We have done a great job with him and even though high school brings a lot of trouble and temptations, we have taught him what's right/wrong and have raised him to have commen sense/morals/and values.
He's so super mature for his age as well.

Have a great day! :waving:

Ya it isnt exactly cheap down here, LOL!Especially since they jacked up our gas prices, it is ridiculous, we always joke around abt how we soon wont be able to afford to eat or drive, lol.The gas prices going up raises the prices of everyhtign else due to shipping nad such...

I love your statement abt Corey!!!He is so vey lucky to have had you at home with him through all those years and as long as he is well equipted with the right tools he will be fine in high school!!!

Ive always worked and pretty much always been single but Ive raised great kids as well and asmy oldest gets older , even thought she is a snotty teenager I wanna strangle most of the time , everything is starting to show. SO it is nice. Raising kids is really hard, single or not, stay at home or working. It is really quite the job.

Hi ya E1 ... :seeya:

Things are finally settling down 4 me. (Thank Gosh!!)

The owner and I are going back and forth a lot though re: compensation.
I should hear from him tomorrow on a final offer.

I have had a busy week driving to Richardson (30 mins. away) for TRAINING.

I'm a working woman again!! :hurray:

I'm now a Health-Aid/Caregiver for Home Instead Senior Care. :D

My first client is on Sunday.

I'm super excited.

I start out at $8 an hr. :ack2:
After 4 mo, you qualify for pay raises.

I also get .65 cents a mile added to my check.

This is super right for me re: having a family bc I'm in control of the shifts, hours, and locations I want.

I get paid every mo. on the 10th and 25th.

I have to drive out to Richardson one last time tomorrow to pick up my client's journals and also to fix my W-4 form..
I filled it out wrong..LMAO! :smilielol5:
Hey, it has been 15 yrs. since I had to fill one of those things out..

I'm now 185.6 and hope to lose weight due to working and of course trying to get my life back to normal.

Last time I weighed in I was 189 :ack2: :puke:

I hope this fresh start in my life will promote non-working exercise.
I'm glad the job I have will give me exercise to.

I have a good plan for lunch at work. I'll pack healthy meals and snacks.
I bought a cool salad/salad dressing tupperware set that will come in super handy!

Hubby and I will start the patches again next weekend. :hurray:

School starts for Cory on the 25th.
Thank goodness he can ride the bus since I'm working now!

I'll have to get a pic taken of me in my scrubs. I look cute..Heehee.

(You have to wear scrubs as your uniform)

My goal is to have enough money saved by Feb '09' to start school for becoming a PCA.

I hope all of you are doing well! :grouphug:

Feel free to chat about yourselves/weight-loss /etc. here!

I plan to get to your journals when I can have more free time!

<3 Stacy

Congratulations Stac!
Glad to hear that things are finally looking up for you. You sure do deserve it!
It's awesome that you found a job so quickly.......and something that is so suited to you and who you are.
Glad to hear that you and hubby will be making another go round with the patches. :sifone:
Things have been pretty rocky on my end with weightloss. It's more like weight gain. *sigh* :svengo:
Twenty pounds to be exact. Check out my diary real quick for the whole story.
Again congrats on the job.
:biggrinjester:

Hi Stacy,

Long time no see!

I'm back on track and sounds like you are too! Good for us! Good luck in the new job and continued weight loss!

David

Time 4 A Fresh Start!

Day 1 Begins Monday - 11th

I have to BREAK this horrible Cycle!

Hi E1 :waving:

My first week at work was just great! :hurray:

I love my clients. They are too precious!

I almost fainted when I got on the scale today. :willy_nilly:

I'm the highest I have ever been in my life!

I'm 190.0 lbs. :puke:

Measurements:
Mid-Section - 36 in.

Waist - 36 in.

Hips/Tummy - 44 1/2 in.
(ending under belly button)

Inner Thighs - 27 in.

BARF.. :puke:

I will be using the 1,741 Food Mover Calorie Card. (Richard Simmons)
Those are the cals needed for me to lose.
Of course the cal cards will change as I lose.

Let me tell ya, bein' broke has really caused a lot of "food issues."
We have had to eat pure junk. I'm so glad that I'm working now so this can change!

We have also had the worst summer since the mid-80's!

We are still havin' triple digit weather/humidity. It never cools off, not even when the sun goes down. Pure hell! :reddevil:

Heck, I don't even clean like I used to bc as soon as you start moving around you get overheated, sweat and feel ill.

The stress of what we have been going through with the apartment manager and AC crap has not helped either.

Plus, the scare of Dave maybe not having a job soon.
We will know Mid Sept. if they will close the doors.

If they do close, get this... They will remain open and finish contracts that will be completed the 2nd week of Dec.
What a time to lose your job!!

