Pita Bread/Pockets can be found in your bakery section of grocery store..

Sometimes they may put them by the Deli as well.

If you have a hard time finding them, look for a worker and ask them to help ya! ;)

Make sure they are whole wheat..Check the label!

Yogurt is Fat Free Yoplait..

Yeah, today I was about to get some organic flour tortillas..and I reached over and chose the whole wheat ones instead. Go whole wheat!

T-Storm Monday

Hi ya diary & friends... *waves* :)

Man it's storming here! Got woke up early this morning by a huge crash of thunder/lightening. :eek: lol

I'm really kinda PO'd bc today is "Last Chance Work-Out" before Weigh In tomorrow.

:rolleyes: I won't be able to exercise like planned..I was gonna walk like crazy at the pond today and for the first time, I was gonna start climbing the big grassy hill and go up/down. {Man, that would have been a great workout! I know my body can handle that now.}

It'll be inside exercise today..:rolleyes:

Oh well.. I can do cardio with weights, circuit training{the BL book goes over a whole list of indoor exercises w/instructions} , and pilates..

I also need to get a start on scrub cleaning/laundry..

Gonna be a BUSY Day! :doh:

Mal's idea sounds cool, I also heard of people using a block of ice with which to slide down a grassy hill. I never tried it--have you?! Circuit training is supposed to be really good for fat burning. I use my running on different days as an excuse not to incorporate cardio into my weight training, but I think I'll ask Steve what he thinks--either way, go get em, Tiger! Oh that is cool your BL pack came with all that! Tone up, baby! :D

I wouldn't let the mud/mess bother me{I do have "old shoes" I let get muddy}, but it has not stopped raining since yesterday afternoon and we are in a flood area...Looks like/is a swamp! Water is standing about 2 ft. deep at the bottom of hill!

What do y'all think of my cals yesterday? :confused: I'm a lil worried on why I had so many left over? I was full from eatin' all day, but the # was so low..
 
Calories

There's a term called cycling the calories, and it refers to eating maybe less one day and more the next, but like, coming out with the same weekly average. So like, say your goal is 1600 daily, and one day you do 1450 and the next you make up for it with 1750, and so on so that by the end of the week your total is still 11200.

Stacy, WOW your picture looks great!! VAL's right you don't look overweight in that pic, but I know what you mean, the first place I gain is in the face, and YIKES I get the double chin so fast it's not funny. Your doing a fantastic job so far, good luck this week, but I don't think your going to need it with the way your going at it. I'll check back later gator

Hi Stacy, just popping in to say hey. We had lots of rain last night too, and still going this morning although it has slacked off some in the past few minutes. Didn't get to do my walk last night, and hoping I will get to do that tonight. Your progress is looking great! Congratulations!

If it'll ever stop raining I can also walk/make laps around apt. complex..

The park/pond is off limits for now bc w/all the rain, the wide sidewalks are all under water and it's a complete mess.

Maybe tomorrow will be a better day for scrub cleaning? :D

I think I'll just do the normal pick-up routine and finish laundry for today.

I really want to make sure today is about eating right/lots of water & exercise!

-Went Up/Down Stairs Outside 8X

-Very Brisk Walk/almost a jog - around complex {laps}:
2,136 steps - 1.2 ml - 57 Cals Burned? seems low since I went up/down stairs?- 18 mins.

I'm freakin' pooped!

Cool Stacy, looks like you got in some great exercise.

Not all steps are made equal--stairs require muscle-work and I bet more energy than steppin along flat ground. I reckon. :)
 
WTG in finding ways to exercise indoors. I think I'm gonna have to bring my exercise bike back up from the basement and plop it in front of a TV..lol.

Keep up the great work, and try to stay dry..lol:rotflmao:
