Smiling's Diary

Its awesome that you get the chance to be on your own and do what you gotta do for YOU! I never 'allowed' myself, to have that chance. Was Always in a relationship, or doing something crazy. WIsh I knew what it was like to have my own place, my own freedom, and just do what I wanted...

Keep your best foot forward, and away you go!

Here's some pics of your dream boy! ;)

I’m sorry you never allowed yourself that chance.....you can live vicariously though me then !! ....nods her head vigorously!!
How is your weightloss going? My sister told me pineapple is really good for you...its eats away at fat....have you heard that?
Have a great day Chris :D

I've heard this about grapefruit, but you have to make sure you get your water in or you may end up with a urinary tract infedtion.
But one timeI went on a diet called the Mayo Clinic Diet and I lost 17 pounds in 2 weeks. Then I gave up and gained all my weight and then some!
So I still try to work grapefruit in the diet, and other fruits and veggies too. I am going to do it the slow and healthy route this time around! ;)

Hey, I have a question about your hard boiled eggs... I never make them, because I'm afraid it will take too much time - do you make them a head of time and just have them in the fridge, or make one each morning?
you're doing great though! I'm gonna keep saying this, even though I know you know - but do make sure you get enough calories =)

keep up the good work!

Thanks for your question Amomono. I prep everything the night before..right down to piercing my egg, having a pot on the stove with water ready, my egg cup & milk glass (which holds exactly 1 cup which is handy) all ready, even my vitamins are set aside and my coffee is ready to go. Same goes for my food for the day all veggies are washed and cut the night before. If I didnt do this stuff the night before there is no way I could do it all in the morning. I get up at 7- 7.15 and have to be at work by 9.

SBCGurl, it's good to see how well prepared you are! You are doing amazing!

I never heard of piercing an egg, or an egg cup! I just put some eggs in a pot of cold water, bring to a boil, cover, remove from heat, let stand for 15 min. and cool off in cold running water. Then you put them in the fridge and youre set for a few days. You take one out, bang it on the counter, peel it, and voila!

Good Morning Everyone,

What a great way to start a friday...I stepped on the scale...4lbs less...sooo that has pretty much made my day.....im grining from ear to ear.
LOL...Chris ...the egg piercing...so the egg does not crack when boiling....as for the egg cups...both my parents are from Germany.....lol I guess its a european things...as far as I can remember we had little egg cups for our eggs....hahaha those crazy krauts!

Have a super day everyone!

I am soo happy for you!!!!!...4 lbs that is wonderful!!!!...As for the egg cups...I thought people like Queen Elizabeth still ate from them and the rest of us just collected them....lol......
Keep up the healthy living....What kind of exercise do you do?
Curves is great!...No men, No make up, No mirrors..women of all shapes and sizes..and ages....and it is for just 30 minutes at least 3 times a week..( you can go all 6 days if you want).....When I first joined in Jan.2004...I weighed 336.....in 5 months I was 296 lbs.( 40 lb weight lost AND 32 inches lost)...I quit oct.2004..( I was moving)....and I started back up in august 2005....and found out I gained only 10 lbs In almost a year....( which for me was not thAt bad considering how I was eating)....
Weight Watchers is a great tool....I had lost 20 lbs there...my dad lost 80...Since I have all the major things I need to track my "points"..I dont go to any meetings....
I can eat pretty much what ever I want as long as I dont go over my points....the healthier something is the less points it costs you...so what happens you start making better food choices.....
But what ever your doing now sounds like it is working..so keep it up

Allyson has a story book that shows a kid eating an egg in an egg cup, and it says "an egg is for dipping". She asked me what does that mean, I had no idea! LOL

hon! where are you at?! we miss you!!! And I miss hearing crazy stories about piercing eggs =) hehehe... You are doing so great, and I hope you come back and tell us all about how good you have been doing!!!

hey smiling...I just wanted to take a second to post. I'm going through a recent break up to and can comisurate (is that how you spell it???). Anyway, bad spelling aside, this is a time for YOU. It's a time for you to be healthy and achieve your own goals. I'm taking a break from men for awhile and I'm lovin it. It's nice to have so much freedom and space! As for weight loss...This is the time to do it! Each time you exercise or eat well just think of it as one step closer to a beautiful future and one step further away from an idiot ex boyfriend!

You Guys Are the Best!

Good Morning Everyone,

Sounds like you are doing good. Keep at it! Things will be better soon. It is natural and needed to mourn the loss of a relationship so don't worry, one day you will wake up and that saddness will have lifted. Also, the end of relationships give us the gift of change...imagine all the wonderful things in store for you that might never have been. Good luck with everything.

Hi Sbcgurl,
When you gonna start that exercise routine? hmmm? I'll put you to work, pickin up all the oppossums ! LOL j/k
You will be amazed how the weight comes off when you add exercise.... all that sweat dripping off, think of it as pounds!
You cal intake seems low still.... woun't that SLOW down your metabolism?
c'mon gurl... I wanna see you succeed! ;)

Running a little late today...but I did have time to step on the scale.....I have dropped another 4 pounds since my last weigh in..I am pretty stoked about that.I was not sure if I was imagining things but my cloths starting to feel a little looser. :D
I have another 8 lbs to go and I will be in the 200's...I cant wait to see that magic number 2.
I dont have time to post my intake for yesterday, I will do that once I get to work.

hey there sweetie! keep up the great work - I am so amazed at your preparation and ability to have all of those really great foods - like radishes and other veggies... way to go!!!

I think that Christina is right - you might want to do something to boost your metabolism, like eating a few more calories =)

I can't believe it's been three weeks already - see, you are making your way and doing great without him =) we love ya babe!