The above are not excuses, just explaining why it has been so freaking hard to start over and get motivated.

I can honestly say I have never in my life been so stressed out.
The depression we are both going through is just horrible.

I'm trying very hard to gain a fresh and cheery outlook.

I want to LIVE and be HAPPY!

I want to get this weight off and become healthy and happy with my body.

At this point I wanna hurl everytime I look in the mirror.

Exercise is gonna be rough bc of the heat, but I'm just gonna have to push through it.

Eating - That will be an up/down thing at this point..
I'll have to make the best of what we can afford at this time and of course watch portions.
As I get more hours, groceries will get better/healthier.

Mini Goal: I hope to weigh in at 178.0 or less by Sept. 16th
(The start of the new season of Biggest Loser!)

...Good things I have already started...

I find that I feel better about myself and can get motivated by simple things..

For 3 days now I have made time for myself each day/evening.

I have been working in my crossword puzzle books and I've been doing facials.

I have also been taking cool bubble baths and trying to relax more.

These little things are helping me want to CARE MORE about myself.

I hope things will work out for me this time!

It's really and truly depressing that come Sept. I'll have been a member here for 1 year and I'm now heavier than last year with no success. :piggy:

I want to start success in 08 now and end with major success in 09!

One day at a time..

Whelp, I just finished catching up in journals finally and now I'm off to use our coupons at Subway..lol

Have A Great Night Y'all! :grouphug:

Hey there girl!
Glad to see that your job is going well. Sorry to hear that other things are getting at ya. Dave's job, the heat, prob's with the apartment....so on and so forth.
Don't beat yourself up to badly about not having met your goals that you set last year.
You actually accomplished plenty of the things you set out to do. You have just had some set backs. Same as alot of us.
Myself included. I could kick myself since I was actually within 19 pounds of my goal in April. Since then I packed back on 23 pounds!!!
But I reached a point where I said no more! And in the last 9 days have lost 4.2 pounds.
If I can do it so can you.
If you really didn't care about yourself you would have totally thrown the towel in by never coming back here.
But as someone said in my diary you obviously have the "want to" to get it done. Now you just need to put one foot in front of the other.
Keep your chin up!
I know you can do this.

Thanks 4 the support & pep talk doll! :hug2:

~*Congrat's on the 4.2 lb loss gurl!*~ :hurray:

I hope to get a lot of cleaning accomplished today, along w/laundry.

I'm gonna drag my pilates dvd's out to.

I need to start out easy w/exercise since it has been so dang long..lol..
Gotta be careful bc of my RA..It's always the worst in the summer bc of the humidity. :ack2:

:waving: Have A Great Day All!

I'm glad you're enjoying your job! I knew you'd be perfect for that sort of thing. :)

I second everything Dawn said. Just take it one day at a time.

I love that you're making time for yourself everyday. That's such a great thing to do.

Go Stacy!! :hurray:

Keep at it Stac!
I know you can do this.
Hey at least you don't have to go into a freezer after walking around in all that heat. I think that has to be the worst thing about my job. Getting all sweaty before I get there and then turning into a ice-pop when I finally get in there. :smilielol5::smilielol5:
Have a great week.

Wow, it's Stacy!!! HI!

I have been away for a while and I've lost track of people who got themselves a new diary, yadada I mean?

I read a little, sorry to hear about the winter gain and the difficulties in finding support, but it's great you have a job and things seem to be looking up for you!

I've spent 2008 in Party Mode, although I managed to find a way to stop binging and stop eating so much sugar, and I have my first half marathon in October that I need to work towards, so couple that with being happy and single with tons of awesome friends, I managed to get back down to last year's weight at this time, too! 144-ish, which is a good place to be and I'm thrilled :D

Glad to see you back! Too bad it took me this long to find ya, LOL

Hi Ya & Thanks E1. :waving:

Only been home from work a bit and now I have ta get dinner going. :)

Day 1 yesterday went ok..

Food was on plan {as much as it could be} and I did 20 mins. Pilates.

I don't work tomorrow so I'll journal hop and see how u guys are doing!

:grouphug:

Nice ta see ya again Val!!

Hey there,
My name is also Stacy, so we just gotta keep eachother motivated. I'll be checking in on you.

Good luck! :waving:

Thanks Y'all. :hug2: ;)

I'm happy to report that as of today I'm finally out of the 90's thank gosh!! :hurray:

I'm now 189 - It's a start!

I accomplished a 20 min. walk w/ZuZu yesterday after dinner and 20 mins. pilates.

Let me tell ya it was tough after working and then cooking dinner..lol..

I have to get some errands taken care of today before I go back to work tomorrow.

I hope yer all havin' a Goal Reachin' day! :waving:
