Shell's diary

Shell was the game for the Xbox or the playstation? I had a look the other day and I couldn’t see it anywhere. I no we have it here because I have seen it advertised on TV. Have a good week.
 
I have been doing better with my lifestyle changes. I am getting past my plateau and losing again. I have been eating lots of fruit and veggies. I have also been eating protein in moderation and not the fatty stuff. I am at 144 with 24 more to lose and think I am heading in the right direction now. I have also started exercising again, starting out slow this time. I started out at what I could do before my lil man was born and that is just too much. So now I am doing much better. baby steps :)

Breakfast:
Banana with tbs. pb.
watermelon wedge
coffee :) (need the extra pep in my step)

I"m Back On Track!!!!

:D I haven't been here in ages but I am making a come back! I am at 142, slow and steady. I hope to get back on track and I have a new eliptical now as well so that will help, no belts for this one! I have also invested in some new tapes as well. I will type more in the morning! I'm very excited to get started again!!!!:D
 
Alright, Today so far has been good, woke up a little late though:( . I have done the sliptical for 6 mins while the kids were eating breakfast (exercise machine is in the living room:p .

Breakfast:
Cereal
milk 1%
Coffee (can't function w/o it)

As forcasted so far~
Lunch:
Turkey sandwich
orange or apple
Lunch was exactly what I planned, and very good. I exercised for another 40 mins on the eliptical and did some arm exercises. I feel great!

Dinner:
Salad w/
chicken, egg, cheese
low fat dressing

I just have to get used to drinking more water. It has always been an issue. It's like for the first half of the day I drink coffee and then the last half is water. I need to change it up. I am thinking of finishing my exercise this afternoon when my youngest is napping or tonight when they go to bed. I am going to log 45 mins today, which means 39 more mins to go:)

hey honey! when did you come back, just today???? how are the kids and hubby? i see you made it through the holidays without any damage - WTG!!!!! AND you weigh less than when you left. :)
 
Yes i did make it back and have actually lost some more weight. Thank you for taking notice!:D I started posting again yesterday. I need some help to get the rest off, some inspiration and support. This site is really great. I see you have made great progress as well, congrats!!! I hope soon to be where you are:p My kids are doing great, baby boy is now 1.5years old and my daughter is 4. They keep me busy, my daughter in school and in dance. My son with just getting into EVERYTHING, I think you forget after a while just how curious they really are! Hubby is doing well too, like the new shape on me. It has inspired him to get into shape, he has lost almost 30 pounds. I am also starting to get into some, stress some cause it's like 2 pairs of pants that fit before the lil' man was born, they were my blah day pants. Thank you very much for taking notice! :p

I hope to log another 45mins on the eliptical and maybe at least 20 mins do some weights. In addition to losing weight I need to majorly tone up. And, drink more water!!!:eek: Fingers crossed thattoday goes well, I am looking forward to the challenge starting Monday!!!:D

I have only done 20 mins of eliptical today so far, I want to do the rest before bed. Well the only exercise I did before bed included my hubby :D I think it was the same as the last 25 mins of eliptical!

Haven't exercised yet today, we went out and did a few things before the snow started. It looks so pretty! I can't wait for the calories I am going to burn by letting my hubby off the hook and I shovel out the cars. Last night was fun, we decided to get a hamster. Our daughter wants every animal I think. We now have 2 dogs, 3 fish and a hamster. I told her 2 more aniamls and we will have a zoo! She said she wants a turtle next:eek: . I told her we have to wait and let Quincy(the new hamster) get used to his new home before we start getting more animals.;) But I am excited I had hamsters when I was little and I loved them. I like this one too but it isn't very friendly yet towards people. But, he will like us soon cause we got him a really cool cage with all the tubes and everything. I'm getting to excited, lol. :eek: Well hopefully today I can get in at least 45 mins of some kind of exercise. :D

Didn't get on the exercise machine because I went outside and played with my kids in the snow. I pulled them around on the sled, we really don't have any hills in our back yard, it's flat. But they had fun and I had a pretty good workout! :)

