Sophies diary

hahaha. i think cos im starting out on my healthy eating plan again its taking my body a lot of work to cut out the sugar cravings i have cos i have a mega mega sweet tooth. i need to go for a bout a week clear of it then the cravings stop. ive just got to do it!!!
xx

I was just talking about my plans to overcome the sweet tooth myself! I was thinking of making sure I get enough complex carbs, and eat sugary things but lower on the GI like beets and agave nectar. ;) I think refined sugar consumption leads to temporary depression. I have no medical evidence though!

hmm.. do you mean the dip afterwards causing more cravings? because i am never really satisfied once ive had that first lapse! so i just have to sto pthat first taste then i wont get any "binges".
complex carbs..are they like oats, wholemeal bread etc?
i'm gonna work hard at it today :) x

Hey There Porcelain Doll!! it's so nice to see you posting again. Seems we all have that sweet tooth problem, even I do every now and again. As long as you acknowledge that this is an issue, you can correct it, and it takes time, trust me a LOT of time, every day is a "new" day, so even if you have a few off days your doing fine!! stick with your goals and just give it all you got!!

Good luck for the rest of the week!! I'll check back in later on you!

AND
i had a sneaky peek at the scales today and ive been tracking calories and exercising my ass for two weeks and ive gone from 131lbs to 123lbs so that was a nice surprise too
love y'all! xx

WOW that's a nice weight loss!! How long did that take?? Great job with watching what you eat and exercising, just make sure you get plenty of fuel if your burning a lot of calories. HAVE FUN out dancing the night away, I would love to do that again!! Ahhhhh, to be young. I like the idea of no drinking and not worrying about social pressure, that's a good step forward!!

its taken since i got back from france (my main cause of weight regain) so 2/3 weeks really hard work. dont worry though my calories at lowest are 1600 on my none exercise days so im always fuelled up ready to go :) no starving myself this time..it doesnt work for the long run.
theres no reason why you cant do it kim! just take along a group of your best buddies and have a bit of a boogie!
xxx

Yeah, I'm sure I could last until maybe 1:00 am, then I would be begging for my bed!! LOL LOL I think I talk myself out of it, because I know by morning I would be useless!! LOL. It's all a state of mind, so I might do a late party all night thing about once a year. LOL Not saying I don't go out and have fun, I just try to make it to bed before 1 am. Have fun!! And I'm happy to read you are doing it without starving, YEAH!!! your body will be so good to you for doing that also.

Wow, how cool that your French is already good enough for you to take work there!! What did you do? Who did you live with?

It's excellent to hear that you are eating in a sustainable way and happy with your loss. :)

:) hey flissfliss taught in a primary school and stayed at a hostel thing for foreginers. it was good fun - the only bit i hated was the fact that there wasnt really any chance to do any exercise other than walking cos i was so busy and that the food was pretty much just empty calories!
hope youre losing fably too! xx

i'm all bunged up with the flu :svengo:
blugh
i swam so hard last night at training. the main said was 20x100m, the first 5 were on 2 mins the second 5 on 1min50 the third 5- 1 min 40 and the last 5- 1 min 30. BUT we had to be in on 1min20 everytime so that we were swimming at the same speed but altering the rest duration. i felt absolutely drained when id finished and i could hardly get out of the pool. it was a good feeling though cos it showed that i worked hard.
tuesdays are rubbish days though. gotta get this one over with!have a nice day everyone xxx

thankyou cannon! hope all is well with you aswell..and that your mom and sister and doing okay after their misfortunes.
so today has been a brilliantino day!! woop woop!
1227 calories (most of which were carbs .. eeep ... but then i was only one gram over my carb allowance so not too bad) i need more protein balance!
drank lots of water too today.
did 45 mins circuit training, 4 x 400 intervals and then a half an hour gentle swim :)
positiveness is ebbing from me today. i am going to share it with you all ... have some!

Great job Sophie getting down on the scale, and keeping your calories and food in check. Sorry about the flu, YUK!!! It's rough when that hits.

Also, great job on the swimming girl, your just a little fish in the water, WOO HOO!!!
