Greetings all. I'm brand new here. I'm currently deployed with the Navy on a ship with VERY limited weight training equipment but we do have treadmills, elyptical striders, spinning bikes and step machines.
My regular workout consists of 30 minutes on the strider or treadmill at varying speeds and 1.0 degree incline and 30 minutes of walking with a 5.0 degree incline. I wear a 30 pound weight vest during my workouts.
I feel I need to include some sort of weight training in my routine but I don't have a clue as to what exercises to perform, (other than push-ups, sit-ups and pull-ups).
So, I'm just looking for some suggestions.
Weight training on a ship traveling at 30 knots through rough water is a quite an experience.
Mahalo.
