Today was okay, I got on the scale and it said I was 165.6, which would mean I gained .2 pounds, but yesterday I did eat a lot of salt and some other things have gone on that would give me a false gain, so I decided not to include the reading. But, today I am all low sodium and am looking forward to seeing a smaller number on the scale. If I somehow managed to gain, then I really need to reevaluate my caloric intake because I am at a deficit to where with what I am eating and the amount I work out, I should lose 2.7 pounds a week easily. So, like I said, I am not worried about the number I saw today because I know the number was false.

Anyway, today I started summer school and it was 3 hours long! AHHH, on top of that because it is only a 2.5 week class I have my first exam on Thursday.... GREAT. Oh well, I managed to get a 3.7 for the spring semester, so I know I am capable of getting an A in my summer classes, I just need to work at it. Other then that, not too much happening.

Here is what I ate today:

Breakfast:

Turkey Burger Patty (120 calories)
V8 Juice (50 calories)

Snack:

Fruit Mentos (150 calories) :)/ again I admit, I am bad)
Pistachios (180 calories)

Lunch:

Chicken Kabob (250 calories)
Roasted Veggies (150 calories)

Which puts me at 900 calories... EKKK :| I have been low all week and now I am just really high in my calories!? ARG, oh well, I will just make sure to have a lite dinner because I only have about 450 calories left for the day, I am thinking a tilapia fillet and a salad for dinner (150 calories total) and probably some peanut butter as a snack. I have had a bad habit of using extra calories at the end of the day in the form of CRAP, last night I had kettle corn because I was only at 1,080 calories at the end of the day, I need to force myself to say no the crap calories and eat some extra veggies and meat or something, it really isn't good to just meet my calories by eating shitty crap.

Anyway, That is all I have got for now. I will try to remember to come back later and post the rest of my day :) Hope everyone is doing well.
 
Just got home from the gym and I am SO proud of myself...

I have been averaging about 6.3 miles in 65 minutes, I have not been able to break the time because I would just get too tired or just slow down when I felt like I could not go any harder, well today I beat that time on the elliptical...

57 min 20 seconds - I HIT 6 MILES!!! That is an average of 9.5 mins a mile! I am sooo happy, I went from not even hitting near 6 in an hour to exceeding it in less time.

Total calorie burn: 840 calories! - 24% of a pound in 65 minutes... NOT BAD : D

AND, I went so hard I got up to 255 strides per minute!

I realize to some this may seem easy, and maybe it is, but for me it was such a huge accomplishment. I went harder and stronger then ever before, and I didn't let myself stop or slow down or hold on to the rails... I just kept going, I just kept at it until my hour was done and slowed down for the cool down. This is just an example that YOU CAN DO ANYTHING, reading other peoples posts about running like 5-6 miles a day in like 10 min miles I thought "I will NEVER get there" well today I learned that I can and I did. I am going to start running after I get my endurance all the way up.

Today was a milestone, and a reminder to anyone who has any doubt in themselves to just keep at it, you will get to where you want to be and NOTHING is impossible or going to be able to hold you back.

I cannot do the elliptical for the life of me. For some reason, (probably cause I run like a donkey), I find the elliptical tires me out in no time. So I stick to the treadmill. I do 20 minutes and crank up height the last 3-5 minutes to get my heart going as fast as possible. (140+) Then I cooldown and hit the weights for 3/4 of an hour.

If I tried that on the elliptical, I would have to hit the shower after and go home! lol

So way to go! :hurray:
 
woohoo, 164.8 this morning. I know it is not too much of a loss, only .6 pounds over the course of 3 days, but I am working on it! :) Only 3.4 pounds away from losing 10 total pounds, I am very excited!

I think my weight loss slowed down because of the crappy carbs I have been eating, I cannot say I have been as faithful to SBD as I should be to see maximum results. So I am going to start over today and stop all carbs except for veggies etc, and start reintroducing good carbs back in 2 weeks time. I should hit my 10 pounds in no time if I stick to the strict phase this time and not cheat.
 
Oh, also I took some pictures to help document my progress. The first ones are a pair of size 10 pants that I cannot get anywhere near buttoning for the life of me, if I lose about 3 inches off my hips I will be able to button those bad boys with ease. (Side note, I don't know why THESE one's don't fit, I have another size 10 pants exactly the same as the ones in the picture, both are from old navy and are "flirts" I think they just wanted to torture me :p ) Then the other pictures are of me yesterday, I added a face shot because my fiance says "Your face has gotten much slimmer" (I call BS) and then there is a picture that I took of me in my veil, which was before I started losing weight so I was at 171.4.

