Hi, Alicia! Just stopping by to see how your week is going. I agree with the advice Mrs Bear gave you on using weights. I just began strength exercising, too, and I pretty much started at the beginning with 1-pound weights. My muscles are so weak, so I'm hoping to increase the poundage as I go along. I do my exercises every other day, and I do exercises for all parts of my body during my routine. I'm up to 2 sets of 15 repetitions each now. After I get up to 2 sets of 20 reps, I'll go up in pounds on the weights and work up in reps again. I'm hoping that this will help tone me as I lose weight. I have so much to lose that I don't want sagging skin to be left after I reach my goal.
