Sheila's Weight Loss Diary!

I was just wondering about these the other day...lol. I'll have to give them a try. :) Welcome to the forum!

They are great. But make sure u only squirt alittle into your water and taste. add more if needed. The bottle says 1 squirt per 8oz (i think) which i found is to much flavor.

Thanks for the welcome.

Mmm maple. Delish.
Oh man 2 whole weeks of working out with that dvd? Your body is gonna look so rad. Go yooooou.
Make sure you're eating enough. That salad doesn't sound like a lot. Sorry to moan at you haha.

guess its time to figure out whats for dinner and go to the store....

Have you thought about planning for and making your meals in bulk? That's the way I do it (partly because I live alone and recipes for one are hard to come by- and also food is cheaper to buy in bulk), and I find it gives me a lot more control over what I'm eating. I have to think about it in advance because I have to get the stuff back from the supermarket (of course I walk to the supermarket so the amount of stuff I can get back is limited to what I can inflict upon my poor long suffering back- you may not have that problem), and quite often with meals for 6-8 there's a lot of ingredients involved. It also means that most meals I have, once they're cooked (which, ok, is a bit more work than cooking for one or two), only involve a quick run through the microwave, so I'm way less tempted to nip down the road to the fantastic Indian takeaway... or the traditional and well known (in my area) fish and chip shop... or into the high street for even more options I shouldn't have.

I think to some extent limiting your options, keeping it a little less spontaneous, is a good way to help your self control. (Not "no options"- tonight I had a choice between heating up Morroccan chicken or chilli con carne- and usually I have three dishes going at once, need to make something else- and having it with rice, couscous, or boiled potato, and having various vegetables on the side) Of course as with anything it depends on your circumstances (particularly people you live with, your/ their ability to cope with repetition, and fridge space), but it's a thought nonetheless. (To be honest, another reason I started doing it is because I'm lazy- it's way less washing up and ultimately works out to be less hassle- although the original meal is more hassle)

I have though about this, but i am the only one im my family of 5 that is on a diet so if i dont really have room to store the meals. I will cook two meals in bulk a week. i take these leftovers woth me to school for lunch.
Also i have been putting all my snake food in baggies. like pretzels, i put one serving in seperate bagies that way im not tempted to eat more at a time.
