wow thanks for all the well wishing! that makes how i feel, much better!

I still feel pretty bleh,and didnt walk for today, but eating sure wasnt a problem. I had very little because messed up bp makes for very little appetite. I slept a lot today, and I think that really helped me a lot.

I hope you have a quick recovery, but don't push yourself back into exercize before your body is ready.

I do feel better as the drugs get out of my system. I think I might just have to get my butt down to the lake for a walk tomorrow morning! Im gonna give it my best shot.
Tru, just nice and slow does it...until I can speed it up. I totally understand how important listening to your body is. My eating is good, and my want-to is even better!
 
Isn't it just such a pain in the butt to have to deal with getting your medicine to the correct level?! I've been dealing with that for about 6 years now for my hypothyroidism. The dose of synthroid I am taking is either too high or too low. The same stupid dose is sometimes to much and other times not enough.

Anyways, thanks for posting in my diary. I will be drugged up on pain meds for a while but I will try to remember to check in on you from time to time. It looks like you are doing an excellent job with your food choices and exercise. Keep up the good work!
 
I concur on meds...pain inda butt. But GOOD NEWS!!!!!

I apparently on something that gets my bp down to 120s over 80s today, and nice steady even pulse!!!!

I blasted down the road on my walk today, and felt a little squeamish coming back, but think its lack of food. But I purposely ate a small breakfast because its my daughters bday and I WILL have a small piece of cake.Figure its about 300 cals for a small piece.

busted a reward incentive and had four miller lites with brother, who unexpectedly showed up last night. Ah well, it was an enjoyable evening, and I only barely went over 1200. No biggie, as the way I see it, sometimes life hits u with pleasant surprises and a lil fun never hurts. Only bad habits do.

I thought it was interesting that you said this because I just read something similar this evening. That eating less (fasting) helps cure high blood pressure. Here's the link I was looking at.



Anyhow, I know fasting is easier said than done, but I just thought it was interesting that your body was signaling for you to eat less when your BP was high. wow
 
wow, miss jb, that IS weird!

Its the truth though! Anytime my BP gets dangerously high, I really dont wanna eat! That has been true for as long as Ive had high bp.

Yet another thing, though, is how 'light and airy' I feel when my bp is normal. Its a great feeling, really.

I dont know about the fasting tho. I hate how I feel when I dont eat and want to walk. I am thankful the new meds are working well.

no walk yet. pulse was a little high this morning.

need to eat more, not real hungry yet, just finishes another kind of slow 3 mile walk. need to record that pulse at rest is still spiking at 90s, but should be upper 60s - 70s. Hoping it will eventually go away, after some time. Pulse and bp also higher when first waking up, but sp normalizes within thirty min. of taking benicar(25mg) and hctz.
bp normal at 3pm. resting pulse is now 63 just after walking 30 min ago.?????
