Chris...lol...I would love to have the pounds dripping off me even if it is accomplished by picking up dead oppossums off the road...hahaha. I have been really slacking on the excercise and need to start incorporating that into my daily routine. You are such a motivator..thanks a bunch :D
Amomono...I am finding it very difficult to increase my calorie intake...as I am analyzing eveything I put in my mouth and feel guilty if I eat too much.....I need to devise a plan of attack to up my intake.....3 weeks already eh....and I am still standing on my own two feet...thanks to you guys and your strong support system....what would I do without you ;)

Food for yesterday

breakfast:
hard boiled egg - 70
1 cup skim milk - 83
.5 slice rye - 40
coffee - 20
2 tsp sugar - 30
2 tbsp cream - 80

snack:
1 banana - 90

snack:
tangerine cup - 80

lunch:
none

snack:
1 long eng cucumber - 34

snack:
1 cup grapes - 110

snack:
8 peeled baby carrots - 25

snack:
30g of lowfat mozzarella - 86

Dinner:
1 corona - 146
1.5 cup homemade spaghetti - 350
(with meat sauce and parmesan)

total cals: 1244
total h2o: 1 ltr
exercise: none
 
Your fruits and veggies intake is really good..( we should all eat like that)...But I am going to tell ya something.....and please really think about this......if you would just start exercising..the difference you see in your weight loss will be amazing!!!!.....Not only will the lbs start falling off...but you will feel different inside too!!!!....Dont look at getting all hot and sweaty as a bad thing....sometimes I hate to exercise...but about 10 minutes into it I am soo glad I did.......And the other thing is....I also weigh in the 300s......excess skin is going to happen to me....however the fact that I exercise and am toning up it will not be soo bad.....
You can do this!!!! I have faith in you!!!
 
I was looking at all the great things you are eating and trying to think of ways that you could add just a few more cals here or there... not alot, but even just 150 more or so would be great... maybe you could have some dip with your veggies... you can either make or purchase hummus and use it as a dip, and it would add just a little bit... same with fruit - yogurt works really great with it (think McDonald's apples/grapes/yogurt thingy)... Another quick easy snack idea would be crackers and cheese... just throw a few more calories in there, or have just one handful more, and I think you'll be doing great =)
 
oh.... and if you had just gotten in lunch the last day that you posted... you probably WOULD have been around 1400-1500 cals... I think that you are doing much better, and just knowing that it is something that you are working on will help you be more attentive... good job!
 
Well it's Monday morning for me....(yeah its really tuesday but thats ok, its monday for me) Yesterday had my brakes done on my vehicle...ouch...just for the two back tires...360$...i was especially impressed when the guy called from the shop saying that my drums could not be machined anymore and I needed new ones...... :eek:
Put up a ceiling fan in my bedroom...ended up returning the first one, as well I am so tall and frankly the blades were just a little too close for comfort...if ya know what i mean. so i got this other really cute one called a hugger...hense hugging the ceiling.
Last but not least i put some shelves up in the garage. My body was kinda achy after all that...so i deem that my exercise for the day.
So on saturday night I watched this movie on tv...was made and produced in Hong Kong...im not usually big on subtitles....but the title of this movie was ....love on a diet...LOL...it was actually a cute little story line about this gurl who fell in love with a musician guy, then he had to go to N america they agreed to meet in 10 years in hong kong...well 10 years had past and she had gotten quite large with the depression of missing him. Her mom is trying to find her a b/f. So a guy comes along who is bigger aswell.....she clings to him and basically he helps her lose all her weight and pays for her to go to a clinic she gets skinny and realizes she wants the bigger guy not the musician...I wont tell you how it ends as maybe one day you'll be surfing tv and see this movie....LOL

Amomono...I think dip is a great idea! I like yogurt too. Soooooo I hear congrats are in order for you missy!!!! I am sooo happy for you...your fellow is pretty lucky to have a gal like you, ...me and my egg cup wish you all the best and happiness in the world!
Ohhh jeeze...I just checked my email and my ex wants me to meet him in the park tonight at 7pm. Now my heart is pounding....grrrrrr....i wonder what he wants.

