Im 5'9 A size 18 and I think my weight is around 236 lb, hard to tell my scale

is diffrent each time I get on it. My goal is a Size 12 so My goal

weight is about 176 = 60 lb That I need to loose. If anyone can tell me to

get one of those weight sliders I would be thankful.

I have started a diet every other week for the last two years sence my

daughter was born, and I have quit each time after loosing a few pounds

then gaining them right back. But this time if diffrent. My best friend who

has always been bigger then me even when we were'nt so big, is getting

Gastric- Bipass in less then a mounth. please forgive my spelling.

I dont know if it is odd to reply to my self, but I felt like I need something to do being I have already ate 2100 calories today not horble but I need a distraction from food. Late at night is probebly the worst time for me. It seems I can be good all day but once 7 pm comes I have an overwelming urge to graze. sence dinner Iv had a cup of frozen malt, 2 rollos, and a hand full of nuts. so I have to be done for the night
 
Try soup or tea or some form of low cal warm drink. It fills you up somewhat and takes away the hunger :)

Thanks for the advice I ended up also eating a cup of soup lastnight being I stayed up late watching a movie with my husband and he was snacking so my total for yesterday was a wopping 2390 calories. alot more then I would have liked but the upside is Im fat enuff that 2390 is still less then it takes for me to maintain:D And today is a new day.
 
lol ouch that is a fair few cal.
thats the good thing about counting though. You can go over and not feel quiet as guilty as other diets because you're still lower than maintainance :D
 
I did much better today with a total of 1930 calories. It may sound like alot but the thing I have learned about myself is if I try and stick to a 1400 calorie diet I flip out, so for me anything under 2000 calories is great
 
you will still loose weight, you will just loose it slower .
The good thing is that you are more in control and can eat what you want to without flipping out which is far more important.

I should still loose about two lb a week atleast for awile my metabalism is pretty high I had my resting metabalism checked at the GYM and it is 2650 so Im sure for me to maintain is well over 3000 calories a day being I spend a great deal of time on my feet.
 
Im back replying to myself, I guess it is better then snacking even thow I did just have an apple and cream fruit cup they are not very big but they are pretty good for only 120 calories bringing my total so far for today upto 660 calories leaving me plenty for a good dinner. cant wait to start seeing a weight loss. I realy need a new scale I think I need one that does OZ also so I can feel like Im making progress every day, I know I cant loose a lb a day but Im sure I can loose a few OZ. I know some dont like scales but watching the numbers fall make me happy.

I did pretty good yesterday I had 1810 calories and that was having a drink.

I also think I lost one lb like I have said my scale is all over the place so I go by what it sais is the most and this morning 235 was as as high as it would go.

Hi kim. I know what you mean about the scales! I used to always pick the lowest they would go to to measure myself! I think you have a better idea. I know what it is like to be on and off weight loss too! I have just been here a month. I feel like controlling my eating still matters even more than actually losing weight so far. So I'm focussing on that and just losing slowly. I still have times when it's hard, but it has become much easier. I'm looking forward to seeing you progress.
 
Did pretty good today only had 1860 calories. The thing I am most proud of is that I picked up chineese for dinner and I did not have any spring rolls or crab ragoon. I also had garlic chicken which I had never had before I usely go for the fried stuff but it was realy good and just 1/4 th of a cup of white rice. And for wishes I would love to join in on the friday scale day group, thanks for the invite, and please everyone forgive my spelling for some reason I cant get the spell check to work .
