:iagree: I agree with Lemon. What a great early present.

Obviously he got the bike put together for you.

I hope that you both enjoy celebrating his birthday.

Take care

Hi Margaret. :seeya:

He sure did. ;)

I love it.. It's very addictive. I hope that doesn't wear off!

We have found a nice spot for it in the living room and we'll see it all day which I think will be helpful.

I'm going to try and have spurts of exercise all day today bc of the birthday cake and ice cream...lol

I did get me my own little pint of sugar free ice cream to help cut the cals/fat.

The cake is Lemon with Lemon icing. I'll have a regular slice after dinner.

Dave's B-Day Dinner will be my homemade spaghetti and meatsauce.

I always use whole wheat pasta and low sodium/sugar canned tom. sauce along with fresh roma tomatoes.

There will also be salad and WW-MG garlic rolls.

Dinner isn't bad, it's the dessert. :D lol

This whole thing hit home w/me, so I wanted to share it with everyone. :seeya:

Jillian Michaels Says:

Visualize the Prize

The technique of visualization uses thoughts and imagination to bring about major life changes.
It's simple: Picture in your mind the object of your desire (whether it's a situation, an event, or an image of yourself) as vividly as possible.

Spend time concentrating on the image of wish fulfillment, truly believing in it as if it were already real.
Be detailed and comprehensive, and be sure to include your emotional well-being in this vision as well.
The reason visualization works is that your brain can't tell the difference between a real event and an imagined one; so by using your imagination, you can create positive experiences that improve your self-image and your skills, help you release worry, realize your goals, and so on - the possibilities are endless.

You can now create an image of your body that fits your genetic type and potential.
It must be a vision that you can believe, not one that will be out of reach. For example, I'm never gonna be able to slam-dunk like Shaq — I'm five foot two, for godsake; but it doesn't mean that I can't play one hell of a mean basketball game.
I will be the best player that I can be, and at the end of the day that's what counts. Your imagination can be the source of your fear, but it can also provide the remedy.

By harnessing the power of your imagination and practicing visualization techniques, you will make your mind work for you, not against you.

JILLIAN'S TIP OF THE DAY

Mind Over Matter

You can change your life by changing your mind.
Any lingering sense of inferiority or inadequacy will interfere with the attainment of your goals and dreams, while self-confidence and a positive attitude lead to success.
To push your body toward ripped perfection, your mind has got to be strong and focused.
It is imperative that you hone and train your mind as intensely as you train your body. This means following a few guidelines and performing some mental exercises to replace self-defeating behaviors with positive ones, and to remove distractions and bring mental clarity and self-control.
After all, it's your mind that directs and drives everything you do, or don't do — so get it on your side!

Happy early Birthday to you Stacey!!!
Wow! What a great gift. I can't wait to be able to get out on my bike this summer.
Wish Dave a Happy Birthday from me!
And enjoy that slice of cake.
From personal experiance it is better to have some now rather than overspluge later.
Have a great day Sweetie!

Thanks Bell. :grouphug:

My legs are sore. :biggrinjester:

I'm pretty pissed off at the moment bc I can't even take a shower.

I've called the answering service 4 x tonight since 8PM telling them to get someone out to turn the boiler on!

Our water was shut off once again from 11AM - 6PM :banghead:

Like that wasn't bad enough. One of the guys must have forgotten to turn the boiler back on before leaving the property.

I give up.. They are too lazy to come out I guess?

Management will get an ear full from me in the morning. :cuss:

I will not sleep worth a crap.

I've been very active today plus cooking/baking.

I want a dern shower.

This will make me have 3 X as much laundry/cleaning to deal with now as well for the next few days.

Our water was shut off all day 3 x in Feb and 5 x in March!

I'm fed up and they will know it tomorrow as they get my wrath. :D

Guess I better try and get to bed.

I checked for hot water 10 mins. ago and we still don't have it, so they are not coming.

I hope that you are fully recovered now.