OK so I did meet my ex at the park. It was weird seeing him. Apparently there was no particular reason he just wanted to see me. We went back to my place and had a corona and uhhh... sex. Probably not the wises decision I have made but I am not kidding myself, we are not reconsiling, I guess it was just a physical need. I am okay...I AM OKAY....god it feels good to say that.
Chris...I dont talk to him or email him at all. We dont hang out like we're friends.

just be careful.....
your cals look good, need exercise! sex counts as some exercise, but you would feel so much stronger after working it into your schedule. I promise! (stronger physically and emotionally)

I am going to be blunt.....Were you horny or did you just not want to hurt his feelings by turning him down? When something is "over"....EVERYTHING should be over.......there can be no more sex...even if you view it just as a booty call......I feel that when exs have sex with each other....at least ONE of them has feelings still.....
Its not good for the one who still has the feelings and not fair for the other to take advantage of those feelings........( God knows I have been guilty of doing both).....just please be careful....you are too sweet and smart to have your heart broke again.....
Okay...Christinas is right about the exercising........This last month from me walking and going to curves has been heaven and hell for me......I still have blisters all over my feet...shin splints that bring tears to my eyes....I am sore....and sometimes it hurts just to sleep........but guess what ..I have lost 6.50 lbs...4.75 inches..and almost 1% of body FAT!!!!..i am starting to get muscle..and I more happy and positive than ever......if I was just to sit and not exercise..I wouldnt be enjoying those things.......Anybody can lose weight with out exercising....but to keep it off...and look toned and healthy..you gotta move!!!!!!!.......Go out dancing.....bowl.....walk the dog...put some music on in your house and dance by yourself......sweating is a GOOD thing!!!!......Come On you can do this!!!!!

Well good morning everyone!
Well yesterday was a normal food day for me until dinner. Every Thursday I have survivor night. I am in a pool at work - Brandon is my guy, he's a farmer so i do have a lot of hope for him. One of my friends comes over and we watch survivor and csi. We made buffalo wings i ate about 6 or 7 and then we made burritos....i had 3 of those...so im not sure how many calories, but im sure it was alot :confused:
Today i am going out for a work lunch, so I'll have to be very careful on what I pick as I have to make up for last nights dinner!
KC you are so right ex-sex is bad..bad bad bad.
I have decided tonight I will go for a walk and start getting my buns in gear!
Thanks for the extra push ladies, I have to get that last butt cheek off the couch/computer.

Yeah, you go start walking! I love walking, it's my fave form of cardio. Unfortunately, now since my body's so used to it, if I want to use that as my day's cardio work out, I have to turn it up - speed increase, put some incline on the treadmill. I like to get on the bike and change the resistance. Something tells me I should get on an elliptical machine because I'd get more of work out.

I"m so glad you're doing this!! Way to go! You're doing great. Just every little bit that you can do will add up and show results. I throw in little walks in my day. If I didn't make it to the gym, at least I moved around a little more. I work in an office, sitting at a computer all day, I have to get up and move!

How's your day been so far this morning? Any plans?
 
I watch Survivor every thursday too......my fiance is from Guatemala....( its true about latin lovers..lol..).......Out of the girls ...I really like steph because she is a really toughie....and I like the nurse lady...( probaly because both my brother and sisiter are RNs....(.....As for guys.....I liked Bobby John in the last Survivor...but this year....nada......Is Brandon the farmer guy??....I thought Brandon was the one that got hit in the shoulder with that plant........

I have been in a major slump over the past few weeks. Same BS regarding the ex. It gets tiring to hear over and over (i am tired of it) so I figured I would spare you guys the torcher. I have not been feeling very positive and the last thing I want to do is drag anyone else down with me to the trenches of dispare.
I dropped a few lbs and wanted to record it feeling okay about that.
I hope things are going well for you, for everyone in fact!
 
oh girl,..... right now it seems like we ALL are having some sort of issue going on.... I think its in the air or something... We could all use a good crying session! LOL
 
hey girl... stick with us! we can go through all of that crap together, and lose weight at the same time! =) we miss you...

A big hello to all my gurls, thanx for all your support.
Its been a while since I have posted. The battle of the bulge has been a war of attrition. But I am slowly winning. It's nice to be the the 200's! I still have a long way to go but feel motivated enough to go all the way. Been doing some hiking...here's me at the top of Teapot Hill.
