Kate, I agree with everyone - don't fret the scale! You SHOULD be proud of what you've done so far and will do! You have busted butt and done an awesome job! I know you will keep it up and be where you want to be in no time :D
 
Has to be water weight--are you getting your period? I always have a jump during that time, then it dips back down afterwards.
 
Well apparently the water loves me these past few days, because despite 4 miles a day, despite my food being under 1200 Im still two over. However, I DID eat a big honkin dill pickle last night since I was so hungry. So that's gotta be it. I HOPE.

Yet another crappy day here. Foggy, cold, wet and yukky. Going to wait a bit to see if it clears some. I so hate this weather:mad:

Ive decided to do my best NOT to cheat this weekend. Not even a planned one. I want to see if it will help. I have plenty of chances to cheat the first weekend in March when I go visit my sister. Hopefully it will get my stupid scale moving, and I can start seeing the great results I KNOW I deserve!
 
Morning Kate! Sorry the scale is still sticking. Mine is too! :( Screw that darn scale right?!! Hey .. try what Paula suggested in my diary, and take your measurements!! I bet you will see an improvement there from your last ones and THAT should motivate you. I meant to take mine, but ran out of time this morning. :) Will do it tonight and post them! ;) Good job on avoiding a cheat this next weekend, I will keep my fingers crossed for you.. Hope you have a good day!

on Jan17th, they were 38 36 42

Feb 21 37- 34 1/2 - 40 1/2

So an inch off the chest inch and a half off belly, and inch and a half off hips.
Ill TAKE it!

WOW, I hadnt realized this! sure glad I wrote these down!!Not too shabby!

sorry to hear your frustrations. boy, do i understand!!! but stick with that attitude of yours "screw the scale", do what you know best and thing will move down and where you want to be...i'm living proof...SLOW proof, but at least some sort of something!!

also, don't forget, as many people reminded me, as you get closer to your goals (which you are), your body readjusts and it just aint as easy! i agree wtih NL to take measurements (but of course i still havent taken mine).

guess we should all listen to what we recommend! LOL.

hang tight. you are doing great!!!!!!!!!! look, you've lost TWENTY POUNDS. WOW!!!

Not too shabby at all! See, it's very possible that you're going through a little muscle gaining stage right now. I know you don't want to see the scale go up, but it's temporary and it doesn't mean you're getting bigger (see your measurements). You're doing awesome (as always)! Keep up the good work! :D

thanks yall for the perspective I needed. I really do too. I can sit here on my computer and throw advice around allll day long, but when it happens to me, I forget every dad gum thing I said to others. I will always need that help. And its good to know that its only a keyboard away for the asking.

Exercise:
3 Miles fast. Did my fastest ever, only 46 minutes, hill included. Personal best for me anyways. Didnt jog, otherwise it would have been faster, but I wont count that if I jog. Also happy to say that two days now, NADA problems with bp. I mean, its still low, but apparently my body doesnt mind it. Never got tired once! yeeha!:D

Way to go on those measurements! ;)

Wish I had taken measurements way back when. For some reason, the only one that I did was around my stomach and hips. :rolleyes:
 
awesome job kate. sounds like you got in a great workout and didnt have any bp issues and NOT tired at the end? wowwweee...

Hey, I see Skyler mentioned you possibly not having any BP problems. I haven't heard you mention that too much lately either. How is it going? Seeming more under control lately??
 
:( Still no drop in weight. I am at my wit's end, and not to mention hungry at night! Im fine all day(feel great), drink all my water(gallon a day), eating between 900-1200 a day, doing 3-4 miles a day, and am increasing my speeds. I really really think its water too, and TOM is long gone, so who flippin knows. scale is sayin 149 this morning, thats worse than yesterday:mad: I was at 146 two mondays ago. Perhaps its my scale? DAMMIT! I KNOW Im doing all things correctly. Ok, Enough rant..on to what is GOOD for today!

I "feel" so much better these days. I KNOW losing as much as I have IS something to be VERY proud of! I really DO think this weather causes me to retain water, is that crazy? Its very humid and I sweat a LOT during my walks despite it being very cold. I am fitting into clothes I couldnt fit into over the holidays. I really Do see a difference in me. My BP is doing beautifully. Even when the numbers are low, my body doesnt react badly or get tired. Im more fit. I look better in the face. Soooo, I am on a mission today to read about plateaus and see what ELSE I can do to boost things along. Cause I DO know this is very temporary. I DO know the weight is coming off. I DO know I am doing great with my food and exercise. I truly CANT go any lower without harming myself. That much I do know.

Thanks yall for all the encouraging words. I KNEW this was going to happen, as it always does with me. In fact, I can pretty much predict that sometime this month Im going to start seeing some dramatic drop offs again. I KNOW this is coming!! Its just getting through this rough spot that is so hard! But with a lot of help right here, and a lot of studying I can do this!!
