Hi Stacey,

Reading your post made me almost cry.
I don't know... just not expecting christians here who are really dedicated to God.
God is really amazing..... everywhere in the world.. He motivates people to search for Him.
Even on this forum..... there are brothers/sisters in Christ....
God is really everywhere......

Yeh... Sometimes I need to control myself about eating.
The Lord provides us for everything... but still we always find our own ways to do things.. How stubborn, isn't it.....

Thanks for your sharing, sister...
God blesses.

Hi Stacy, just stopping by to say hi and thank you for your kind words; I agree with you this forum is a lovely place and you meet so many nice people here; although you havent met personally but there is a kind of bonding that gets established. I already feel that...and the best part is you know someone cares for you as to how you feel, and is there to help you out..good luck on the challenge...

*Big Hugs* IwanttoKEEPfit :grouphug:

He sure does.

It can be so very easy to get lost as a Christian bc as 'people' we want eveything NOW..We want our direction, our promises from the Lord, His miracles, our purpose, just everything NOW.

It's easy to lose faith and back-slide which is what I have been very guilty of.

I have fought my way back though these last few months and the Lord is blessing me because I chose HIM and not my own way(s).

One thing that is soooo simple I chose to ignore was how HIS timing is very different than ours.
Also, when we create a lot of messes for ourselves over time, we cannot expect to get out of them quickly.
If it took time making them, it'll take time getting out of them.

That's where I made my BIG mistake.
I just got mad and decided He over-looked me and was ignoring me.
So many horrible things have happened to me and my family the past few years and I was just plain ole angry.
BUT, I should have seen these things in a different way..Like a trial/turmoil test and if infact it was, I failed horribly.

That won't happen this time. :) ;)

I took a long hard look at my weak points and so I'm working on those first through bible study:

9 Fruit's of the Spirit
Self-Control being a very important one bc how can you walk in all of the other's if you have no control? lol

Faith and PATIENTS.

Boy patients is the HARDEST and I always have a little bit of fear pop up when I pray for God to work in me bc HE has a sense of HUMOR!
Now that I have seeked Him many thing will come my way to make me LEARN it..LMBO! :smilielol5:

Great example yesterday...

You are in a hurry...you have been in the store shopping a long time and you are tired and still have many things to accomplish...

You pick the shortest line which in return becomes the longest bc the cashier is new and having a hard time.
She gets customer's that have separate orders and tons of produce she can't remember the codes for.
:D

I feel that I'm fixing to let out a huge *sigh* and begin the eye rolling and then I quickly remember praying for patients. :Angel_anim:

He teaches us in many ways that include things in our everyday life.

Same goes with diet/exercise.
We house the Holy Spirit within us and we have to take care of "His House."

He is happily awaiting us to come to Him for help.

:hug2:

I look forward to chatting with you about all this as well as other topics.

<3 Stacy

hi stacey...

for inspiration re weight loss & healthy eating i find the serenity prayer works just aswell as it does for those in AA or on any other 12 step programme...

'God grant me the serenity to accept the things i cannot change. courage to change the things i can & wisdom to know the diference.'

btw
you are all so busy going from one diary to another with words of support re the challenge ...just to let y'know you don't have to include me...as i wimped out on day one...i left a message on cinderellys diary for my shame!! :blush5:

Hey Stacy :) I finally made it back over here, lol. I kept getting interrupted or had to go to work the past few days when I was trying to work through journals but I wanted to see how you're doing. I'm having some insomnia at the moment too. I worked all night and I'm tired but when I lay down my eyes snap open, lol.

I LOVE your pics. Your tiny avatar doesn't do you justice. I agree with Val, your skin is amazing and you are absolutely stunning. *hugz* ~Lisa

Challenge: Day 3

I hope you all will Have A Goal Reachin' Wednesday! :grouphug:

I'm feeling fine, just fine. :D

I have more energy and even tho I need much more sleep, I'm hanging in there.
Today will be another busy day for me..
I have errands to run, gotta buzz my dad's hair today, get my exercise in, and deal with my messy house.

<Vent> :toetap05:
It makes me so mad to clean - clean - and clean some more and then hubby and son make a mess of it all.
It's just not fair. How hard is it to pick up after yourself, wipe things down when you make a mess & so on?
Looks like I may have to "remind" hubby of something I told him a while back..
"Hellooooo, I'm not a Maid/Servant...If this continues I'll CALL a Maid and she can deal with the mess."

