We live in the sticks, or AKA (Boonies) so we never have a single kid come by. LOL LOL, soooooo me and the boys rent scary movies and watch those, I love scary movies, OKAY let me rephrase that, I LOVE SUSPENSEFUL movies, NOT GORY. I hate all those slash em up and tear em apart movies, NO THANK YOU!! I like the jump out and spook you stuff, YEAH!

As mentioned before, I was a Rep for over 3 years..

I really loved it, but to be truly successful you have ta have a ton of customers.. I only had 50 tops and of course they didn't all order at the same time so I worked my tail off and only made about $200 every 2 weeks..That stunk! :rolleyes:

Reps of course have to buy all the brochures/samples/plus our gas/time...Just not worth it!

The lady that trained me has been w/Avon 25 years and makes 70-80 G a year!!

She has 350 customers but the key to her success is her pyramid.. She has over 3,000 reps in her down-line!!

I had 5...LOL :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

She said it took her 10 years just to clear $1,000 every 2 weeks! I don't have that kinda time/energy!

Anyway, {I'm a ramblin' woman today}

since our weather has changed the past couple of days, my skin has freaked out/dried out..

Man, I forgot how awesome the Skin-So-Soft Bath Oil is!

I soaked in it late last night and my skin has so much moisture!
Feels super soft as well.

Not ta mention the wonderful scent.

I still smell like I just got out of the tub..
{I won't shower again until I've finished my work-out today..} lol

I'm almost out so I placed another order for more! :D

I better go do my Denise Austin work-out now before hubby gets up!

I'll be doin' the Latin Groove dance work-out! ;)

Not sure about the walk now bc I can't find my sweat-shirt w/hoodie..?

I'm also going to do pilates tonight..

pilates is an awesome workout! I take a pilates course with a friend but it's only 1 day a week- so thanks for your tip to check out the exercise/challenges board- i'll definitely take a look to get some good ideas! do you do mat pilates or machine?

I can't stand the gory or the demonic type movies..

No kidding, once I watched the Blair Witch Project and the Ring, I've had ta sleep with a nite-light in the hall! :rotflmao:

Hubby makes fun of me {in a cute way - like come here and let me snuggle you/protect you!} :D

One night I woke up and it was pitch dark! The bulb had burned out and I almost started crying! :D

NOW, there is a flashlight right above my head in the nook on our headboard.

it's good bug repellant too :) only stuff that has ever prevented me from getting golf ball sized mosquite bites..

Yes!! That is why I still had some left.. I have to keep it in spray bottle by front door so I can mist myself outside before taking ZuZu out.

If not, I'll come in w/100 bites! Even if it's a potty walk only - 5-10 mins!

Hey girl :). I had the parmesan chicken again tonight. I'm thinking I want to try it with both the fresh parm and also mix it with the canned to give it more of a crunchy crust? What do you think?

Oh, and when you're done with your homemade sloppy joes please come up this way and cook me something homemade too! Yummy!!

Yeah, I didn't mean to post that 3 times...lmao. The forum was sooo slow then, and it didn't look like it went through once--much less 3 times.:rolleyes:

I love SSS for bug repellant, too. I like that it works, and doesn't smell like bug spray--which smells hideous..lol

We don't get any trick or treaters where I live either--in the country a bit.

I think Avon is a bit like real estate-- you've gotta really go out there and promote it--constantly finding ways to get new business. Very hard--which is why I don't make any $$..lol.

Your workout was great today!

As to logging calories, I just go to fitday and enter in the ingrediants of what I make. Like tonight I had sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, and smoked sausage. So I entered the amout of each thing, plus some margarine. If I make a stirfry, I enter each veggie separately. It's a pain in the rear, but it's the most accurate way to do it. Also, you can add custom foods. I have a lot of the things I eat regularly in there, such as my protein powder, peanut butter, etc. Then you get the correct info.:)
 
A really quick way to enter your foods into fitday is to enter everything you've eaten but dont worry about the portion size at all. Just enter everything you ate by either doing a search for the food, finding it in your list of foods you enter yourself or finding it quickly in the foods you ate recently. Once you've logged all foods, which ends up being quick once you get the hang of it, go down and figure out the portion (number of cups or ounces or servings or slices) for each item and then hit "Save Changes" and it all goes in at once. This has definitely minimized my time on fitday.

then the 2nd time around I WAS MY OWN AND olny customer :rotflmao:
that was not the job for me I did get a nice discount around XMAS time
thats when i waited to sighn up you got 40 or 50% off your 1st order :rotflmao: then indebt I went! I will be back on tomorrow and you have don't have dinner up yet so I can be NOSEY lol I have to sleep it is 12:30 AM KENTUCKY time lmao....CONGRATS on exersices looks great..:jump:

I'm awful. I like gory movies, even when I realize the BF is right--they're all the same. My guilty pleasure. I'm waching "The Hitcher" on Project Free, right now. LOL!!

Another thing that's gross that I like: candy corn. I KNOW it's nasty. I still like it! :p

Brunch- 2 scram eggs with melted cheddar{1 oz.} - {2 egg beaters} - 2 slices of toasted wg-ww bread with ICBINB spray and 1 tsp. plum jelly split between the two. Usual Coffee - 1 c. milk

D- Turkey Sloppy Jo's w/my homemade sauce..{like SF/Ketchup and other low cal ingred.} Mock Loaded Baked Taters - Diet DP

Hi Stacy

You have yet another day with some good exercise and sensible food. Well done. I am sure that you will get a nice reduction on the scales. I dont know how you can leave it a week without getting on and seeing how things are going.

You all mention Halloween. It is truly not fair. Looking through it seems that I am the only one that is going to have to buy tons of chocolate because I know that I will get about 50 young visitors at various times that evening. And it is going to be so difficult for me to get the quantities right - and so difficult for me and my dear husband not to help ourselves to some of it if not beforehand then afterwards with left overs. Every year I say "I hate these American customs". When I was young (back in the 1960s) there was no such thing as trick or treat in England. We dressed up in costumes, carved a lantern - normally from a large swede, and went to a party where there was things like bobbing for apples. There was no going to peoples houses at all.

Hola Stacy, just checking in. You're doing so well!!! I feel like a doofus. I keep going two lbs up and two lbs down and settling in the middle. But now, the weather has cooled and that means..... SOUP. There's no way NOT to lose weight eating soup, is there?! Between my Kashi Go Lean w/raspberries for breakfast; something hot & soupy for lunch, and a Sensible Dinner, I'm Oh So Determined to get this $#&%$ 5 lbs off this week...
