Well an update about the isurance thing. I drove around for 45 minutes trying to find the office and couldn't find and ended up coming home. I called them and told them that I couldn';t find the office cause the girl I talked to last night gave me bad directions. Well come to find out it is the same place that we have our homeowners insurance with. I am so livid rightnow. So now I have to drive back there again tomorrow cause they close at 1pm. grrrr. They wouldn't tell my husband if they used his social or not, so I made copies of everything I have and also I am going to get a letter on there letterhead saying that is was a false policy and that they will not use his ssn again. If they did use his ssn, I am going to report it to the police. I think the insurance place kinda knows that cause they are acting weird. :mad:
 
Wow. I hate when stuff like that happens. Someone used my moms name to get a phone and charged up over $500 and it went on her credit. It came up 3 times when they tried to buy a house. Even after the phone company ensured that they "took care of it". I hope you keep a file on all that has happened, include names of who you talked to, their employee number, and dates. Keep it for like 5 years and maybe for ever! Try not to let it get the best of you. After all, no matter what "the customer is always right" and also they should be able to give you all the info they have if you bitch long and hard enough. Little tricks I learned when I was a customer service rep. NEVER GIVE UP!
 
Hey there... i hope everything is getting taken care of with that insurance mess... what a yucky situation! I haven't seen you post for a few days... I hope that everything is okay! You are doing so well with your food choices =) Keep it up!
 
The insurance thing was cleared up and we recieved the cancellation notice in the mail yesterday. Evidentally there are three other guys at that place with the same name as my husband. Stupid people. argh.
My weight has stayed the same probably due to the fact that this weekend my mom made ribs and I pigged out. They were so good. But I have been doing better. I have been eating a salad or 2 a day, and eating a piece of fruit with breakfast every morning. So I am starting to feel better. I just need to get the exercising down again. But it is decent out this evening, I think we might take the kids out and play a lil soccer tonight. :p

Well I am doing alright. Better now. I was kinda down about the weight loss, and wasn't eating very healthy and not enough. I have been exercising though. It's been 3 times last week and then again yesterday. Today is house cleaning. I have maintained my weight, which I guess is a good thing. I just wish I was losing instead. I have to get back to cleaning. :(
 
Welcome back girl! Glad to see you! We're all back and ready to go! :) Good job on maintaining. I definitely know how you're feeling. Just keep up the exercise and do the best you can. Keep that chin up! :)
 
Well I haven't been writing much cause I am stil doing the spring cleaning thing. I didn't know that I had so much stuff. With last week I was doing some gardening as well. It was very nice outside.
I did a revamp of my diet and I quit smoking finally. I have been exercising pretty regularly lately and I am very proud of myself. I have also lost a pound as of this morning which is great. I am down to 152 :D . The feeling is great. I am almost to 149 which is under 150 :p . I know at 140 I can fit into some of my clothing it's just very tight. No room for big meals at all. lol. So everything is going pretty good here...I even have my husband eating a salad with dinner everynight! woohoo
 
that is so good that your husband is eating salad with you!!! it's nice to have the support =) You can do this and you are so close to your goals! keep it up! =)
 
Isn’t it amazing the stuff that we horde? Im planning on having a garage sale soon so I guess its time I had a clean out congratulations on your weight loss. :D
 
Sorry I haven't been posting on a more regular basis. I have been losing though. I weigh in at 149 this morning, my husband and I have weigh in days. 3 more weeks for our bet to see who will lose more weight and stick to their plan. If you win you get 25 dollars to spend any way you want. So far I am winning.
I have been exercising like I am suppose to and I finally took apart my eliptical and saw what was wrong and my hubby has to fix it cause I am not strong enough to stretch the belt back over the wheel. So I guess my daughter didn't do it. :eek: Well it is getting fixed today, fingers crossed.
I went my lady doctor last week and he really gets on me about getting to a healthy weight, I askled him how many calories I should be eating and he said like 800-1000. I was like "oh my". That isn't enough. I know that, didn't say anything cause he is a good doctor for the feminine stuff but I will stick to my 1400-1600 cal diet. I have 2 kids if I ate like that I would be sleeping all day. :eek:
And, yes I am still trying to clean up. Cleaning up after everyone everyday plus clean is tuff! But I did just get rid of some maternity and baby stuff. I am not having anymore babies, too many health issues the last time. Besides I love the time I am having with my kids right now. I think I am finally starting to get the hang of the at home mom thing, after 3 years you'd have thought that I already did. I guess I just let little things hold me back. My insecurities should keep her back as well.
I am trying to enroll her in Pre-K for next year but I have no idea what school she would go to or even who to call. In Maryland that would be easy but non not here cause there are so many schools and districts, townships, and everything else argh.
Well sorry about the ramble but caught up with you all on what has been going on over here. :p I will try and post on a more regualr basis and post in your diaries as well.
 
That’s terrific and you can sit there with a smug look on your face to mate, its easer for men to loose than woman so that must mean that you are working doubly hard at it. Well done.
 
149, how wonderful! I'm surprised you obgyn would recommend such a low cal diet, even if he isn't a dietian, any doctor should know better than that! 1,200-1,800 is normal for women, as recommended by the Food and Drug Administration. I think you're doing great! Good luck finding a school for your daughter!
 
Doing good today. For breakfast I have been eating frosted mini wheats with strawberries and 2 cups of coffee. Lunch I have been eating salad but Slim Fast meal bars were on sale for 2.89 a box so I bought 2. I think I will have those with an apple or salad for the rest of the week. Dinner has been at most 4 ozs. meat, 1 cup cooked veggies, about 1/2 cup carbs and a small salad. So I think I have been doing pretty well. Snacks have been raisins and goldfish. I exercised for an hour yesterday to the Firm Cardio and Weight DVD, it was so hard. My tummy still is sore and my felt like noodles when I was done. Today will be yoga and pilates. So I am proud, I just have to remember when you do it right, it takes a lot of time and hard work. A long road ahead! Well I am down to needing to lose 29 pounds now, which doesn't seem so bad. Not very far fetched. :D
