Whelp,

It has been a CRAZY one so far for sure! :leaving:

Cory's school was in a panic this morning during a fire drill.....

While they were all OUTSIDE with the Fire Dept. and School Staff, the BANK DIRECTLY across the street was bein' robbed and gun shots were heard.

The Firemen and staff quickly yelled for everyone to get back inside the school ASAP for Lock-Down.

Of course the students were in a complete panic....

When our local news reported this my HEART SANK and I turned white as a ghost!
I called the school and all students were bein' accounted for at that time.
Police arrived at the school to make sure the criminal did not make it inside during the panic and with E1 rushing indoors at once.

FINALLY, after some time all students were accounted for including Cory and the police said the criminal could not be inside.
An hour later the criminal was caught.

"After" the staff gave him the "money," he shot them both.
They are in the hospital and still alive so far.

Cory arrives home a little after 4PM (he rides the bus) and boy will he have lots to tell me!

Just found out we had 2 EarthQuakes this morning!! LMAO

What the heck kind of Halloween is this in Texas?! :smilielol5:

The first one was 2.5 and the 2nd was a 3.0

The cities are Grand Prairie and Irving.

GP is an hour away from us and Irving is 35 mins away!

I am not looking forward to anything remotely close to "The Loma Prieta earthquake, also known as the Quake of '89 and the World Series Quake, was a major earthquake that struck the San Francisco Bay Area of California on October 17, 1989 at 5:04 p.m. local time. Caused by a slip along the San Andreas Fault, the earthquake lasted approximately 15 seconds and measured 6.9 on the moment magnitude scale (surface-wave magnitude 7.1). The quake killed 63 people throughout northern California, injured 3,757 people and left some 8,000 to 12,000 people homeless."
 
I heard about the quakes on the news and wondered if you felt them.

That is terrible about the bank robbery across from Cory's school. I wonder why he shot them when they gave him what he wanted. Must've been on drugs--or a cold hearted murderous bastard. :cuss: I hope they make it. Jeez. :(

Hope your new plan goes well. That's too bad about Ms. Elinor, but it's probably for the best from what you've told us.

My Pep-Talk!

Day 1 starts tomorrow! 11/2/08

Wish It * Dream It * DO IT!

Has anyone else had one of these moments...?

You 'finally' decide to inspect yourself in front of the mirror and you're shocked w/what you see?!?
I have had that moment this week..
"When did that get wider?!"
"When did that get bigger?!"
"Omigosh, what has happened to me?!"

I have been running by the mirror for so long and zoning out while in the shower, getting dressed, and putting on make-up that it truly was a shock to me to find out where my body/health is at at this point!

I now say, "Enough is Enough!"
I say, "WHEN!"
It's time for a CHANGE!
I will no longer 'Wish or Dream.' I will DO IT!

I was on fire with a game plan in early Sept. as you may remember, but medical problems and dental problems knocked me off track.
That's just part of life I guess but before that happened my lack of exercise and poor eating was MY fault!
It's time for me to be accountable for what 'I am' in control of or lack of control of!

Yes, I am a busy person with a busy life/family life...
Yes, I am tired before/after work...
Yes, I find TIME hard to come by...
Yes, NOT ONE THING WILL CHANGE UNTIL I MAKE TIME FOR ME!

* I deserve TIME! I have to organize and plan better.
* I may have to suffer w/bein' pooped and tired before/after work, BUT I have to allow myself time to exercise and once this becomes a routine I'll gain more energy and feel better!
* Yes, the economy is horrible right now and the grocery budget gets smaller and smaller but I'll just have to do the best I can to clip coupons an save where I can to fit in fresh foods and more produce!
* Yes, I am worth it! * Yes, I can DO IT!

Life throws us punches and sometimes knocks us out....
It's time for me to stand back up, dust myself off and throw some punches back!! What about you?

I'm so tired of bein' tired, and I'm surely tired of wishing and dreaming!

It's time to fight and knock the excuses to the side.
It's time to get up each day and take it One Day at a Time.
Each day is PROGRESS as long as you do the best you can and as long as you don't throw in the towel!

I will reach MY GOALS!
I will become healthy, fit, lose weight, feel better, and look better!

I showered late last night and just got up at the crack of dawn, threw on clothes, hat, sunglasses, brushed my teeth and headed out the door! LOL

I missed breakfast dag gone it! lol

Gotta do lunch now and then get my pilates accomplished.

Hubby is gonna help color my hair as well..LMBO! :sifone:

The grey is comin' in bad..lol..

Gripes my butt..I hate puttin' color on my hair but I have to..I can't stand all the grey.

My natural color is a light to medium milk chocolate with natural semi-blonde highlights.. I miss it! (I was a natural butterscotch blonde until I reached age 15-16 and then it started turning brown.)

I have to always go dark brown with color bc the light brown color gives my hair an orange tint! *yuck*

Anywho,

I better eat so I can exercise and get my hair done.

I work 1PM - 5PM tomorrow and 11AM - 3PM Thursday..
