thankyou girlios - its you aqnd here that help me to keep determined though - i would have deff gone completely off the rails if i never had this site to think about. i almost feel like i am betraying you all if i have a binge or dont exercise.
so today i have used up 500 of cals on breakfast..but then i dont think i will have time to have any dinner as i have to come straight from my college lesson back to school to take an exam and then straight from the exam to work. its gona be a long day. i have got fitness testing at college today as well. we have to run as far as we can in 12 minutes. im kind of looking forward to it but theres this one girl who always tries to race me and it frustrates me cos i just want me to do my best and her to do here best. we arent comparible.. she is a football player (she plays for liverpool for goodness sake-they are a premiership side) and i am an orienteer. our fitnesses should be different. also she is so much taller than me and we are a totally different build. grrr.
and ohmygod yesterday we had to do a body fat test...arghh .. nightmare situation! he got those caliper things out (you know those plastic things they have at the doctor that pinch your fat and give you a number) and then he measured all of the fat on our waiasts our arms and our backs. in front of everyone. my waist and back measurements were the lowest of all the girls :D
but my arms were pretty terrible..better get on and do some press ups....

Today's weird holiday is National Public Sleeping Day - a day that gives people permission to take naps whenever they want to... it's also Hump Day :)

they seriously are working for me guys! i thought when people were going on about eating nearly all the time but only very small amounts that it would be a gigantic amount of calories. today i have eaten like a horse and am absolute stuffed and my calorie intake so far is 1025 :cool:
i dont think i could eat another thing right now

This is what I do - I eat all day long - non stop usually - lots of fruit and vegies and low carb stuff - I can eat alot and be full and when i do this adn combine it with exercise I can drop weight consistantly - Im glad to hear you found what works for you!!!

I just read your diary a little more thoroughly and was intrigued by your switching to intuitive eating.

I'm thinking of giving it at try and will see at the end of the day how it adds up. Do you still measure portions?

I agree this forum keeps us on track. Today I'm a little weary from extra gardening activity but I'm STILL going to step class this morning. This is totally because of the inspiration I've found here.

You're doing awesome with your exercise and eating. Keep up the good work. I'll be tuning in for my intuitive eating advice.
 
national hump day ... what does that entail...
intuitive eating has made me a lot happier because i can eat what i feel like eating as long as i control my portion - i have found i am taking in less calories. i have never measured my portions really happy chubette .. i kind of just estimate. usually to help i take a small amount of what i want (sometimes ridiculously small) then go and eat it slowly...then i see how full i feel and take the amount i think i need. if i (or anyone) am ravenously hungry then i think that i will just take handfuls and not really think about the hunger.
and okay fair enough photo..but im still in your future right? cos we are ahead with time i think

Sorry about the competitive girl. I have a friend who is like that and it drives me crazy! I am more of a runner than she is, but she has her own sports in which she's better than me. It makes me mad cause she'll boast about her speed (which isn't that fast) and I am proud of her but she'll compare our times when I have walked for 10 minutes and she's just hopped on the treadmill and run as fast as she possibly can just to beat me. I am like well duh, I walked and you ran!!!! But I don't talk about me being better than her when I run faster than her. Cause like you said - it's not comparable!!! She beats me at other stuff. I am just focused on running. blehhhh.
Sounds like the body fat thing showed you were pretty low! Awesome. I remember having to do that at college and it was also in front of everyone in the class - that's just mean!!!

it is a fitness test measuring aerobic fitness and endurance. we had to run as far as we could in 12 minutes. i ran 2675 metres (1.7 miles) and was on the excellent scale :D
that is my brag of the day
 
everything i have done today has been wrong or bad
im so cross ive hated today i wish i could have skipped it and just gone for tomorrow

im glad somebody else experiences that too rachie..it can be so frustrating.
tammy you will do it :) you will be thee in no time. one day you will run a marathon :D
as you can probs tell i have left my negative mood behind in the night and have woken up to a fresh start
 
we both seem to have the same emotion these days lol :) i had a bad day day before yesterday but got back on track yesterday.
i'll be starting my gym in two weeks along with my aerobics :D and i'm really happy about it.
