Hello :) I'm in the Vegas challenge to, thought I'd drop by. I work for GNC, so I don't want this to sound all sales pitchy- but I've been doin the active vitapak(its a few pills tho) and its helped me soooo much with energy. I always forget to take it on the weekends and I can totally tell! BLEH! ANyways, you seem like you've been doing really good- keep it up :)
 
Well I've started HipHop Abs and been doing some resistance bands with my Slim in 6 vids. I go walking everyday around the entire park with friends. We need to speed it up and maybe start jogging soon. The weather's been nice so we go everyday and since I had volleyball this past weekend, I've been doing warm-ups with the team. We lost though, came home empty handed and too many nights where I was up for 24 hrs this past weekend. I'm finally home and trying to get back into this routine again.

I promise, things will get better!! =)

I am actually very athletic and have very defined legs but it looks weird in pictures because my thighs are huge! lol Hip hop abs is a little slow for me and I'd rather just go out dancing!

I play volleyball in small tournaments around Wisconsin & Minnesota. I'm a newbie to volleyball though because I was always into soccer in high school.

Thanks for the tip, I think I've heard of vitapak, I'll check it out soon. I should be feeling like I have more energy but I'm always so tired! I think it's from the PCOS and I'm not taking any medication for it which sucks but I hate meds. =) Can't wait to see all of you in VEGAS!

Hopefully everyone had a good week. Sorry for not being online, just thought my battery had died on my laptop and tried it again today and it turned on! I'm also in the process of finding an apartment and moving back to school next month. I'm really proud of everyone on my team and the other teams for doing their best and taking it to another level. Thanks for all the motivation.

GOOD luck ON THAT master CLEANSE..babe...I KNOW how it IS...to SOMETIMES just WANT noooooooW RESULTS.....thats EXACTLY why I HAVE been trying to ELIMINATE the SUGARS and CARBS and SALT and ALCOHOL..........and FUNNNN OUTTA my LIFE :(...but HEY GOOOOOD LUCK!!!

Hey SheMoves! This is my first visit to your diary so I thought I would show a little love. Sounds like you got exercising in the bag...you just need to firm up on the diet, but don't we all? Diet is my #1 issue right now.

As for low energy, I take Cytolean. It's an energy/fat burning pill that I picked up at VitaminShoppe. I know most people are against these types of pills but they work for me. I don't drink coffee, tea, or soda, so the cytolean gives me a pick me up in the morning and helps me work out a little harder. It also has something in it that puts me in a really good mood. LOL

Here is the advertisement blurb: Cytolean promises to burn fat, reduce appetite, increase energy levels and induce a unique "feel good," euphoric effect that is sure to take the industry by storm.

I also take a multi-vitamin, and a calcium supplement. I use the VitaminShoppe brand women's vitamin cuz I find that it doesn't upset my stomach like other multi-vitamins. You'll have to find one that works for you. A word of advice...never mix vitamins and soda. I did this twice on accident a few years back and immediately threw up. LOL!!

Keep doing what you are doing and crank down on the diet!! Can't wait to meet you in person in Vegas! OOUUU!!
 
Thanks for all the support ladies, I didn't know people would notice when I was gone. Haha. Sorry. I've been busy doing the outdoors thing lately. Well I am actually going to start the cleanse tomorrow cause I still need to get all my ingredients together. I had to drive down to another city to go to Whole Foods before I could find Grade B Maple Syrup. I am going to do this, I really need the motivation. I work out but I have a really big appetite and I eat a lot! Hmmm well I will update daily frm now on so that I don't feel ashamed of not keeping up with the support system. So I've dropped five lbs this week and although many think it's not healthy, I did it by changing what I was eating. I cut rice out of my daily meals. I've been eating greens from mom's garden with very very thinly sliced meat... think Korean lunch. I don't know how to describe all the weird things I eat. I've also stopped eating after 6pm. I get hungry but I'm so tired from work by then that I can just knock out. If anyone has any questions, since I'm really not acquainted well with anyone on the forum, just let me know!! :D
 
Man, this is NOT easy. I feel like just giving up, it's like an every day struggle and I only have so much will power. I've been struggling with this weight issue all my life and even though I can get on a program and lose some weight, I'll gain it twice of it back and then go on another diet. It's killing me, it's killing me emotionally and I don't know how long I'm going to let myself do this. It's one thing to live but to live with the thought of being FAT really takes the good out of life. It's a constant reminder every time I try on clothes, every time I look at pictures, every time I'm compared to my pretty and very skinny sisters. Sometimes I just want to say "FUCK IT" let me live in whatever form I am, if everyone was happy about that, I would be too.

Sorry about all the rambling, I'm just exhausted from work and feel like whining because I'm so damn hungry!!

I have a freakishly skinny sister to, so I feel ya. Don't give up girl! You've been doing great- look at the five lbs you lost last week- I'm sooo jealous! Just keep goin, thats all you can do. As for being hungry- maybe you should make your nighttime eating cutoff like 8ish? You don't wanna totally starve yourself, just makes ya wanna binge more later.

I know what you're talking about. I've been heavy ever since I was 13. This time though, it's a lifestyle change for me. Sometimes ya just gotta realize, I can't eat the way other people can, my body doesn't work that way. So if I have to go the rest of my life without soda or fried foods, that just may be what I have to do.

And by the way, we ALL feel like giving up sometimes.... BELIEVE ME! BUT you can do this and you will feel so much better about yourself! You are a beautiful girl and you DESERVE a healthy body! YOU CAN DO IT!! ONE DAY AT A TIME HUN!!! Tell yourself, "Just for today I'm going to eat (insert healthy food here) and NOT going to eat (insert unhealthy food here). IF I REALLY want (insert unhealthy food here) tomorrow, I will eat it then."

I think you'll be surprised just how many days you can go knowing that the food isn't gone forever and if you REALLY want it, it will be there... tomorrow! GOOD LUCK and I'm glad you stayed in the challenge! :D Can't wait to meet ya in Vegas!!!!

Wow I can't believe I've been gone for so long! I feel soooooooooooooo bad for the VEGAS challenge Participants, esp for the Spartans. I feel horrible I left you all high and dry, life just took over me and I don't know what happened. Lots of things have happened since I was last on here, don't know if I want to get into that right now but let's just say, I need you guys more than ever.
