Startin off happy this morning. Like most everyone here the weekends are the real challenge. If I can just get thru Sun. night, then all of next week is behind me. Im a tad worried because, #1 I had beer Friday while yakking for almost 2 hours with sis. #2 Ate out twice last week. But at least made healthy choices, even if I DONT know what they actually had in it. #3 I lost 3 pounds last week, so weigh in tomorrow is most likely going to show at most one pound. which is fine because three pounds is quite a bit really on a small frame. this aint my first rodeo:D

so far, at seven thirty am, I havent done a flippin thing. absolutely will do 3 miles today tho. hopefully more, but we'll see. was kinda thinking of going to lake with skates for me and my son and skating for a while later on.:eek:

havent kick started my breakfast yet..so must start that too.

i COMMAND everyone here to HAVE A GREAT AND PROGRESSIVE WEIGHT LOSS DAY! .....oops, Im not workin yet....;)

OK...so I was like still asleep at 7:30 am. But nevermind that. Hope your weigh in goes well. Eating out can be hard. I ate out last night...I didn't make the best choice...but I didnt make the worst either. I gained a pound since yesterday! Drat! How did that happen? Just from one meal? Grrrrr. Happened last weekend too. Exact same thing. I guess I could give up eating out on Saturday evening, but that would likely mean I would have to then cook...so its doubtful.

hey, why dont you make your weigh ins on saturday mornings just before your 'fun night' and it wont mess with your head so much! just a thought...
 
wanted to write this down for future reference....

my walk went AWESOME today...sunny in the upper 60s, and gorgeous. felt light as a feather. 3 miles and 12 steps sets.(ran some here and there too!)...heres whats wrong..

on the way back, i do the last mile slow, as it is uphill...and its like my cooldown...anyways, today, as well as a few times before...the whole core of my body starts to hurt....it isnt back muscle pain or lung pain, just an overall TIRED pain... i figured out what it is...

my stupid bp, right after i get home, registers really LOW. right now it is 85/64. my pulse however read 100. now this is just minutes after my walk...so im still sweaty and breathin kinda hard. its starting to piss me off. I start off feeling sooo good and then this crap hits me. gonna keep registering when this happens so hopefully i can pin point a time of the day it doesnt happen so much. took my meds at 730 am aned walked from 1030 to 1145..

also noting that im kinda dizzy as well when i get up...didnt have a lot of water so far(2 big glasses) and not much for breakfast(tho i left the house feeling full:mad: ) so need to keep trying this until i can figure out when a better time to do this is....and all the rest of the day, my bp is nearly perfect. it only goes too low when i work out. go figure:mad:


on another note...jacklyns diary inspired me to post our goofier pics ...this is my oldest son, (the riddler) his gf, and my daughter is the lil devil...

Oh Kate, u r 2 FUNNY!!! LOL Love the 120 pic!!! Your kids look just like you :D I always hated it when people said that about me but, alas, it's true:rolleyes: LOVE your "workin'" pic!!! ROFL BEAUTIFUL :D :D

It's good that u r tracking when your BP is low,etc. Maybe doc might have some suggestions as to how to "fix" it only when u workout......

As for your "command" :D I consider it done and command you to do the same!!! :p :D Good luck at weigh in tomorrow.... I weigh in tomorrow too - I think I was out of it when I set my "weigh day" for monday!!! One "good" about it is it forces me to be better on the weekends than I would normally. :D

know what? im gonna do it too..change my weigh in day. to fridays. cause fridays are kinda my cheat day so....ill go ahead and weigh in tomorrow, but again on Fri. what the hey, right?

my ongoing saga of trying to figure out what the mattah with me...

just got back from a 2 mile walk, lots of jogging inbetween fast walking...not an ounce of pain. so confirm that it isnt muscle pains.. got home..and bp normal, 117/81. hmmm..hope this doesnt mean i may have to forego morning walks.,.dont like that. will still try to walk in the morning, so nyah!ptttttttt...

Good luck figuring out what is wrong! I have had some weird days where I feel all dizzy after exercising, but i don't feel that way until I stop. Drinking lots of water seems to have helped.

Im shameful, I know...well....*sigh* I guess Ill have to change the ol ticker again, because I lost another pound! I kinda figured it would only be one, because three was a little more than normal for my size. so that makes me 151, and Ill TAKE it! Im sorta bummed that Im still not in the 140s but that just motivates me to get movin so I WILL be at least close to that this Friday..my goal is to lose one pound more by Friday, which is my NEW weigh in day. I think Im gonna do it too!

Oh, and btw, my H suuure does seem awfully interested in me lately *wink wink* and sure, part of it is the weight loss, but I think mostly its my renewed confidence and thats just FINE with me! Im in love with that rascal after nearly nine years like when we were first together. It helps my moods and determination to get 'accosted' at the stove while Im cookin! :D:D

ok, off to change my ticker, as meager as it is, Ill TAKE it!

You're doing awesome. I am curious about how your BP will be today when you walk later. If it remains normal, I"m wondering if you are just walking too early in the mornings. Do you get up out of bed and head for a walk asap? or do you get up and get moving an hour or so later? Just curious.. if your body just has to "adjust" itself frmo all the sleeping, to getting moving. But as I'm no doctor.. I have no real idea! :p

darlin I soo feel for your struggles. I guarantee Im gonna hit a plateau eventually myself, and will have to come in here and read what it took to finally break yours. Im really pulling for you!

yeah, the first go around with first marriage wasnt really a madly in love thingl More we were great friends,and all. But this time around Ohh man, he rocks my world, and just a kiss on the neck sends me with shivers down the spine, and butterflies in the stomach. It doesnt hurt that I find him incredibly attractive! I knew at 34 Id met the man Id love forever. Been a long hard road, but we seemto be able to grow together. He loves my kids, too, and I couldnt have it any other way. My younger kids even call him Dad. (we share youngest D)


wow Im mushy this morning. I make jokes about him here a lot, too..the golfing and such.. but really is my Knight in Shining Armor for sure!

Now if I could just get him to take out the trash...:rolleyes:
 
hey newleaf!

no, I could NEVER just hop up outta bed and go walking. cause first Im mean when I first wake up, and second, my heartbeats are a good 90-95 beats a minute, and its a real crap feeling.

so yeah, after my coffee and breakfast I go. WOke up a little late, and just had coffee, so still need breakfast. I really just wait until the grr feeling subsides and Im ready to go....
