Shellsy's 21 day count down!

Gawd! I stink sooo bad! I haven't done a friggen thing! I stayed in all weekend with an awful ear infection, which allowed me to FINALLY finish all my laundry! I feel like I always have crap to do, and I just procrastinate.

The good news is; 1) Going to the ENT doctor today, so will be better in no time! 2) Had a meeting with my boss, that I have no desire to move to Sales! He was awesome about it! What is my position now-No idea :p But at least I'm not forcing myself to do something I hate, nor am I losing my job!!
3) The husband won't be home till later in the evening so I won't be lazy be lazy anymore!!

I really think I should just get my a$$ out of bed before work to workout! I have no problem getting up, but then when I see its still dark and freezing out it deters me!:rolleyes: And now that I have no one to rush home to after work I think maybe I should just go right from work-but then that stupid phobia of too many ppl at the gym takes over! Alls I know is I was looking at pics of last few summers, and I CAN NOT go another summer pissed off at how I look!
 
Early morning workouts suck, especially if you're not a morning person. How crowded is the gym at the time you would go in the evening?

Wait til you get better, I tried to work out last weekend when sick and felt really light headed. I just came off of two weeks off.
 
I will relax since I have the ear thing going on! I have fainted many times from it before:eek: ! As for the am work outs-the idea of stressing out my body by rising early did weigh on me!! Plus I wanna use the sauna after, I can't see doing that in the morning!
 
I might as well post my diet as well-

B-One egg on one slice ww , coffee
S-one orange
L- romaine, fresh spinach and brocc., fresh mozz., red peppers, tomatoes, and a few black olives with pure balsamic. (I prob. am lacking in the protein)
S- Kashi bar
 
Definitely lacking in the calorie department shells. More eggs for breakfast, bigger more complete snacks, and definitely some kind of protein in that lunch. Try this:

1lb beef~96% fat free
1 large zuccini
1 large tomato
1/2 med onion
3 cloves garlic (I use garlic powder)
2 tbsp fresh basil (again I use season shaker)
1 tbsp olive oil

Medium-high heat brown beef for about 3 min. Add zucc, garlic, and onions and fry for another 8-10 min. Add tomato and cook until chunks begin to disolve, 3-4 min. Stir in basil, oil, and spices and serve.

I do this recipe but also add in broccoli. I dont like zuccinis but this is a great dish. I only use 93% ground beef as well. This is from (dont sue me Dr John).

You could cut the recipe into four serivings if you wish and use it all week.
 
That sounds VERY tasty!! More eggs-thats gonna be rough, but will do! I used to love making a crustless quiche-6-8 eggs, with whatever veggies and low fat shred. cheese-bake it in a pie dish and slice it up. Does that sound like enough? I eat as I drive lol-so I try to make it managable. I will checkout the site for more tips!!

Anyway-feel GREAT today!! Doctors went well! Might have surgery on my ear within the year-2nd try to fix my ear drum! Will know more in a few weeks.

Yesterday's dinner was not that great but not to bad since I was running around-
S-ww with pb
D-BLT w/cheese (turkey bacon) and a little mayo on 2 slices of ww
S-small dish of sugar free ice cream
Not usually a dessert girl but was ravaging by the time I had the BLT!

Today- (using whats left in the fridge)
B-cottage cheese with strawberries
S-orange and kashi bar
L-Turkey on ww with honey mustard and a side salad ( romaine with a few green olives and Italian dressing)

I really need to make a new list of recipes-I'm bored! I'm gonna take a look around today to come up with new ideas!
 
Notmuch topost, just food. Today is so yucky out!! Its all ice and I hope to go home early!! I feel dizzy and have a massive headache. And I also feel extra hungry today-weird!

Ok lets hope I will be able to count down to day 20 by tonight! I'm not doing full body till tomorrow, but tonight I was either going to take Cardio Kick Boxing, or a stability ball class. I'm thinking the ball class-I like working the core out, and jumping around being new at this again SCARES me! :p At this point anythings better then nothing!

Food- Not going to dare post what I had for lunch and dinner yesterday!:eek: I swear that bad weather made me extra hungry!!

Today-
B-slimfast low carb shake
L-ww wrap w/ham,cheese,let,tom,and mustard

I usually am not this low in the food dept. nor do I eat out for lunch-But I haven't been able to prep my week! Plus for dinner I have been just plain bored! I have some nice new reciepes to work on and have a 3 day weekend so I should be much better next week!
 
Day 20!

YAY!! (does a dance) Finally worked out! I took a stability ball class that kicked my a$$! the instructor was cool too-we're going to take the belly dancing class together next week! I tell ya I've taken lots of pilates ans yoga classes before, but this class was crazy! She had us in poses I never thought I could do, actually I barely could LOL! She said next week I should be able to no problem. I'm looking at it as a goal, cause it was depressing I was one of the youngest ones there and the older ladies schooled me. :p

Had a great night, cooked a great steak with a LITTLE bit of garlic mashed potatoes (home made) and green beans!! I have no idea what is on the menu today-its 9:30am and I only had coffee:eek: -not good! Was running late!

Looking forward to my 3 day weekend! Giving myself a little makeover with the hair and going shopping! Always fires you up to look good allover!:D
 
Yup the stability ball isn't just for crunches anymore lol. The instructor for the pilates class I take did a ball class - it was challenging to say the least, but a good workout. Stick with it though and it will pay off.

I'm so tired right now! I had a shake for breakfast just a little while ago! Could it be from lack of food or just being sore?? I seriously can put my head down and doze!
 
Been eating really well! Lost about 3-4 lbs not exactly sure cause I was avoiding the scale the last couple of months-but knew that I was around150's! Amazing how 10 lbs can creep up on you! Since its the weekend dont feel like posting all my food-but I will say this, the hubby made me steak n eggs this morning that were to die for!! I never had that before, it was so good!! Today I'm going to buy some whey! Going to make protein bars and soy shakes this week, can't wait!!

Tomorrow doing full body as well as Wed. and Friday! My sched. allows this week those days! My sis-inlaw might work out with me Wed.-I would love a buddy! Let's see!:D
 
Steak and eggs is one of my favorite breakfasts - the best I had so far was out west in Wyoming - at one of those places that looks like it's in the middle of nowhere... but the steak and eggs were excellent.
 
Nice to see you back here. I haven't been keeping up, but it looks like after reading all of your posts you are getting back into things. Unfortunately I need to do that too. Congratulations can't wait to see your progress. How is the new job, last I knew you were training your replacement. How is the puppy?