I did 30 min. on the eliptical last night and today I think I am going to do some yoga. My legs are feeling very tight. I know it will help my arms as well.
I think I am going to pass on the eliptical tonight and just do the yoga. I was a bum today and took a nap with the kids. I am going to do the yoga tonight before bed to get relaxed to sleep. Hopefully the nap didn't do damage! But I did drink a ton of water!

consistency is key, sometimes thats what i have a problem with. we got 17 inches of snow this past weekend, did you get a lot too? lost power for a bit, lost my darn internet connection too! kids have a snow day today.
 
I definitely have an issue with being consistant! :confused: I have been getting better though. I got a new eliptical and put it in my living room, lol. It worked cause I do use it a lot more. We got around 6 inches of snow. By the time we woke up in the morning the roads were cleared on Sunday. My daughter had school today normal time, I kinda wanted to sleep in. :p
Last night I showed my husband the weight loss challenge I joined and for the first timehe told me that he was proud of me for taking care of myself and doing something for me. He said I needed to put some focus there. It made me feel good to hear him say that. :)
I have to say Wonderwoman you are definitely inspiration for me! You are now where I would love to be. Thank you for your post!

Well I didn't exercise last night like I planned but I did lift some weight and do a lot of stretching. This morning I woke up and I'm back to 142, I got up to 143 there for a while. But today house been the house cleaning exercise, and yes I have broke a sweat, yuck. But it feels good. :eek:

Well hopefully today will be a good day. I am definitely going to work my butt off. My best friend isn't being very supportive about the weight loss. Kinda hurts my feelings, she told me I was being obsessive cause I was counting calories to make sure I wasn't eating to much. She is making me doubt myself.:mad: Kinda makes me not wanna talk to her sometimes.:( Afternoon workout today and eliptical tonight!
I have now hid the chocolate. Tonight has to be super healthy and I'm about to go do some of Billy Blanks Bootcamp, wish me luck!

if anything chaps my a$$ its unsupportive friends. I have a 'friend' like that. Ill tell you what it is...the person Im speaking of could stand to lose a few, doesnt want to commit to it, and therefore doesnt have the mind set. For her, its a competition thing. She doesnt want to see me thin because she'd rather I look like she does. It's sad because I will mention that Ive already lost 20 pounds, and she quickly changes the subject. Or invites me over for some cheesy buttery Mexican food! grrr:mad:

Let it make you MORE determined to lose! Show her what youre made of!!
 
She is one of those people that good lose a few. It's just really UPSETTING. It does make me want to work harder to show her you know, look at what I did. :p I have just decided not talk to her about it anymore. If she notices than I'll be like yea I lost a few. Then change the subject on her. She bought the eye toy workout game for the playstation which is a game that puts you on the tv with a "personal Trainer" but they are computer people. It gives you a workout program and everything, she has used it twice and now won't touch it. Makes me mad, I have x-box and they don't make it for x-box, only playstation. Oh well, at least I know I will bve healthier and happier for my kids! :D

Last night was an awesome workout. I did 45 mins on the eliptical and did 3.75 miles. I felt really good after that. This morning before breakfast I did a mile on the eliptical. This afternoon I am going to try to do 20 min of yoga and hopefully some more eliptical.

I am very pumped. I think starting next week I am going t6o be watching a little girl during the week, she is about 3 or 4 months older than my son. She is under 2. Should be interesting. :p Hopefully today is a g reat day. I am going in Biggest Loser mode. Feels good. :D
I did 25 mins of yoga and my muscles were very tight. I feel better now though!
Didn't do the exercise this evening cause I am beat. Tomorrow I hope to get the exercise in the morning again.

I just realized we started similiar weights, are similiar now(im at 146) and both have same goal of 120....That's cool! Bet we both get there this summer, and I can hardly wait!

as far as watching two toddlers, youre a braver woman than I! That has to be the toughest age to look after!
