my dad is being such a grouch bag :mad:
i was just walking up the stairs and e came out of his study and was SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
but really aggrssively
i was obviously disturbing is work.
but it MUST be okay for ihm to have his radio programme on at about 52 decibels so i can actually hear it through two doors whilst im doing myyyy work.

They're SUPPOSED to be annoying - it's in the manual somewhere ;)

yeah its okay - i dont mind a bit of noise .. just aswell haha
its just te principle of it all.. why should there be one rule for one person and opne rule for another in the same household.
and blimmin next door neigbours been cutting the hedge since 9am this morning

so tonight im feeling a bit pants really. ive had 1559 calories today which is about right for me reeally. but my exercise tonight was abysmal. i felt bloated, tired, wheezy and really lethargic. so i did half an hour alternating hard run/walk. but dont feel ive really done anything.
i need to be POSITIVE
 
yeah. you see im having this problem atm where im waking up at 6.40am EVERY morning. no matter how late or early i go to bed. something wakes me up at that time but i dont know what it is. its always dead on too. freaky stuff eh.
also i am over analysing what i eat and it freaking me out a bit ... like im always thinking about what i should and shouldnt be eating, at what times, what i can eat more, etetcetc. its awful - i wish i could just say HEY eat when youre hungry.
 
I'm a firm believer in "there's a time for everything". So, there's a time for border-line obsessing about what you eat and there will be a time for just eating naturally and getting it right still.
The link between the two is the time when I need to teach myself the habit of eating right. Only then it will feel natural and easy later on. (Thinking back, how many of the things we think we do "naturally" we've really managed from the start: walking? no, eating? had to figure the technical approach out first, talking? erglmsfworhmgr?, not really, no...)
Hunger is a very unrealiable thing (after you're 6 months old..), since it's something we've modified to our needs. And if it's now programmed in a way which doesn't work, it just needs to be reprogrammed...
Oh, such philosophy at 10 in the morning. :rolleyes: The Good Friday spirit maybe?
Anyway, my point: You'll get there, Sophie! I hope we all will! :)

yeah i guess. i just want to not have hunger as a habit. but what you say i totally agree with!
i just need to be patient :]

i just turned down a large double chocolate cookie :)
and i have only snacked once today and that was on a pear
and the weater is absolutely amaaazing today it is so hot and sunny and i have sat in the park with my friends and it was wonderful. i didnt think about food once because i was having such a good time. xx
 
You turned down a double chocolate cookie? You are a dedicated girl! :) Sounds like a nice sunny day over there! Send some warm weather my way!
 
hehe congratulations on saying no to that cookie. i would have probably eaten the hand offering me the cookie hehe (i am really craving chocolate...and i mean really hehe)
but on a more serious note (me serious ha!): i completely agree with juliette, it will take time, but eventually you'll get there (i have to believe that for myself also).
you'll achieve your goals sophie...i just know you will :D

thankyou huyn - i just need to keep at it!! it can be so frustrating at times but its also good because i can realise that oter people are going through the same thing by reading their diaries here.

I know there's a lot you need to be disciplined about but you need those times in the sun too. Good on you!

im baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack :D
i have a sun tan! from wales?! YES haha
and today when we were leaving it started to rain and we have followed the sunny weather all the way back to staffordshire and tomorrow and sunday it is gona be 23 degrees heere. wooop woop.
i had a lovely relaxing time whilst still getting quite a bit of work done. i have done lots of walking/hiking/badminton/orienteering/running/cycling so didnt lapse on the exercise things at all although i did lapse on the food side. never mind.. its back to school on monday and time to get back into routine. :]
hope you are all okay - as for me i have got no idea how the weight loss is going as i havent weighted for ages and am going to weigh in on my traditional day which is sunday morning.
doubt i will have lost but it would have been nice to have stayed the same so i know i have a balance.

Oooo. A lovely busy active relaxing holiday. I'm so glad you enjoyed it. :)

I'm sure it will be good for your body regardless of whether you were strict about food and regardless of your scales!!