I am sorry about the water issues. I hope that it is all sorted out now. I remember you were having problems with the water before you got busy elsewhere.

Well done with the exercise. It is always hard to get back into the swing of these things after a break - but you are doing really well there.

I'm glad that Dave's birthday went so well.

Take care
Love
Margaret

I hope so to Margaret.

I'll still get a sharp pain here 'n there in my back or sides, but along with the meds I'm drinking lots of water to try and help to.

My energy is coming back. My feet seem to be the issue at this time.

They have still not become 100%

I have never had this problem before w/my feet. It really threw me for a loop.

Whelp,

I chewed out the office big time!

We did not get hot water until 10 mins. ago!! :banghead:

I'll probably be in the shower an hour to feel clean again.. lol
{OCD - I already have ta soap up 2X just to feel clean on a normal day.}
LMBO. :biggrinjester:

Our lease is up in July.. We'll be here 1 year. We DO NOT want to move, but if this craps keeps up we'll have no choice.

2 neighbors have mentioned this was the last straw for them, and they are leaving.

I hope this gets the point across to management.

This will be a super busy day for me..

I have to try and put a dent in laundry and get as much cleaning done as I can.
I'm so behind bc of the water issues.

I hope you're all having a wonderful day! :grouphug:

Glad you got your hot water turned back on! I hear ya on the laundry. I did 4loads the day we left for our getaway, and did 4 more yesterday after getting back. I still have one load left to do today. It's neverending, isn't it?

Take it easy if you're still not feeling good. The house can wait to be cleaned--it's not going anywhere, and the world will not come to end if it doesn't get cleaned today. Your health is far more important. :grouphug:

I've decided I have LCD--Lazy Cuss Disorder. :biggrinjester:

LMBO @ LCD :sifone:

I hear ya re: laundry.

I have completed 2 loads and have 1 in the dryer - 1 in the wash now - and 1more waiting.

I finally got all the dishes loaded in dishwasher and they are washing as well.

I gathered up all the dang trash that needed to go to the dump and accomplished that.

I got the house picked up but not cleaned. GRRR...

I'll just start cleaning tomorrow. :ack2:

Once I pick up Cory from school, I'll exercise on the bike.

I'm nervous about this evening bc of course hubby goes back ta work and we are under a Severe T-Storm Watch and a Tornado Watch.

Everytime we get bad weather, he has to work and is not here to comfort me.

I can't stand that it always works out like that..lol

I'm such a baby when it comes to severe weather. :leaving:

Aarrghhh about the water. It's bad enough having to do laundry, let alone having water issues. I don't hate laundry so for the task itself, but it takes me sooo long. I always forget the switch the laundry over from the washer to dryer, so it takes me extra long!

You have my sympathy on the tornado watchs. Tornadoes are one of my phobias. Thank goodness we don't get them very often!

Hey Stacy! I'm wishing you luck and I hope you kick those last few pounds out of your life!

Btw, you look GREAT in your after pictures you posted!!!!! congratulations!!

Quick Check In

Laureelee: Yer so sweet. :hug2:

(Those are my starting pics though.. lol ;) )

I have 30 - 40 lbs to take off. Once I reach 150 lbs, I'll know if I'm at goal - or if I need to keep going. :)

Thanks for your sweet Pep Talk.

LOL L-Lemon ... :bigear: I'll be glued to the weather all evening.

I do the same dern thing about forgetting to switch laundry bc I can't use the buzzer. Our laundry area is in the hall by our bedroom and hubby sleeps all day for work. (He works a 12-hour-nightshift.)

:seeya:

Sweet lil Stacy... my krunk assed ghetto bitch... I love you! hahaaa Hey honey... dropping in to check up on your ass. I noticed you got a bike. Fantastic. Now picture yourself trying to run people over. For some reason, that always makes me work out harder. LMAO

Me too!!!
I have nightmares every spring. Have had them like that since I was in 8th grade and a twister hit about a mile down the road. It was only a tree topper but to a kid living in a trailer it might as well been an F5!
