seanbush:the diary (or) how i changed my life

monday november 15th 2010-

i keep waking up early now even when i don't need to.... i've decided to get a recumbent bike to split up cardio into bike in the morning and run in the evening.. i'm broke but i'm going to flash some plastic and get the powerspin 390... i'd get a membership to a gym but i'll wait off on that until i feel comfortable. i'd rather do things at my own pace in my own home on my own terms. i have been keeping my cals. around 1200 to 1400 and doing some cardio on top of that so i know i should be eating more.... i need to do some more research but i'm sure it'll just say i need protein after a workout....

to the googles!

AHHHHH......

friday november 18th 2010-
been doing a half hour on the bike every morning and running at night.... thank you nikeplus.com... i did have a night out this week though... saw say anything/motion city soundtrack/saves the day in orlando. good show... i did have a dollar mcdonalds cheeseburger and a diet DR. pepper that night but i had the calories to spare so i figured it would be okay to cheat my plan for the occasion. other than that everything has been great... weight loss stalled a little last couple days but no biggie...

LOL yeah well it's been since july since i had any anyway so it not a big loss (pun intended?) anyway... the show was awesome and i'm down another couple LBS since then so i'm def. still on track... loving the Fallout pic in your counter by the way. got another big show to go too next week (dashboard confessional-swiss army romance 10 yr anniversary)...i'll try to keep myself under control at that one but i'm not making any promises...

sunday november 21st 2010-

sunday is most definitely a day for rest... i've been working hard all week and my legs could use the rest. since sunday is going to be my rest day i'm going to start posting my weigh in days on sunday here... so here we go

nov. 2 2010 - 235.0 lbs
nov. 7 ------- 224.5

nov. 21 ------- 220.2

so that's it.... 15lbs so far in november and still another week to go.. hoping for another 2-3 in the next week.. getting up to 20 in the first month would be a great goal but i'm not going to push it....

Congratulations on reaching your first goal! It's great to get to a place you've not seen for years, isn't it?

oh yeah and thanksgiving isn't my holiday so i'm not going to have a problem thursday...maybe a couple slices of turkey and some corn... but yeah...i was born on the wrong side of the ocean... i'll just lock myself in my house until it's over..lol... but seriously.... my familly isn't very supportive and doesn't understand why i need to lose weight... so i don't think i'll be attending the family get together this thursday... i'm afraid they are going to tie me down and stuff biscuits in my mouth.....

LOL! haha so you're wicked. And thanks, I had fun making my Vault Boy banner :) I noticed that you and I are the only ones that seem to be using the my fitness pal ticker. I like them so much more better than that other one. That ticker factory site pissed me off so much. Have you messed around with all the tools they have on MFP yet?

yeah i love that site... i was tracking my calories for a week or so but with what my diet is now i'm eating right and always in my goal range of 1200-1500 a day so i staopped... if i have a question about if i can have something for dinner i'll plug in what i ate for the day...but otherwise i'm on track so i'm not using it anymore.. i felt like it was giving me too much credit for my workouts but maybe it was just me.... but i agree with you on ticker factory... i coded better html projects in middle school.... so when i saw MFL (the opposite of FML... maybe ...lol) i signed up and i like it a shit ton better....

p.s. love la roux... i was supposed to go see her this month but i couldn't go out that night... she is in the states right now though... everyone said she was amazing live

thanksgiving 2010-

well here we are... the day when people stuff themselves full to the point of explading with thousands and thousands and thousands of calories... i've started the day off with a 5 mile run... and i've been sick for the last 2 days. but i'll be damned if that is going to stop me from morning cardio.. the past week i've started with a 1/2 hour weight loss program on the bike and then just doing another 15 spinning after the program ends.. i'm doing this before i eat anything as i'm trying the "lose fat in a fasted state" thing.... i also feel awesome in the morning after doing it... so i'm pretty sure i'm not stopping... as for eating i'll usually have a carnation instant breakfast and then go to work 3 hours and have a bowl of special k blueberry around 10-11... seems to be working out fine.. i can feel the stregnth building in my legs the more i use the bike. i started out and on the lowest program i could only do a constant 20mph and i was almost falling out half through.. but now i'm going up to better programs with more resistance and doing great all the way through. everyone have a good thanksgiving... don't fuck it up...jk

love,

If you KICKED OFF Thanksgiving day with a five-mile run, then a thousand hats off to you.
WOW.
I didn't even think about exercising on Thanksgiving.

this whole time i've been overweight i've been blaming it on the fact that i thought i had slow metabolism... now that i'm eating less and looking at calorie content plus exercise...... i'm learning that it has nothing to do with metabolism.... i was just a lazy asshole who ate too much... if there is something i really want now or i know i'm going to go out i'll do a few extra miles.... my new motto is "Run To Eat"

You can loose weight but it's not possible in just one night. There's no miracle that will help you in this. You need to to do a lot of hard work, exercise, avoiding oily junk food, eat natural & keep yourself healthy.