I know what you mean on over doing the carbs, I have been having crazy cravings, probably due to stress and have been going nuts on them! But you seem like you are doing very well so far, and you don't fall too far off the wagon, you are still exercising and I commend you for that. That is real motivation right there! Shoot, I can't wait to see me back at the weight you are now! My goal is also 135. I looked so great then. You are very pretty by the way at 165 or 135. Congrats on your milestone, and K.I.T!
 
It looks like we have a similar frame, and you are looking AWESOME! You are doing so good I'll definitely be reading this everyday as inspiration. i love that you kill at the gym every time! I'm spreading my workouts out through the day, I can't imagine burning 700+ calories in 1 setting, you are a machine!

Thanks for commenting, sometimes I just believe I am doing crappy and that is why nobody stops by, but I am glad to hear that you think my workouts are inspirational. But, in Feb I had told myself "one day, I want to workout so hard that I am pouring sweat and making a puddle like on the biggest loser" and yesterday was that day. I don't know where I got the energy or drive from, but I just felt like I could go fast all day! It was very amazing to say the least. And I always listen to techno type dance music that is fast paced and I just keep with the beat so I naturally go a little faster. :)

And, look at you! more than 7 pounds lost! that is amazing, I cannot WAIT to lose more than 7 pounds!

Yeah, I mean I never go OVER my calories, I am just allowing myself to eat my left over calories at the end of the day in crap, which is not good. Haha, I think of my calories in terms of cash or credit. I only have 1,450 I can spend a day, but if I go over those calories have to go on credit and then I am in debt and have less cash to spend the next day... haha it is stupid, but it works and I never go over.

I had the exact same sweating goal haha! From the Biggest Loser too! Just did it this week for the first time, from BL videos, 2 in a row. My whole back was drenched and I kept getting sweat in my eyes! It felt GREAT!

It does not work because he enjoys drinking and eating whatever he wants. He is more on the body builder side :/

I've never thought of it that way! That is a great idea!
 
Hey guys, so I went to the gym and was proud to lower the weight I put into the machine. I always put a lower weight then what I really am because I feel like it gives me more accurate calorie burn results. I have been putting in 160 since I was about 168 and since I am now about 164 I decided it was time to lower it to 155 :D

Anyway, today at the gym was great, I got 6.93 miles in 65 minutes and burned 841 calories, woohoo another 24% of a pound gone! That is 48% in just two days :) I know I am going to be so happy when I step on the scale tomorrow!

Here is what I have eaten today:

Breakfast:

Turkey Burger (130 calories)
V8 veggie juice (50 calories)

Snack:

About 1.25 TBS of PB (125 calories)
Deli Turkey (50 calories)

Lunch:

Subway Chicken Salad (130 calories)
10 Pistachios (80 calories)

Dinner:

Qdoba
- Taco Salad; romaine, black beans, hot salsa, chicken (160 calories)
- Taco (no shell)x2; steak, black beans, hot salsa (220 calories)

That puts me at 945 so far and I plan on having a can of tuna (100 calories) and another salad (40 calories) and I will find something else I can eat to put my calories up there because I do not want to be lower than 1,350 if at all possible, but I will settle for 1,200 if I cannot find anything to eat.

I noticed your breakfast...turkey burgers. Thats what I made for supper tonite...love em! Put mine in a wrap with a ton of lettuce....yummmy.

Also had a bunch of string beans....but instead of cooking them till the cows come home...I did them al dente, and they were really good and slowed my meal down. (Cause I was starving...busy day here!)

Thanks :) I have hit over 800 the past two days and would love to keep hitting that every time I go to the gym, it would be awesome! The most calories I ever burned at one time in the gym was 1,400.... super crazy, but I was taking diet pills (very bad) that were loaded with stimulants so I had so much energy that I just kept going. But, I would rather use my own energy and hit 800 anyday :)

Turkey burgers are very tasty. I eat mine w/o bun too. We grilled them on the BBQ 2 days ago... so much better than being cooked in a pan... ah I love summer!

Hey guys so I weigh in at 164.6.... only .2 pounds, but that reading is after a coffee and some water :D Either way, a drop is a drop!
 
Check again after sleeping! Bet it'll be lower :) 800 calories at the gym is AWESOME. I wont leave until I've done 400 but 800 is the most I've done and I know it takes AGES and a lot of sweat to do! Super awesome <3