I don't care how broke we are, if this keeps up I will do it.
That may be the only way I can get through to my family that MY TIME is precious to and it shouldn't be spent cleaning all the dang time!
I shouldn't have to do everything for pete sakes! <grrrrrrrrrrrr>
<End Vent>

:D Ok...Moving on..

I can't believe it's 2/25 ... March, spring, & the time change are almost here!!!!

I'm so excited!

I can't wait to be outside more, pick-nics at the park, fishing, planting flowers, and so on..
I love spring! :)

WOW I hear you on the cleaning. I don't even have kids but I've been seriously stressed about the house cleaning lately. I just get it almost caught up and my husband's making messes right behind me. Or I'll clean on a Friday and be at work the whole weekend and come home to a trashed house after he's had company. It's started to wear me down that I feel like I'm spinning my wheels and can't get caught up because I'm the only one cleaning. Sorry to hijack you're rant but :iagree: Unfortunately you'd probably clean before the maid came anyway making it pointless, lol.

HAHAHAHA Lisa!

You know me well already! ;)

I have OCD, so that is a strike against me already..LOL

It 'truly' bothers me more than most.

Thank You so much for your precious comments. :grouphug:
Means a lot. :)

You can Hijack my place any time..:D

baglady:
Thanks so much sweetie. :hug2:
Don't feel bad hon!
This is the first time a challenge has not seemed impossible or overwhelming..
They take some getting used to.
:O)

Thanks Trusy! :seeya:

lovelylilly:

Thanks! ;)

I sure hope!
I'm sure you're going to melt it off as well!

^^^ Wooo great motivation you have going there, Stacey, I came in here to say a big HI! , and to get some of that marvellous enthusiasm to rub off on me too whilst I was at it !.... :)

I hope you are enjoying your 3rd day of the Challenge!! You are already doing superb with the exercise and diet, so you just keep going & you'll have fabulous results.... :hurray:

By the way I checked out your pics everyone was commenting on and you look ver ver attractive indeed, and your hair colour is absolutely DELISH.

Sorry your men are giving you a bit of trub there... hey I can relate & I'm sure lots of us can........ about the man thing I mean lol --- all the ones I have met in my life (and I know there are exceptions, guys !!) have a total aversion to housework, I mean you'd think they had an allergy.

You can't even just stop tidying & wait for it to bother them so they do something about it, cos it really doesn't faze them. Haha. They'll just carry on regardless.

I remember when I was living with a partner few years back, I did have to ask him to do things 20 times.... because he wouldn't do them ... but then of course it becomes 'nagging'. :toetap05:

And, I inevitably ended up with the washing up because he claimed I was so much better at it....... Like there's some special skill to washing dishes - err like some university course maybe. Pffft.!!!
I also especially liked the habit of putting dirty laundry on top of the laundry basket, instead of inside. I never, ever figured that one out.

Ha ha, well you gotta laugh or you cry!!!

Take care & have a lovely day ... keep up the good work !!:) :)

hi stacey & sophia...

thats weird i've just posted about this exact thing & PMT on the joke thread...i posted a lightbulb/PMT joke earlier...

of course if they did it the first time...we wouldn't have to ask again/nag!!!

& btw isn't it strange how we're always 'so much better' at stuff they don't want to do LOL

ooh yes spooky coincidence :)
So very true isn't it, haha, my last live in partner just couldn't quite get his dusting to 'come out' as good as mine either. Pfft! Ya gotta laugh :bigear:.
I'll go check out the joke thread... didn't know there was one :)

OMG, that's just hilarious about the cleaning!

I'm a space utilizer. I'm not very good at housecleaning. I know it has to be done, but I always think of other things to do instead. Then every 3 months I get into this whirlwind cleaning frenzy, and I toss stuff out, clean everything up, and it looks fantastic!! But then the space utilization process starts all over again ... I know it's a pattern, but I can't seem to break it.

In my defence, I do keep the kitchen and bathrooms very, very clean :)

Stacy, your time IS valuable, and your family has to respect that. But you sound just like my sister. She really likes CLEAN AND TIDY. She used to stay up until 2:00am cleaning. It's totally OCD :D

I hope your hump day was fabulous! ;)
