Shawnna's weight loss diary...

Fantabulous! Good one...I'm gonna borrow it!

You are doing great! I think you need to do a filmstrip (anybody remember filmstrips and the projector in school?? lol) of all your pics in sequence from start to present. Well done!!!

btw....whats the tattoo gonna cost you when you are said and done?

Lol yeah, if I get handy with PSP I will do one...

And my tattoo runs $300 per session for as long as I can sit. Sadly I am a big baby and $300 only got me 3.5-4 hours last time, and the first session I sat 5 hours.... so about $900 total when I am all done o.0 yeah... crazy. But, it is worth it to pay more to get quality then to try and make a deal and get shitty work and shitty ink that comes out or fades.

3.5-4 hours of PAIN and you reakon you are a big baby?!? I could maybe sit there for 3.5 - 4 minutes of someone sticking pins in me! I'd be left with like 4 joined up dots saying "yeah thats just the outline, I'm going back to have it inked in one of these days"

For my b-day last year...my wife got a tailbone tat and 2 hours of work cost her 250. Its nice....purple flowers and ivy, but it doesnt have the colour variation like yours. You got a great deal! (And your artist is very good)

Have a great nite!

:p Well considering there are people who sit for like 9 hrs I am a baby! And I cried the second session lol! I was so mortified, at least my artist is a lady..

So today I finally had all you can eat sushi... I know what you're thinking "Omg, that is like a bajodfuigofillion calories Shawnna..."... well maybe you weren't thinking that, but I was before :p

Anyways, I had 1,600 calories to eat for the day. Decided I have not had sushi in FOREVER and I wanted it.... so I was going to eat it! Me and DF order in PLATES not ORDERS.... seriously, can you say :piggy:'s? So I got a plate of crab to start, I took about 70% of the rice from each piece off of the roll to save calories, by the end of the plate I had about a half a cup of white carby goodness, but I had a dilemma... I had to hide the evidence! You see, when you go to all you can eat, you pay a flat rate of $13 and can eat however much you want, but you cannot be wasteful or they will charge you per order... which would be about $100 by the end lol.... So I took my mountain of rice and put it on one plate and squished another plate ontop of it... lol, I am bad but I could not eat that rice! Too many calories and carbs!

So, then I got 3 orders of salmon (6 pieces), 1 order tuna (2 pieces) and just ate the fish and hit the rice evidence again. Me and DF got just one "bad" roll, a wayne's that has cooked scallops and tempura shrimp rolled in rice mmmm.... lol I ate about 4-5 pieces and I took some of the rice out of my mouth (I'm utterly ridiculous)... again, hid the evidence.

So, I am pretty sure I at up to about 1,200-1,400 calories... I am fine with that :) Also, today midday I weighed and it said 157.6 :D YAY!!! We will see what it says tomorrow, hopefully something with a 157 :D

Anyway, I had to make my confession... Lol, hey... people on a mission to lose weight will do some crazy things! Better watch out cause we may secretly feed that cookie or piece of pizza you gave us to your dog, or cat, or gold fish... must save calories!!! :p

Hope everyone is doing well!

Clever hiding the rice! lol!

Sounds like a wonderful dinner. (Even though I only tried it once lol I cant get over the raw thingy) And the green spread (I forget what its called) didnt go over well with my date at the time). As a matter of fact, it was when I was on vacation in Vegas....(quite a few years ago mind you) and it was supposed to be an authentic restaurant...so that threw me off a bit. Anyways...hope you enjoyed it.

So exactly how many sushi pieces you think you had?? lol

Have a great day!

All week I've been thinking about sushi, and then I come to your thread and see that you had sushi! Aw man! I'm outta here! LOL!

Gar, so I thought that the BS with this forum was over... I guess not because my thread that I DELETED was REOPENED.... BULLSHIT... whatever, I am not going to trip about it... just a little irritated and pissed off... people with power expressing their "almighty authority" again despite the wishes of the members that started the threads in the first place.... fucking ridiculous.

Body Fat Estimation:

Results:
Using your measurements of a 29 inches waist and weight of 157 pounds your body fat percentage is estimated to be 26.29 % using the U.S. Navy body fat formula, or 34.76 % using the formula developed by the YMCA.

Neither method is as accurate as a water displacement test, but is usually within 1-3% for most people. If you have a very small waist, it will show a low value. On the other hand, if you carry all your extra weight around your middle, you may have an elevated percentage. Please note that having this extra weight in the middle is a high risk factor for heart disease and stroke. The waist to hip ratio calculator can give you more information.

The average body fat percentage for U.S. females is around 32%, with the ideal at 22%. Athletic females should be around 15-20%. You could have an eating disorder if you are below 10%. Remember these are guidelines; your physician should help you determine the ideal weight and body fat for you.

I am nearly 27% fat... EW

mmmmmmmmmmmm I LOVE sushi - its my all time favourite but I can leave the rice and rolls stuff cold...its the sashimi (raw fish for those non-sushi lovers reading) that I can eat all day long...nothing beats tuna and salmon with a little bit of wasabi and soy sauce!

THanks for the replies guys,

So I stepped on the scale, wet hair, clothes on, with water and a pumpkin bread in my stomach and I am 158.8! So I am guessing I am pretty close to 156.xx even if it is only 156.9 :)

Today I felt really thin... here are some pictures...

First 2 new, second 2 old, last picture is a comparison from me at 170 vs 157

HAHA, Some say enthusiastic and some say narcissistic.. eh who needs the haters :p

And I dont know for sure that I am near 156, but I mean with clothes on, hair wet from shower, and food and water in my stomach at 158.8 it has to be somewhere near 156. something lol...

We will see tomorrow :p

Hey guys :)

I know I have not been on much the past few days... Not too much has changed except my weight! :) I am now 156.2... I didn't believe it at first but I moved it all over the place and that is what it is! Woohoo :) Yay for me, I will be out of the 150's in no time, size 7's here I come!

Lol, today in class was good. It did not seem as intense as usual, but it still killed me! We did weights and I upped the weight by 4 pounds, and when we were doing squats or laying on the bosu and bench pressing (bosu pressing?) my legs were shaking uncontrollably! I probably looked like one of those music video booty dancers, the ones that can shake theirs butts without moving anything else lmao... sorry, just my thoughts :p

This weekend was okay, went roller skating with my little from big brothers, big sisters and it was interesting. I didn't get much of a workout from it because she was scared to let go of the wall, but I held her hand and promised her I would not let her fall and would not allow her to hold on and by the end she was doing awesome! She was so happy to go without the wall and she told me she had a lot of fun, and in the beginning she went around once and didn't want to go back on the rink and by the end I told her one more lap and we have to leave and she begged to go around two more times before we left, it put a smile on my face that she gained that personal confidence... makes me feel good and helps assure me I want to work with children as a social worker/ therapist lcsw (licensed clinical social work).

:)

Weigh in is tomorrow for the month of June challenge, hopefully an even 156!
