Scared out of my mind

We are on the same boat, NR. We can beat this, tho. Was feeling down and out yesterday and today afternoon. But have decided pick myself off, dust the dirt off and continue again. And yay for Wk4- I am repeating it to. I want to be a little bit stronger before I attempt Wk5. Im in no hurry. :)

So glad you are back. We have missed u here.

How did you go this week? How are the clothes feeling? I stayed the same as last week, which I'm happy about cause I was off track for quite a few days.

I got back into the right frame of mind on Tues, and have been ok since then.

Its a struggle sometimes though, hope you are ok, come back soon.

Thanks for your encouragement by the way :) i logged in a few days ago between classes and reading your post helped my stay focused when i was tempted to get a muffin and hot chocolate :p This cold weather always makes me want to reach for comfort food....

Hey Anna-clothes are fitting about the same-i got to a point where they were feeling a bit tight but they are fitting more comfortably now. last week was MUCH better than the 2 weeks before them. i got 5 workouts in out of the 7 days :D looking forward to doing that again this week.

Sorry i havent been posting very much lately-i want to check up on everyone's journal but im going to have to hold off until next week-last midterm this wednesday yay!

so i went for a run last night with my brother and we ran for 20 mins straight!!
it was such a pleasant surprise! i honestly believe im my worst enemy. When im running alone i give up too quickly, but i told my brother to run in front of me and i just focued on his feet rather than on the distance i had yet to run ....and it worked!! i went to a body pump class this morning and hopefully tom ill be able to get another run in.

hope you are all doing great! i miss you all

thanks everyone for stopping by and checking in :) ive been so bad with keeping up with this forum, but not as bad with my eating thankfully. Granted ive had a few free days that could have been a bit less calorie dense but what the hell. its a free day.

with my crazy schedule ive been trying to get 5 workouts in per week and its kind of working. but rather than alternating ill go 3 days workout, 4 days not, or some variation like that were im going to long before getting another workout in *sigh*

so far this week is better. im planning on going for a run tom and then doing body pump on friday. im praying that it doesnt rain.

anyway got to get going...cant wait until this semester is over so i can be abut more consistent on here. i miss you all!!
 
Hey nightrunner we missed you! Glad to see you are still around. I totally give you credit for trying to lose weight while in school - I could have never done it or kept it off. There were way too many temptations for me and I'm sure there are lots for you too. Good work on keeping it up and getting to work outs in. I'm sure your ticker will go in the right direction if you keep up that attitude! Take care :waving:
 
lol Lisa without a doubt the temptations are everywhere-and I probably indulge more often than i should :smash:

So i managed to get a run in this morning with my brother! 23 mins wooot! :hurray: it was drizzling a bit in the morning but we managed :p i need to work on my speed though. I was lagging behind on more than one occasion-that will be my goal for next month. Right now im just happy to be running again!

Eating today has been alright but the day isnt over yet so i hope i dont jinx myself...

will check in again on the weekend-cant wait to read what you've all been up to!
 
Thankfully the weekend went well. I find the protein shakes really help with curbing my appetite for sweets. For the first time in my life i was actually able to turn down cake. and not because i made myself do it, but because it was too sweet to handle. I honestly never thought this day would come!!

Anyway im happy to say i was able to run again on saturday. 22 mins! I aiming to maintain this until December. I say i will work on my speed in December but who knows. i may just decide to run a longer distance but at the same pace. Any idea which would be better?

Anyway for some reason i was up at 155 (+2lbs) yesterday when i weighed myself even though ive been eating right and working out regularly.

My goal is still to be at 149 by November 21st. I think ill just try to weigh myself less. I want to move my ticker beyond 17 lbs lost. Its been stuck there for 2 months! and moving it in the other direction is out of the question so i must stay focused!

Anyway its been quiet around here but i have some free time this morning so thought i would update my journal. Hope you all had a great weekend.

I need a great week too! I was up today too but not moving my ticker and determined to have it move down.
That is so good to turn down cake - I don't think anything could ever be too sweet for me. Good work.
22 min of running is great! Keep it up! I'm not sure which is better - but I'm sure someone will have the right advice for you. I want to be 149 too so let's get there together! Water, water, water and no snacking after dinner is going to be my goal this week - I think I got the working out under control, everything else needs to line up.

Thanks for stopping by Lisa! Im so excited that you've been losing weight! I popped in to your journal last friday i think and was really happy to see your progress! way to go girl!!!!

man time is flying. Semester is over in 5 weeks-finals and everything :(

I'm kind of happy and kind of not. I want the semester to be over because i need some serious time off to myself. Not so happy because i have way too much to do and no time to do it!

Anyway i weighed myself this morning and im 150 (-3 lbs)!!!! yayyy! my offical weigh in day is Friday though so im going to try and maintain this until then. It'd be great if i can lose some more but hell, ill take 150 no problem! This is such a relief. The last time i updated my ticker was sept 12! it took me 2 months to lose 4 pounds!!!! bad bad. Granted there were a few weeks at the end of sept that i gained some weight but whatever. New goal is to be 140 by dec 25th.
10 pounds in 5 and a half weeks. thats totally doable. IM GOING TO DO THIS!!

ill be stopping by everyone's journal sometime this week. Cant wait to see what you've all been up to!

that's so awesome you are 150! Way to go! I know what you mean when you say you are happy but not about the semester ending - I hated the end of the term because everything is due! Don't procrastinate and you'll feel so much better - easier said then done I know. I think 4 pounds in two months is still good - you are busy girl and resisting all those temptations! Good luck making it to 140 - it's going to get harder but I know you can do it! Keep it up!
 
How are you doing? I'm guessing exams are coming up for you and your probably really busy. Thinking of you and missing your posts.

Good luck with the finals. You are losing and you have broken the plateau. And amazing work with running. I had to stop running coz I got really sick and I was travelling. Don't see myself running for the next two months- yucky weather here in Delhi, and I have tons of work to do.

You keep up the good work, and come back whenever you can to update.
 
yay!!!! last exam on saturday! then im coming back!!
ive been able to stay consistent with my workouts, but i have no idea how much i weigh. ive stopped weighing myself since january because i became too obsessed. i found that it has totally made a huge difference. when i have bad eating days i just get back into things the next day where i eat healthy again. before i would jump on the scale and then feel miserable because obviously the needle has gone up...which would make me go eat some more to make myself feel better... bad bad cycle

anyway my clothes fit great, i think ive maintaned my weight somewhere around 150 maybe a bit more, maybe a bit less....but im not going near the scale until i comfortably fit into a pair of jeans ive bought for myself.... :D

cant wait to be regular on here again!!
 
So glad to have you back!! Good luck on your last exam! Good to hear you have been keeping up the healthy life style - usually when people are missing in action for a while it's because they fell off the wagon. I'm pretty much the same weight I was when you were here last - so not a lot has changed. Still pushing forward and working hard. Looking forward to seeing you around more often. Have a great day.
