and nice of you to pop in niapage hope to see you here lots more and vice versa of course.. dont worry about catchin up or anything i dont think there is that much. a few temper tantrums lol but thts about it :) at least there arent as many pages as wishes or m2ms jurnals!
so todays stats:
CALORIES IN: 1641
CALORIES OUT:2476
okay so not the 1000 difference i like to have but hey theres some difference so im satisfied.

size 8? whoooo hooo congrats girl :) i feel so proud right now :D

photo, don't worry about it. we all have days like that. be strong! :)

goal dates

so i know it seems like i havent got much to lose compared to others here but it does come off slower, i think, the less you have to lose.
so here are my goal dates (idea courtesy of emily - thankyou sweetie!)
February 13th (dads birthday)-119lbs
March 15th (Paris holiday)- 115lbs
April 8th (JK orienteering festival)-111lbs
May 5th (British orienteering champs)-108lbs
May 29th my 17th birthday105lbs:D

i'm sure you'll achieve those. and i don't care how much you have to lose or not. if it were only a pound i would still support you in same way :D i believe it is very difficult for an athlete to lose weight, and i consider you to be one :)

aww thankyou lena you have made me feel all smiley inside :D
you know i think when (note the when!-haha) i have lost the weight i will still keep coming back onto here to make sure i maintain it.
im really worried about when i go to university (okay its a yr and a half away) but so many people become lazy and drink too much and live off ready meals and fast food when they go and i really dont want to put all my weight back on

yeah that's student life for you. i'm a bit scared of it myself, because i might be going to my masters study in september for 10 months. but i'll try :D people there don't have time to eat the schedule is sooo busy.
but i'm sure we will cope just fine.

i didn't try fitday yet. opened it once, but didn't try it. i think i'll go and have a look now. i use more sparkspeople.

ahh.. well i have no choice really. you recommended sparkpeople to me and i went to try it but because i am under 18 they wouldnt let me join and barred me from the site so i had to use fitday. its quite good i think but sometimes i reckon some fo the calorie suggestions are way too high. you probably read about my fitday cheese disaster today. it said my calories were 2000 and i was like ohhhgoddd.

yeah i read it. cheeses are always somewhere in that range up to 500 cals per 100 grams. except brie or gorgonzola...they're abit heavier.
anyway, off to go now :) see you tomorrow. my medicine is making me drousy :)
good night. *hugs* Lena

One nice thing about all those preportioned foods is that they have the calories right on the label, and someone has taken the time to even box it up for you. In order to have some reasonably tasty food, all you have to do is learn how to microwave it to your preferences.
As for alcohol.. Well, those are some experiments and choices you're going to have to discover, but do yourself one big favor: Don't drink around people you do not trust completely. If you do, you're lucky if they just paint you up with magic markers.
You are so light, you can't absorb much alcohol; so if you do decide to go out drinking, make sure to do it with people you know and trust, and learn your limits. I know that part sounds like a public service announcement, but it is a lesson hard learned in life, and I do not want to sound like I am anti-alcohol (I'm not), but I do believe it is important to drink safely and know your limits.

Just remember that when it comes to eating a healthy diet that knowledge is your best tool ;) If you plan out a meal to have at each of the fast food places you are likely to go to, you will have a powerful tool in your hands. You'll also know exactly how many calories you are taking in. :D

yeah i totally agree q :)
so...if i knew i was goin out for a takeaway that nite then i would just make sure it fits in with my calories for that day.
as long as i have fit day then i am fine!!!!
sooo
today = weight in day
AND = race day
eeeeeeeeeee

results...

race postition: 3rd
distance covered: 7km ,200m climb

and also today was weigh in day
new weight = 119lbs
lost: 1lb :)
yay on target

okay so this weeks resolution/challenge is due.
here are updates of the first two weeks:
drink more water!
run before breakfast tuesday and thursday!
so number 3: pilates once a week. for core strength. so good for balance and prevent injuries.

:)
anyone joining me???

oh it will all go dont worry - how can it not when youve completely changed your lifestyle. sometimes it can be a bit stubborn .. like i worked since the start of jan and then suddenly after 3 weeks of lifestyle change i just dropped 5 lbs in one week!
i think that i have got into a routine now.. my body seems to have settled into losing one pound a week and my calories are averagin out at about 1600 a day.
so im happy for now. i'll just keep up what im doing until i reach a plateau (which i know i probably will do around the 110-115 mark) and then i will try something new.
