the time they were both babies. They were cute as hell, and we used to play and cuddle on the sofa and watch TV together. I adored them. Now they're all grown up--in their early 20s!! Makes me feel old. I was 14 when I first started babysitting them.

Hi Stacy

Well done for looking after your calories - and you have had good protein levels on a couple of days.

I have discovered that my diet is really quite high protein. I never knew that. I just follow a really repetitive pattern that works and my body tells me if it needs to be tweaked or not.

I quite often have a snack of 100g to 150g of lean cooked meat - often chicken, turkey or ham. Ham is on special offer at the supermarket at the minute. I normally have it about 4pm.

It transpires that it makes a huge difference to my protein and the calories are acceptable.

150g honey roast ham ===32.7g prot

Just 2 or 3 slices of ham would put you over on a day like that.

They say that eating a lot of little meals a day helps you lose weight. Also that you lose weight better with the higher level of protein. I am more than prepared to accept all this as I am perfectly happy with my rate of weight loss.

Dont feel that you have to focus purely on calories - there is more to it than just getting the number to add up and hit a certain number.

As you know - I have been over and checked your forum. The new look is very cute. You have clearly been very busy and put a lot of hard work into it.

I hope that you have a good Tuesday.

Take care
Love
Margaret

Hi ya guys!

Bell..YEP! Eat him up now while ya can...Enjoy every moment.
We are also in the bad phase "at times" with the sassy/mean mouth.
He gets grounded for that, bc I will not put up with it!
I'm the boss and that's that. ;)

I know what you mean by that!!!
I also have a 16 nearly 17yr old who thinks he knows everything. Unfortunately the younger ones hear his mouth and try to get away with it themselves. So I am always telling him to knock it off cuz' he is getting his younger sibs in trouble. You know they want to be just like big bro!
I like to spread the torture out you know!!! Three kids ages 16, 7 and 4 1/2. There for awhile I thought I would go nuts cuz' my 7 year didn't hit the terrible 2's until she was 3. Right when my youngest was born and right when the oldest turned 13 and started copping attitudes. Guess it just set me up for what is to come!!! LOL

Omigosh Bell, Cory did that to! He had his terrible 2's at 3-4..I remember counting the days until he turned 5..LMBO! :D

It's too funny bc now as I think about it, it truly all stopped once he turned 5..lol *Shewwww*

Back then & NOW, my younger brother and sisters have caused probs like if they were HIS brother/sisters! Just like you said, with the mouth things. Cory has picked up many bad habits I've had to deal with and nag him about.

A few years ago it was the phrase, "That's so gay." Oh my god yer gay-that's so gay."

"How gay." Drove me outta my flippin' mind!

I finally started putting everything he loved in the Hole as punishment.

The Hole: We have a large/deep storage tub that stays in our master closet. Hubby took a black sharpie and wrote the hole on it and it looks dark/spooky..lol When Cory gets punished we take things and put it in the hole. {X-Box - Games - Phone - Etc.} He has to then have excellent behavior to start earning points to get things back. Example of Point System:

X-Box would cost 70 Pts. to get back.

Earn Points: 5 Pts. for talking calmly - nicely for the day
10 Pts. for completing all chores without bein' asked
4 Pts. for doin' homework on time/neatly
5 Pts. if he's upset or disagrees w/us, as long as he stays calms and doesn't get sassy he earns points. We then talk it out.
Etc...

He pretty much grew up with my siblings.

When Dave and I married they were soooooooo little! {Awwww...lol}

When Cory was born they were still very young.

They are now:

Steph- 25 * Bubba{Jimmy}- 21 * MaeMae{Chrisy}- 19

Cory will be 14 on Jan. 5th.

I thought up the hole when he was 3 bc the time out crap did not work so we put his favorite things in time-out instead and that worked like a CHARM! :smilielol5:

We have never spanked bc I was abused so we had to get creative.

Thanks Margaret!
You're always so full of great suggestions/ideas/facts.
:hug2: Thanks so much. :)

So glad you like the forum..I'm almost DONE!! YES! Only a few more lil things and everthing will be back to normal.
I bought the coffee/tea graphics last night and had a ball adding them to the forum.

I need a new banner now to match the rest of decor so that's my next thing.
I'll use the coffee/tea graphs on banner that will say, "The Weight-Loss Gang Cafe'"

>>For those of you that have no idea what this is about, click on the link in my siggy..{lol} That's my forum.. All Are Welcome To Join. :)

As I mentioned to Margaret above, I'm finally almost done w/my forum and things will get back to normal for me w/life in general and here! lol

Today I have to catch up w/laundry and chores around the house.

I accomplished all my errands/quick grocery store visit yesterday as well as takin' care of hubby.

I'm starting to feel very tired but I'm doin' my best with food/exercise.

Hey darlin'--I love your parenting techniques--awesome! So glad to hear that you're pretty much done with the website, and still managing to do well with the weight loss.

BTW, Am I the only one who thinks Bella looks fantastic in that red dress she has on in her new avi? I'm lovin' it. :D
